Once inside, you'll notice that the restaurant is larger than it first appears from the outside. There are several tables, as well as a full lunch counter with seats. Homely and warmly decorated, there's certainly a wonderful aura and atmosphere inside. The kitchen is visible from the counter, and the menu is only in Spanish. There's usually quite a lunch rush, and it may be hard to find a seat at first. It's worth the wait, as you see delicious typical Salvadoran dishes leaving the kitchen and being delivered at a rapid rate. The prices are extremely affordable, with various lunch specials costing only $5. The soup changes daily, so I went for the mondongo (tripe soup, in a beef broth, with carrots, celery, and yucca). In addition, no trip to a Salvadoran restaurant would be complete without sampling their pupusas. I ordered the pupusas con todo, which came with pork, cheese, beans, and loroco.
