I won a free hydrating facial through Instagram. I chose to use it on my birthday (in June). This is only the second facial I've gotten in my life & the first one was many years ago, so unfortunately I couldn't compare the two. I enjoyed this one though. The room was comfortable and so was the table that I was on. She put on a headband on me to help keep any product out of my hair. She asked me all kinds of questions before we began, including about my daily regimen for my face and any allergies I might have. I found it very thorough. She also explained each step that she did for the facial. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Only a few minor points. Since my first time there, I didn't know the setup of the business. I saw the address was the one I was provided, but it was a little confusing because I didn't realize there were other businesses located in the same building. I was unsure about where to go, including the door to go in because I didn't see any signs for her specific business. Also when entering there was a check-in person who must handle check-ins for all of the businesses in the building. Again I wasn't aware of this and was uncertain about approaching or where to go. A bit of a heads-up would have been nice.
The second minor point is that the headband didn't completely keep the products out of my hair, especially the scrub/exfoliator used. I'm not sure if much could have been done, but it did seem like there was a decent amount on the edge of my face and in my hairline.
