All of the people doing the work have been great and put a lot of effort and attention into their craft. We have also found our project manager, Cody, and the rest of the KCCNE staff to be very responsive to any questions/issues. And finally, when issues arise, as they inevitably do in projects of this size, KCCNE has been very easy to work with to get the issue resolved. No fuss or any problems. I definitely recommend KCCNE.

I was able to find stone that complemented my vanity becuase I had it with me, and leave my sink so they could cut the opening and attach it perfectly. I tried other stores but it seemed my order was small so not very important. Customer service with Melanie and Kim was great. Turned out because of a miscommunication with my contractor (not CSC), I needed more stone for thresholds and shower shelves so CSC was able to match the stone and turn it around in a week. I'm really happy with how everything looks and the price fitted my budget. Would definitely recommend CSC.

For certain items this place is great - pre hung interior and exterior / steel entry doors,…read moreflooring tile, countertops made from laminate or granite and of course a wide range of cabinetry (they offer preassembled or ready to assemble cabinets - you can even pay them to put them together if you do not have the time / skills / tools)...a lot of handymen I know swear by the kitchen faucet assemblies for upgraded looks without the big box stores price tags! The above items all seem to be on the up and up at reasonable pricing. Some of the items they sell - bathroom faucet sets are double the price of the big stores. They have toilet and sink repair items but not everything you might need depending on the job and again - the prices aren't exactly a bargain. They sell shower assemblies that I would think may be fine in an all adult household - but I can not picture them standing up to the typical wear and tear of little kids or teenagers. The staff was busy but still friendly on the three occasions I've been in recently - even when i needed to return an item - so that was good. Shop around, do your homework - but keep this place in mind for kitchen remodels on a budget! April 2018 Update - adding a star! I have now purchased ready to assemble cabinet assemblies for myself and for my employers office renovation. I have found Matt and Adam to be super helpful and well versed in the cabinet lines they carry. The cabinets were easy for a two man team to assemble very quickly and the cabinets themselves are all very nicely made / good quality. I would definitely recommend purchasing cabinets and accessories through this store anyday.

The patio and retaining wall look great. The project took longer than expected, but those delays were all on our side. We took longer than we should have to make various decisions about light fixtures, etc. We also changed the scope of the project a few times, adding more areas of walkways that we decided needed to be refinished with the stamped concrete. We would recommend KBR for any project that you might have. Karen was great to work with and even when we were not following through with things on our end, she never lost her cool with us and was very patient waiting for us to come to decisions on things. Their designer (Tong) helped us with a plan to combine two small awkward rooms into one bathroom and worked within our budget to give us a much more functional space. Work started as scheduled with Steven as our PM and he kept us well informed along the way, handling any issues as they arose and minimizing disruption to the rest of the house. The NKB carpenters (Michael and Jorel) were excellent and kept things moving onsite along with some great subcontractors for plumbing, electrical and tile that Steven aggressively coordinated to ensure the project progressed quickly. The end result was better than we hoped and we only had one small change order for a late change we made to the plan. We truly appreciated the professionalism and flexibility of the whole NKB team from the design process with Tong through final payment with Adelya in Finance. They kept us on schedule and on budget with no surprises. We now have a beautiful bathroom that we will enjoy for years to come!
