They put up with my poor French skills and allowed me to save face by conducting the entire service experience in English. They even gave me a couple hour grace period. For anyone who is doing this for the first time in Europe here are the details: They have all of the gear you need except for boots so I highly suggest you buy and bring your own. And if you are a long time motorcycle rider/enthusiast you should own your own gloves and boots; bringing them with you shouldn't be a large issue. I personally rented a helmet and jacket with both fitting better than expected. This isn't like renting ski or snowboarding equipment; it was all quality stuff from what I could tell; though not name brand which is fine for me. The bike itself was ready to go as promised in also new condition. Once you pick your bike online, they'll email you to get a copy of your license showing your motorcycle license/endorsement on your license. Note you have the option to drop the bike off in a different location which is great if you plan on going on a long trip across the country. I planned on riding into Monaco for the F1 race which I was told would cause more difficulties for them and honestly it worked out better for me as well as it was madness there. Will definitely be going again but I highly recommend that you book a bike a week before hand to insure they have one available for you; especially if it's a special weekend of some kind OR if you need it for longer than a day or two.

The lead spoke excellent english, professional courteous; his assistant english was a little broken but enough that we could enjoy a great conversation. We had communicated openly about my BF level of experience (which was excellent) before they suggested the route they explained the driving rules and terrain to ensure he was comfortable then we took off! Great day; equipment excellent condition! Unless you are a native; remember this is a different experience that we wouldnt have traded it for the world.

Signed some paperwork and off we went for about 9 days. No issues with the bikes except a service maintenance interval light that went off on my friends bike, and a headlight that burned out, but that was easy to rectify by swapping out the high beam bulb for the regular bulb. Had a minor incident with a driver crossing over my lane in a corner which forced me to go wide and low side the bike when trying to complete the turn. Last day of the trip too, no issues from Alexander, he quoted parts cost alone and the total for the repair was very reasonable. Got a ride back to the airport at the end as well. Very good rental place that doesn't limit your mileage, would highly recommend them!

Our recent car rental for three weeks in October had some ups and downs. First the line up is…read morefine; and some of the personnel are top drawer. However, over a lifetime of car rentals all over the world, we were shocked and dismayed by the attitude of this franchise of Avis. After more than two weeks of driving in the Nice area, we suffered a flat tire. After contacting Avis, we were told that a tow truck would arrive in 45 minutes. After waiting for almost two hours, the truck arrived. He first tried inflating the tire. That didn't work, so he towed the car back to Avis. We we along to exchange cars. After waiting at the Avis counter for over an hour, we were inforned that they were charging us for a new tire. Two days later, while driving on the via Anglais at noon time, a man on a motorcycle busted out our rear passenger side window, while we idled at a stoplight. We drove directly to the airport, both to report it and to change to another car. Again, we waited for over an hour; and were again informed that we would be charged for a new window. Between the tire and the window, we were charged over 400 Euros. We've had flats before in rental cars. We've had rental cars burglarized and/or vandalized. In all previous instances, both in Europe and the states, we have never been charged for such things. Besides our previous experience, tires wear out and are expected to be replaced. That's part of the costs of business--not something passed on to the unlucky customer who happens to be driving the rental car at the time that the tire dies. Second, if the customer is charged for vandalism, what incentive is there for the good people of Nice to clean up this problem? We think something is very wrong about this situation. Otherwise, great service. If you need a car in Nice, find another agency.
