I have been a customer of Los Banos Internet for five years without any major issues. Recently, I…read morecontacted them to install a point-to-point connection to another building on my property. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a four-month ordeal. Initially, they scheduled site visits twice and cancelled both times. I specifically requested an on-site survey because there is a building obstructing the direct line of sight where I wanted the dish installed. Each time I was told they reviewed it on Google Maps and "it would be fine." I again asked for a physical site visit due to the obstruction concern, and again was assured it would not be an issue. When installation day finally arrived, I was asked to provide a scissor lift for their use (at my expense). The appointment time was changed twice. The technicians arrived and immediately began work. When I asked where they wanted ladder access on the second building, the technician stated a location on the opposite side from what had been discussed for four months. When I questioned this, he became irate and said, "I guess you know more than I f***ing do." I explained that was not the agreed upon location. He responded by saying, "I guess we're not doing it today," and they left abruptly, spinning gravel as they drove off. Within five minutes, my existing internet service -- which had been active for five years -- was shut off without notice, despite the fact that I had previously paid for this month's service over a week ago. It was 2:45 p.m. on a Friday. I immediately called multiple times with no answer. Shortly after, I received an email stating my account had been cancelled and that I still owed for the next month of service. After calling six times with no response, I drove to their office. When they saw me arrive, they locked the door. Eventually, another employee answered and told me I was being disrespectful and that the owner said I was no longer a valued customer. I explained that my service had been shut off without notice and that we needed to resolve it. The employee told me that it would not be turned back on. At that point, the owner got up from his chair in the back office, came directly toward me, and yelled that I was being disrespectful and to "get the f*** out of his business". When I tried to talk with him about the service, he stepped up into my face, and again yelled for me to "get the f*** out of his business". The interaction was aggressive and completely unprofessional. I then left without further incident. Five years of consistent service ended with my business internet being shut off without warning on a Friday afternoon, after unprofessional conduct from staff, and no resolution. I am still waiting on my refund. To say that I am very disappointed in how this was handled is an understatement. At 3:15 p.m. that same day, I drove to Central Valley Internet and explained that my business internet had just been abruptly shut off. They immediately stepped up to help. Within two hours, I had new internet service installed, and the point-to-point connection was completed exactly where I originally requested without any issue. I am now receiving four times the speed at a better price. I would highly recommend Central Valley Internet.

I have been a customer for over 5 years. Living in a rural area, reliable internet used to be hard…read moreto come by, so I was glad to find Unwired at first. I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.

several months ago I went into the store to inquire about my home WiFi. while I was there I decided…read moreto check into getting me a new phone and switching my carrier service. the gal that helped me out and provided a rough estimate as to what my phone bill would be,made everything sound good. her name was Angelica. so when I made the decision to make the change. I was was offered a iPhone 17. was told I would get a free iPad. my wifi would be lowered. and a few other things that made the deal sound good. oh and my bill would be about $150 a month. after the first 2 months that went by. I received my first months bill. over $300. and I was paying a monthly fee for the iPad. when I was told it would be for free. I was also never told that T-Mobile would not bill for 2 months. so I took the iPad back and told them I didn't want it. and said that I was told when I switched that everything that I was told when I switched was not what was in my bill. when angelica told me one thing, then bill time everything is not what was said. now here I . now am several months later later getting almost $200 a month phone bill.now I'm stuck in a contract for the time being.that I am not happy with at all. I would not recommend going to T-Mobile at all or deal with Angelica because all she is trying to do is get customers for T-Mobile by telling the customer what they want to hear.make things sound good. like your getting a good deal. not happy at all. will be switching back to my old carrier when my contract is up with T-Mobile.

Came to this store on a Thursday at 7:40PM to ask of they had time for me to purchase a new phone…read morefor an existing line on our family plan. There was one employee who was standing behind the counter with a customer, while another customer was on his speaker phone with what sounded like Tmobile customer service. When my husband and I walked in the lady behind the counter looked up at us but didn't acknowledge us. We stood there for 10 minutes while she was scrolling on a phone. She wasn't talking to the customer in front of her...just leaning on the counter scrolling. Never once did she say hello, be with you in a few minutes or ask what it is we were there for. I get it that they were closing at 8..but we literally went in to ask if we could make the purchase or just come back the following day. I guess long gone are the days of simple customer service or is that now considered old school and obsolete. Will make my purchase elsewhere.

They are good at sales~for sure, but as far as knowledgeable about tech & set up/transferring…read morenumbers etc. Not so much... So after buying two iPhones 14 pro & pro max and spending a grip of cash- I still am left without a phone 2 days later... old phone deactivated ~ new phone is useless because they cannot get their heads around a simple set up.... Going back 1st thing in a.m. to give them the business about how to do business!.... UPDATE: Young man helped me activate my phone today~don't know his name but he's tall-slender/wears glasses & has curly dark hair. Knew what he was doing and didn't have a puzzled look on his face like the rest of them in there!
