Most importantly, the service here was very friendly and the food was excellent! It is VERY small - maybe 12/14 people maximum and you'll be directly next to other people/parties at the tables. The seating is on small stools, which isn't good for some and there is no place to hang up a jacket/purse/backpack. All that being said, I would certainly come back here and recommend it to others. The menu is simple, but everything looked fantastic (glancing at the dishes others ordered). You all gotta come here if you are in Mexico City. The vibes are immaculate. They only have **very** limited seating outside, and it's one large shared table but do your best to squeeze in. I recommend the enamolada, Gordita, and flautas ahogadas! SO SO GOOD! Try the mole and the verde salsa too. Seriously, eating here makes you feel like you're in a movie. It's picturesque scenery on a beautiful street, and even the food looks artsy. Aqua Fresca is great, too. Super refreshing. read more

Very tasty spot in San Miguel de Chapultepec. Be warned the wait can be quite long. We went on a Tuesday afternoon at 2 and waited 45 minutes just to sit. There is only one long table for seating and even if you opt to take out, you still have to wait your turn. That being said the Agua Fresca was fresa and naranja and very tasty! The Gordita was also delicious along with the guacamole and chips. I was stuffed. Would definitely eat again. read more

Lovely place to eat! Food was very fresh and flavorful. You eat outside and it is fun. Great service and for such a small kitchen the food can out soon. We eat in a lot of good places in Mexico City and we really enjoyed it. Guacamole was so fresh! We are a Chile dish covered in a sweet white sauce stuffed with a flavor filled stuffing. This place has beautiful plating, and the sauces were really good, the actual dishes were okay/good enough. The chicken is dry if skip that, but the chicharrón and Chamorro were good and moist. The service style was interesting. There's one community table and one server. I'd go again for the chicharrón gordita, the guacamole, the salsas and mole but everything was average. read more

I don't know what else to say but go to Comal Oculto now - like seriously don't pass go, don't collect $200 just get your self to this special little place and you can thank me later. We finished our tour of Casa Gilardi and a gentleman recommended this spot - I can't thank him enough - Very tiny spot, maybe 10 seats total - absolutely worth the wait - we went by what our waitress - the lovely Georgina - suggested - we had the agua Fresca which was Hibiscus and Guava - perfectly cool and refreshing- we shared the carnitas gordita and the taco des chamorro - those were good but the star of the show was the enmolada, which is like an enchilada with chicken and the mole - oh the mole I will forever dream of this rich decadent mole - service was friendly and charming and the food was next level x yum already thinking of a way to fit in another visit before I go x read more

i would say this restauraunt was okay. my dad was trying to show me how good cemitas and we choose to get them here. they were sorta dry but overall had a good taste. we did also see a waiter do a very impressive thing with espresso. read more

What a gem of a place! This was the only place we visited twice in our entire trip to Mexico City. A tiny little stand with one communal table that seats about 10 people. We had the Emolata, the gordita, especial, the Chilaquiles, and also the flautas with red and green sauce. Everything was amazing, but especially the gordita and emolada. The most tasty Molé I think I've ever had my life! It was thick and rich, and cut with some sort of sour cream. The staff were also wonderful. Great little local spot with amazing food!!
