I liked the attention to detail and the scalp analysis. The scalp massage is the stuff that dreams are made of. Her hands were magic and I drifted off to sleep without even knowing. The heated table you lay on during your service also adds in to the comfort of your experience as well. The only thing I didn't like is due to the small space, it's a pretty open area so you can hear things going on around you which can take away from the serene environment they're trying to create. Overall, I will definitely return, it's one of the most relaxing things I've done in awhile.

I have really fluttery eyelids so getting lash services are always a hit or miss; the only other time I got a lash lift the technician got the chemicals in my eyes and it was really unpleasant. Kalie was the complete opposite! I was very comfortable and didn't have any issues whatsoever. The lash lift and tint turned out beautifully and I left feeling beautiful and taken care of. I'm pretty picky with my brows and usually self-conscious about my rounder face. Elizabeth nailed them both: perfect airbrush contour and listened to how I liked to have my brows filled in. She also gave me some suggestions when I complained at how my day-to-day eyeliner usually fades or runs! Elizabeth is really easy-going, sweet and a fantastic make-up artist. I had no issues initially booking for my date (about a year in advance) - and I was even able to make adjustments to my total number of attendees up until the final payment was due (about a month before the big day). We scheduled my hair/makeup trials in July - which seemed a bit far out from our November wedding day at first, but actually ended up being perfect! There's so much running around that happens within the month leading up to the big day, that it was nice to have this all taken care of well in advance. I worked with Alli for hair and Jasmine for makeup - and they were both absolutely incredible! Not only were they masters of their respective crafts - but they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. It was also so nice to already have made a connection with both of them during the trials - because it made seeing them both the day of the wedding like re-connecting with an old friend. We ended up hiring an additional hairstylist/makeup artist for the day of the wedding as well - which I highly recommend if you have a larger wedding party/group of family getting ready. If we hadn't brought in the additional assistance - we would've had to begin getting ready much earlier. Instead - we were able to start around 11 a.m., and wrap up for photos at 2:30 p.m. For exceptional service, stellar communication, and competitive prices, I highly recommend booking with Brideface for your big day!!

Rachel was my hair artist, but the whole team jumped in and helped with the color, washing my hair, etc. They took their time and talk to me on what I wanted done. Very patient and felt very comfortable. I appreciated the salon offering me a drink (tea, water, coffee, etc). I also got to meet the owner Tina Marie who was humble and down to earth. My visit was getting OMBRE BALAYAGE (color) and a haircut. Oh wow! What a great experience! I loved how my color and cut turned out! The warm tones complimented my skin tone. The cut was very chic! I purchased one of their oil products for my hair that they highly recommended. I was very satisfied that I already booked my next color appointment. FYI, they have a parking garage next to their salon which can be validated for $5.00 when you bring your ticket in. I am definitely telling my friends about this place. Whenever I work with any type of artist I make sure I am completely obsessed with their work and have total confidence in their skill so I can fully trust them and let them do their work without worrying. Lexi is THAT gal! I spent the better part of a week scouting stylists and I knew she was it. So I go to AV Beauty and it is the cutest freaking thing! It's essentially one big room and it makes you instantly feel connected because the waiting area is right there in the action. (I'm an introvert and might be turned off by this somewhere else but it was awesome!) Lexi was so sweet from the first second - offered me a drink, caught the vision from my reference photos right away, and was super upfront about managing my expectations with what we could achieve in one session. (spoiler alert: she definitely under promised and over delivered). Ya'll, I have a LOT of THICK hair! Like, you have no idea. I typically spend a whole day at the salon and I was there for seven hours and my homegirl, Lexie, did not quit! She was amazing. She wants to make sure it's complete top quality and she's put her whole heart into it before you leave her chair. One of my favorite parts was that the other stylists and clients are all in the same space and it was basically one big hang out. Arica was our makeup artist and she was truly amazing. She had the most fun and simultaneously calm energy. Arica is a ray of sunshine and so talented.
