Great Customer Service. Prompt and on time for scheduling. Needed an inspection to make sure HVAC system was causing leak in ceiling on 2nd floor. Derek came and inspected found no issues. He informed me on type of heater and still verified no backs up for condensation line, no water in tray and reassured no issues. We also checked flow and provided recommended next steps as 1 of the room vents. Are a little less flowing. Satisfied with inspection service and if there have a real issue will use Youngs in future. Nevada's little truck reads "Young's Air Conditioning" on the door followed by "Doing whatever it takes". This accurately describes his service and the service of his team of installers . Nevada met with us on June 1st. He was masked and socially distant without us asking. He was very approachable to my parents whose house we were getting an estimate for. He walked respectfully through the interior of the house. He listened to our concerns about making sure that Grandpa didn't get hit with blasts of cold air. He looked at the ancient ductwork in the attic and also checked the circuit breaker box to make sure there was electrical capacity for this house that previously only had an evaporative cooler. Of four estimators he was the only one who checked both of these. He made a separate appointment to measure every room. He identified the Bryant heating and cooling equipment of appropriate tonnage . His quote (which included new duct work) came out lower than some companies that did not include duct work. He understood that we needed the installation before the family gathering on July 4th weekend. As a customer who lives in the Bay Area I sincerely doubted he would meet this deadline. He even admitted that there were shipping delays! There's no way a contractor in the Bay Area would agree to this kind of timeline! He was being overly optimistic. Or was he doing whatever it takes? Craig, Heath, and another man whose name I didn't catch installed the equipment on July 1st and 2nd. It was 100 degrees outside. They didn't mention the working conditions. They covered everything inside the house where ducting and vent replacement created dust. They wore their masks every time they entered the house. There were no surprises during the installation. They spoke respectfully to us. They showed us how to use the "Easy Reader " thermostat - designed so Grandpa could use it. It was a great 4th of July weekend when all the grand kids arrived. Youngs is very professional. We had a commercial refrigerator go out. They came out gave us an estimate to replace the compressor that was 1/4 the price of buying a new unit. We went with the estimate. Our tech Dave came back on the day he said he would completed the job on time and cleaned up when he was done. In the middle of a heat wave, Young's came out quickly to repair AC Unit. Jose was great! Professional, knowledgeable and very considerate (wore shoe covers on the new carpet). Answered my questions and didn't try to upsell me anything like other companies. I also chose to purchase a new thermostat, and I had to leave to work so he sent me pictures of the finished install. I used yelp to check out Youngs since I am out of town. They were responsive and took care of the new air conditioning unit for my rental. It was about 110 deg so all the air conditioning companies in the surrounding area were very busy. Work was done on schedule. Bills paid with credit card over the phone. I have not heard any complaints from the tenants. read more

This company needs to hire more people especially during "peak" seasons. Our family including Seniors, Babies, Pets, and Handicaps have been without A/C for well over 2 weeks even during 100 degree plus weather outside. I was told, and left to believe, calls were taken in the order they come in; not how desperate a situation may be. I think this is wrong and company policy should be re-evaluated. Our baby was so over heated, I had to give her cool baths. Being promised to have someone come over by the following Wednesday or Thursday didn't happen. In calling about our status, I was told no one could come over till maybe Thursday or Friday. Sorry to say we just couldn't wait another 100 degree day. Called another company and it was fixed almost immediately. Just goes to show all the "stars" don't always mean efficient and quick service. "Young's Co.", you really disappointed us.... read more

We have used Young's to maintain and service our air conditioner for many, many years. We've always been pleased with the customer service and maintenance we have received. It was time to replace it, and we added many wonderful additional things to our existing air conditioner. We began by speaking with Nevada, (how cool is that name?) he was very nice. He was not pushy, very accommodating regarding what we needed and wanted. He explained the differences between choice 1 and choice 2. We have dealt with him Theo this entire process, and Nevada has been extremely kind, and helpful. Then we had Craig, John and Manuel working like crazy to remove our old stuff and install all new ductwork, a new heater and air conditioner. Oh, and it was during the hottest days we've had this summer so far! They were so professional! They seemed to get along very well, which I appreciate. Despite the awful heat, and our evil dogs constantly barking, they never got mad, never swore, nothing. Very respectful. They smiled and joked, and I couldn't believe it when seeing their hustle and hard work. Then we got to the testing. We met Sergio. He rocks! He was the nicest young man that they could have selected to represent the company. My friend visited me during his testing. She agreed, he looked, spoke and acted respectfully and also was super sweet. We highly recommend Young's. The people they have representing their company are great. Just had Robert from Young's air conditioning out to fix my A/C. I have no clue about A/C's and feared the worse. I was extremely pleased with the timely response and the fact that Robert was able to diagnose the issue almost immediately. He went straight to work and within 15 minutes, my unit was back up and running. There were no funny games that you hear from some of the other companies. The part that needed replacing was replaced. No extra "add-ons". Very professional and polite. Hopefully no more issues with my A/C or furnace, but if there is, I'm calling Young's! read more

I scheduled service for my air conditioning on Friday July 9 2021. I was told that they would send a technician out on Monday July 12. I called them about 1pm to get an update as no technician has showed up. I was told that I had a few people ahead of me. 5pm came around no call or technician showed. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that they would still show up, but 9pm came and no call to let me know that they were not coming. I call today to ask what happen and spoke to Yolanda and she said that they were coming today. I told her that they are so unprofessional and that not to send no one to my home as I hired Cen cal air to do repair. At no point did they apologize. Keep in mind that I respectful on the phone with them . Never I will use this company as they are not trustworthy nor professional. had a problem with my air-conditioner had a competitor look at it first and was told that my problem was the txv valve, could not believe that that was the problem, so I called young's Air. The gentleman came and believed it may be the control board. I indicated that the air-conditioner was only 3 years old, so they checked the warranty and the part was covered. I had to just cover labor, which was good. the problem stilled occurred called the next day and the technician came the same day. they ordered the blower assembly with no extra charge. ran the air-conditioner last night and it seems that the problem was fixed. if I went wirh the other company they would charged me $1200.00 for a part that was not needed. Middle of a heat wave & called Young's for help. Very impressed with their turn around during what must be the busiest time of the year for them. It's been over 105 for a week now! Called when they opened & was put on the list as service call #40 & was told to call back towards the end of the day for an update. I called back & was told it would be tomorrow early afternoon. I explained I was less than two weeks away from having a baby & really hope this would be resolved before the weekend. I got a call back within a half hour that someone would be there in 15 minutes! Our water went out and we replaced it with a heat pump water heater. Craig and Junior did an excellent job installing the water heater including finding another problem under the house which they repaired. The job was done quickly and was one of the cleanest installations that I have ever seen. Charles did an excellent job adapting the water heater to the closet, designing the duct work and adding filters to the water heater door. The have the best service in our local community. read more
