DO NOT USE this company. After paying £120 for a screen repair for my Macbook i was advised that it would require an extra £60 part for the glass. No problem with that all all. My problem then comes 5 weeks after this when they tell me they are still waiting for the part to arrive. They answered 1 of my 12 emails i sent and despite me phoning them everytime and being promised a return call i heard nothing back. Spoke to tech dept on the wednesday who then said my laptop was on the bench, should be shipped to me on the Friday, any problems they would call me, otherwise expect it back. Nothing ! I contacted them again after 3 ignored emails only to be told that the screen repair was not the problem and there was a quotation for £850+ for a new logic board ! Told them i want it back. It arrived with an appalling repair to the screen, an image is displayed on the screen yet its very faint, not like that before, there was nothing before and it works on external monitor so not a logic board. Repair is shoddy, screw missing from base off laptop, something is rattling inside ( possibly my missing screw ) and will need to take the back of myself to remove. It has came back in a much worse condition than before it went. I will be seeking a full refund through the courts after being promised a call before 10am this morning and nothing. Customer service is the worst i have dealt with and repair work is substandard to say the least. Many complaints on Facebook page are removed by them. Update I am waiting for some form of ducumentation to summarise exactly what I have paid them and what they did for that money. After the machine stopped working again there was no way I was going to loose it for weeks again, my daughter needed it for her A levels. I took it to a local Apple Approved Service Centre and they were superb.so professional, proper paper work, documenting what they had done, exactly what the warranties were, they called when they said they would and most importantly the computer works. I have no idea if I will get any money back from this company, I suspect they will hide behind some clause in the warranty (which I have never seen anyway). All in it will probably be a £400 lesson in what not to do when dealing with companies over the internet. The more we can do to make others aware of the appaling service from this company the better. Agree with all other reviews. I have never experienced such bad service. They had my laptop for about six weeks, when it was returned it worked for three days before breaking down again. They have provided me with no documentation covering what they have done. I started to believe that they were a scam organisation that didnt really exist, in reality they are just awful to deal with. read more

Do not go anywhere near this company. Their interpretation of customer service is to take as much money as they can from you and then just lie. I sent my Mac for repair to them September 2011 and through Trading Standards have only just had a completion of all my troubles with them. As with some other reviews they gave me a quote which I agreed to, sent in my laptop and then two days later they rang saying there is another problem and needed more money. This was the last I heard from them. Don't bother calling them because you all you get are some bizarre excuses why they cannot speak to you and they never call back. They only ever respond to legal letters. I have now got part of my money back but am left with a Mac that cannot connect to the internet - which was not a problem in the first place. Do not use this company. Repair World is part of the Comart group owned by Nathan Senior. I sent my MAC Computer to this company and was told that it would take a week to repair & return.3 weeks later I was told I was told that they have found another fault and I had to pay some more money up front. (like a fool I did) If only I had read the reviews.. We are now 2 months down the road, £720 down, and still no computer. Every time I call I can not speak to the right person. You leave a message, no one calls back. Emails are ignored. I am now starting legal action against this company. Consumer Direct have also been contacted. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. Its a shame that you need to mark them with a star to leave a review. read more

Looks like I'm in the same predicament. I'm gonna throw another company's name into the bag though Go Go Gadget Repairs, Technology House, Ridge Road, Rotherham, S65 1NS. Same address, different name. This was on the repair label that Ryan Critchley emailed me. Emails to his address are returned undeliverable and the phone number 01709363418 is not recognised. I have spoken to someone at Go Go Gadget on 08451302999, who seemed quite helpful and said my Ipod was inline for repair and should be back with me soon, given the backlog from Christmas. I'm gonna try again next week, but not holding out much hope now :( BTW I was charged £69.99 so they seem to pick prices out of thin air too. I'll post again if I hear anything eitherway. read more

A truly terrible company Like the others I missed these reviews as they were trading under Repair world (rotherham) rather than Comart ITM or plc . I sent off my iPhone to be repaired - I was told it needed to be replaced and I agreed to pay for a replacement from apple - 3 weeks later nothing came back. Emails not answered, it was really difficult to get though on the phone when I did get though they were often rude. after another few months and constant phone calls they returned it still broken with no replacement more time and many more phone calls later I have had a refund (I think they were just waiting for me to get bored and give up). I would not send anything: IPODS, MACs, iPhones, iPads to be repaired here. read more

Awful!! booked a repair for my laptop in December and was told a courier would pick it up the next day12hrs of waiting in later-nothing! I cancelled the repair the next day and was told I would receive a refund, a month on and numerous phone calls (its amazing how many staff they seem to get through during a week, when you try to speak to the person you spoke to last time- they've left!)/emails later still no refund. I have now past it over to the credit card company for them to retrieve my £75. They are not bothered at all about customer satisfaction they just want the cash.if they were a reputable Company surely they would take note of customer reviews and get things in order-the reviews say it all! read more

Not sure if they are crooks or incompetent, but either way you should steer well clear. They failed to repair my Mac after having it for two months there was no pro-active contact from them at all over that period and every time I called for an update I was told they were waiting for a part or that the wrong part had been delivered. They eventually repaired the Mac unrepaired, after which it then took literally 20 phone calls and another two months to get a refund. Their excuses alternated between we will process the refund tomorrow to the accountant is on holiday to we've lost the password to the Worldpay system so we can't refund you. They are an absolute bunch of time-wasters avoid at all costs. read more

Both me and my partner have had a few items repaired with Repair World. I used them to get an iPod screen replaced and two different laptops repaired, one of which was for a keyboard replacement and a HDD upgrade and the other was a faulty charge port on my daughter's laptop. On each occasion I had no major problem's with them, the only drawback seems to be a delay with the parts. This may seem like a big thing but as long as the items come back fully-working then I'm happy and so is my daughter who uses her laptop on a daily basis. read more

Without doubt the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. It is unfortunate you have to leave 1 star in order to write the review. Sent my Blackberry in for repair and it took 6-7 weeks of phone calls and broken promises before I got it back. When it finally did arrive it had exactly the same fault! Avoid these people at all costs. I only wish I'd read the reviews beforehand, but they trade under the name 'Repair World' and you only get the Comart name later. read more

Atrocious service, I don't know how they've got away with all this. I sent off my laptop for repair, paid up front but was assured that it would be dealt with in less than 10 days. After a wait of 4 weeks, I started getting concerned when the e-mails bounced and the telephonist only tried to shake me off the line with relentless lies. Sent Ipod Touch to Comart trading as repair world rotherham aong with £84.99. Three weeks later and after receiving someone else's completely scap Ipod and many phone calls I have still not received my Ipod or any money back. Was told today that parts are on order and will be fixed next week. Do not touch this company unless you are happy to throw away your money. read more

Everything written above has happened to me. 1) Terrible customer service 2) 8 weeks and waiting for my laptop still 3) Asked for extra money, which I p[aid and still have not yet received an invoice for. I've used this company a few times for lcd for my laptop, upgrading a harddrive and memory for another laptop and a battery for my 3gs, all on seperate occastions, and besides things taking a couple of weeks for delivery of parts etc, I've had no problems, everything works perfectly and still does. read more

Just had mu ipod touch 4th gen repaired here, part was fitted while i waited, took around 30minutes and its good as new, really happy.
