Then he tells me I'm rude and goes to tell his manager. Before he does that, I tell him he doesn't have to be concerned because I'm leaving. I don't think he was listening because when he was talking to the manager, IN THE HALLWAY for everyone to hear, he says oh, and now she's leaving. I get chased down the hallway. Do not get mad at me because the doctor told me something yesterday and I'm following her instructions. I should have listened to Dr Perna the first time I met her when she was more than an hour late for our first appointment so I left and about 50 minutes late for our second first appointment. She was upset I was upset. And she said I should find another doctor because she will continue to be at least an hour late but insisted I be on time. Passive aggressive poorly run practice. Run away.

She is the utmost rude person in the office hands down. Dr. Merola is the sweetest doctor around and has the best bedside manner. He ACTUALLY cares. He, however, is never on time. We were 10 minutes late (considering he is ALWAYS 45+ minutes behind schedule) and immediately were met with an outrageous amount of attitude. Not a single greeting was made. We were forced to reschedule and she recommended a nurse practitioner who we've never even heard of before but after reading reviews about him I'm glad we passed (due to his bad attitude as well). Dr. Merola is probably going to retire soon with the amount of headache his "office manager" is going to cause him.

I've grown to routinely schedule Apps. w/Doctor Merola and that is solely due to the Doctor scheduling fairly routine lab work "and explaining what it means" along w/ bn comfortable to ask questions about issues again because he takes the time and is able to explain to my understanding. His office staff te wonderful, always vey pleasant and helpful! With the insurance companies/Hospitals many ppl in MA he worried yet staff kept patients informed! The office is running smoothly. Dr.Merola is efficient more then capable and nvr forgets to ask "How's ur mom doing " . I do recommend N.Connolly

I wish I could give Dr. Wendy Gaines 0 stars. She is the worst physician I have ever worked with. I…read moream 26 and six months into changing my life to be healthier. However, while going over my history and my weight gain from the past year, I felt judged by Dr. Gaines at every moment. Constant jabs about my weight and alcohol intake during the height my depressive episode due to the pandemic were made throughout the appointment. I do not drink nearly as often as I used to (about 2/3 glasses of wine on a Friday or Saturday), and was still shamed for it. Every question I had about my health would come back to my weight gain, and shamed me at every chance she could about this subject. She also claimed that I was late, even though I arrived at the appointment on time. She made references to my tardiness throughout the appointment by telling me that we couldn't get to specific subject matter because she is "on a schedule and that's how it is". On top of everything, after this appointment I was sent a bill for $428.30. I've been in contact with my insurance and they claim that it's in the physician's control. With that, I've called Wendy Gaines' office multiple times to get clarification, but their reasoning for this bill is that it's a First Time Physician's Visit and does not classify as a physical. Sure - but does that mean I should pay $428.30 for a one hour visit? Even if Wendy Gaines was a good physician, this bill would still be absolutely ridiculous for someone who has insurance. Overall, I do not recommend Dr. Wendy Gaines and recommend that she stop practicing medicine. I left the office in tears and I will never go back.

They work together as a team, which is something you don't see very often. I have been going there for quite a while, and everyone there, at one point or another, has gone above and beyond to help me. Vicky, Dr. Goldman's assistant, is marvelous. She is always so pleasant and personable. Recently, I discovered that it was she who took it upon herself to write what must have been a master crafted PA in order to obtain Lidoderm Patches for me. I have been trying to obtain them via insurance for over a year. Three doctors have tried, as well. These patches are the one thing that cures my pain. I had resorted to buying them from Canada for close to $200. One day, I got a letter in the mail stating my appeal had been approved. Now, a month's supply is under $5. Dr. Goldman is a stellar doctor, who takes time to listen and offer knowledgeable, compassionate feedback. I've never felt rushed out his office. He's sincerely concerned and has been there for me during recent health crises, which I will never forget. He's also funny, witty and sharp. His calming demeanor has made me feel at ease. I don't normally call health providers, but have called Dr. Goldman. I feel comfortable with him, and know he's not going to balk at my concern(s). He really wants to help, and it shows. Excellent staff; I just can't say enough good things about you. Thanks!

Dr Goldman is patient, curtious and knowledgable. I never feel like they are rushing through my apts (I've also seen one of the PAs here). Been here for both annual exams and sick visits and have been happy with the outcome The office runs pretty much on time. The front desk is nice. On site phlebotomy a plus. Exam rooms are either freezing or over-heated. Way to go NWPC!
