As I explained to the nice folks at Buckeye boxes, my mom died recently, and we need some boxes to transfer her stuff from home to the auction company. I asked if they had any surplus boxes, and the nice lady at the front desk told me their 16 x 16 x 16 boxes were the best deal and were what most people got for moving. Unfortunately, after buying the boxes, I discovered that Home Depot sells a similar sized box for less than half the price. I could have got 50 boxes at Home Depot for the same price as the 20 boxes from Buckeye Boxes, or 57 boxes at Walmart. The cheaper boxes are not as sturdy as the Buckeye Boxes, so we aren't really talking "apples to apples," but for what we are doing, a lightweight box would be sufficient. If you're looking for high quality boxes for shipping or long term storage, see the nice folks at Buckeye Boxes. If all you need is a box to get stuff from point "a" to point "b," you might want to look elsewhere.
