This card was supplied to me when I started donating plasma. I was saving for a vacation and had quite a bit saved on there. My purse was stolen and someone was able to use all of my funds on that card. They have a dispute department and said they would do an investigation and get back to me within 21 days. It has been over 2 months, I have heard nothing. I have called every week being told the same thing...that there are no notes or results from my disput...I've sent emails and spoke to supervisors and no one can help me or tell me anything. I had a Comdata, loadable, plasma card. Fraud occurred on it in another state. $569 gone. I called them less than 15 hours after it happened. This was in November 2021. I've spoken to five phone reps, filled out reports, emailed the fraud department. NO RESPONSE. I've never received my money back. lThis company IS THE BIGGEST SCAM I have ever encountered. I was a temporary worker for a retail seasonal store and whose hiring manager NEVER disclosed that I would be receiving a "debit/credit" card as payment. The user booklet that accompanies your card does NOT disclose any fee information, if it does, I have yet to discover it! That paragraph miraculous dissappeard from disclosure. I had no idea that I was being charged .50 cents each time I used a debit transaction to get cash back. I have unknowingly racked up over $6.00 in fees for doing this. Additionally, you have to track down the elusive participating ALLPOINT atm to withdraw cash and I am still searching to find one that will work. So far, I have tried with FIVE different ATMs and all have denied my request! I called customer service regarding this issue and the response was "keep looking for one that works." So, I have to drive all around the city to find an ATM that will work! I have heard from fellow workmates who went through the direct deposit route had two weeks to have their money post to their account. Furthermore, if you seek to withdraw your balance from the card through your personal bank, you will be charged $5.00 fee for doing so. The only means of help is to call an 800 number in the Phillipines and good luck speaking to anyone who speaks any resemblance of the english language and the delay in in trasmission which leaves both parties talking over one another. I sincerely believe that companies are getting some kind of kickback for using this service. My brother is with a company that didn't bother to ask him for his bank information and issued his pay checks on the comdata card. He has suffered loss of pay due to the fees charged by this card for nearly every type of transaction imaginable. Even calling customer service has a charge. It should be illegal to have payroll checks forced onto this card when you already have a bank account. Sending a fax sheet with all your banking information to a company you already feel is not reputable to get your rightfully earned money should be illegal. Have to wait another 3 days is bull. I have the Comdata My Fleet Card. This card is very unreliable. My Company has a available line of credit of $10,100.00 line of credit. My truck was broke down 7-08-2020 with a Oil Cooler leaking. I had Volvo do the repair for $4,720.77. Tried to use my card to pay the bill on 7-10-20. Card was declined. Called Comdata and they tried everything they could for say and nothing. They said the money was there however they could not pay the bill cause the card would not go through. One said it was in fraud department and another said that it was not. It really does not matter at this point. My company was pushed into a corner to make some other choices due to Comdata not being a reliable service and their people was unable to issue me a comcheck or anything to resolve this matter. So my truck was going to be down another 3 day before this matter could be resolved. As the owner of my company. We will be cancelling our future relations with this company. Comdata does not provide a good service to small fleets. So if your a small fleet and would like to avoid major head aches. Stay away from this service. Worst rip off scam I've ever encountered, went to the movie theatre with money still in the employee prepaid card and when I went to purchase my ticket the register kept on declining. So I swiped it twice. Both times it was declined. I called immediately to the customer service hotline because my balance now said 0 and they let me know that it was the merchants fault and that I would receive a refund in 24-48 hours, this was on a Wednesday and by Friday I hadn't received any refund so I give them the weekend as I assumed they worked only business days. Monday I call again and they tell me they have no idea what I'm talking about and that they'll go ahead and file a dispute and they don't know how long it would take but that again I'd be notified 24-48 hours later. 