You walk off, walk maybe 100 feet and on the left are these clean, very nice scooters. We rented a 50cc Vespa and shared it (didn't mind that it only went 35MPH) and rode the coastline for miles. The cost was extremely affordable and the staff very attentive and friendly. Only down side is there is a substantial deposit but I think if I would have called Amex before they would have confirmed the 'car rental insurance' that they provide on all car rentals made using their card. I paid using my Captial 1 card and had zero issues. Very very happy with this business

They put up with my poor French skills and allowed me to save face by conducting the entire service experience in English. They even gave me a couple hour grace period. For anyone who is doing this for the first time in Europe here are the details: They have all of the gear you need except for boots so I highly suggest you buy and bring your own. And if you are a long time motorcycle rider/enthusiast you should own your own gloves and boots; bringing them with you shouldn't be a large issue. I personally rented a helmet and jacket with both fitting better than expected. This isn't like renting ski or snowboarding equipment; it was all quality stuff from what I could tell; though not name brand which is fine for me. The bike itself was ready to go as promised in also new condition. Once you pick your bike online, they'll email you to get a copy of your license showing your motorcycle license/endorsement on your license. Note you have the option to drop the bike off in a different location which is great if you plan on going on a long trip across the country. I planned on riding into Monaco for the F1 race which I was told would cause more difficulties for them and honestly it worked out better for me as well as it was madness there. Will definitely be going again but I highly recommend that you book a bike a week before hand to insure they have one available for you; especially if it's a special weekend of some kind OR if you need it for longer than a day or two.

We arranged the booking from South Africa and was lucky enough to be served by Vincent Taillardat, who went out of his way to make the experience one that we will never forget. He really impressed us with his professionalism in all our dealings and took trouble to make our holiday a very special one. The motorbike was in beautiful condition. What impressed me most was when Vincent offered to collect the bike from our hotel in Antibes at the end of our trip, while the rental agency is based in Menton. That was wonderful service and is such a good example of a company walking the extra mile to look after its customers. Next year I will most certainly rent a motorbike from Bike Trip. Thank you for your friendliness Vincent also for suggesting some spectacular routes. We visited the most beautiful places imaginable, such as Villefranche, Gourdon, Cassis, St Remy, Aix en Provence, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the fountains of Vaucluse and Antibes.