2 days later I call and they let me know that both transactions charged and now I have to wait 21 days for them to "let me know" if I could "possibly" get a refund. Now it's my fault and I need to find some sort of receipt as "evidence" of my card declining. First of all if a card is declined the kiosk will not even process the transaction, second of all they gave me completely different information every time I had to go out of my way to call. I know they're calls are prerecorded so why don't they go back and listen to them and see the huge differences in what each employee was telling me. It took me calling a second time 5 days later for them to even file a dispute so the 21 business days is actually 30 days. Now I receive an email that says this is a "time sensitive" situation and that I'll probably have to go to the theatre and ask for some sort of evidence. I set up for direct deposit but what they dont tell you is even though your payday is Friday you wont see that money until Monday or Tuesday the following week. Now my card is being declined... when I called I got a complete idiot on the phone, who kept saying it's a system issue.... however no one else is having the same problem... so they are essentially holding my money hostage. I do not have any account with Comdata (THANK GOD) but i work at a bank where we tried to assist a client with a blank check that was sent to her in order to zero out her account. We sat at my desk for 2 hours calling the same phone number about 11 times (not exaggerating). I felt the most profound pity for this woman to have to deal with a company that not only didn't help her but gave her the run around for 2 whole hours. When we finally spoke with someone of authority her eyes lit up and life was breathed back into her...and then we were transferred again. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. PRAY that your company's HR doesn't use these 'geniuses.' Our first and last paychecks go through this awful company. here are your options for getting your money off their cards. 1. pay ATM fees at your bank (and subject to maximum withdrawal limit at your bank) 2. pay NO ATM fees but you have to find one of their special ATMs- not that easy- OH, and you're limited by the ATM to only withdraw $400 daily. nope- not a joke. $400 a day max. even if your check is larger. 3. wait 10 Business days- i.e. 2 full weeks minimum for direct deposit into your checking account. 4. if you live near a truck stop (no, this is not a joke) you can get the truck stop to somehow set up a check they can put your money on. if, like much of America, you live in a city and don't have a truckstop nearby, you're SOL. oh and customer service is all in the Philippines. so good luck getting someone who can communicate and understand specific issues. nightmare from start to finish. read more

Oh no! I need my money now! It all started when I used my Comdata (Fintwest) card to purchase a product from Amazon. Months later Amazon took $28.98 from my Comdata (Fintwest) card. I called Amazon customer service rep. and they returned the money back to my account. After this event took place, I don't know the reason why Comdata (Fintwest) would block my card and online account. My employment is in another state. I called the company HR letting them know the situation; however, I was told they would mail me a new card and it will take 5 to 7 business days. I have been waiting almost a month. I use combata for my fuel cards. I try to make the payments online and the websites does not work every month. Now because I can not make my august payment online where they said I can and there office is closed they are charging me $1600 late fee for owing $840. I highly suggest you do not use this company they have terrible customer service there payment site does not work and they will say sorry there's nothing we can do about your late fee we will offer you 3 cents off per gallon you spend fo the next 3 months knowing that that will only take off about $300 instead of eliminating the late fee for there mistake online. read more

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Our company had a "high risk transaction fee" of $720 for one month. When I called customer service to ask what this fee was for, the estimated wait time was 4 hours! I used the automated service to get a call back, and the call never came. I called them the next day and was on hold for over an hour before getting to speak with anyone. When I did speak with someone, they could not tell me what the charge was for but issued a credit to NEXT MONTH'S BILL. I had to pay the bogus charge and hope that they actually credited me. I'm on a trip outside the US and requested travel before I left to get approval to use the card. Quick easy process. I was able to the card for 4 days . Now I can't use the card due to an on line transaction that I made. It has now been 8 days since I could use my card in a foreign country. I have called and talked to 26 different CSR and 5 supervisors and I still can't use my card. Even tried the corporate phone # to get assistance but all they did was send me back to the CSR team that is unable to help. No other # can be given to assist with my situation. I have been told 10 different reasons why my card is not working and have submitted about 8 different travel requests. i have been told about 6 times it has been approved to use , but when I go use the card it gets declined.
