It is…read moreclose to restaurants, shopping, entertainment and sporting venues, and wonderful views of the heart of downtown Denver. The campus is a blend of new and old, with new dorms that are the best I've seen (we've toured 15 schools across the country), some additional new facilities and also a couple of old churches and a little park that is a preserved neighborhood from the late 1800's with tree lined walkways and placards sharing who lived in each home-now-university offices. The Tivoli Student Union is the key landmark, situated in a large open quad area. The Auraria campus is a shared campus between CU Denver, Metropolitan State, and Denver Community College.

This place cares about money and not quality. Don't send…read moreanyone here. I promise you the rumor of the education system being fraud is very real here. They will suck every penny they can from you in elaborate ways on top of tuition. This can be from making you buy unnecessary books which you genuinely do not need, to paying 7$-15$ for parking every single day with no overnight parking allowed. This place does not care about its students but instead, only about the money that they can potentially get from them. If they genuinely cared about students they would offer free or cheap parking passes for people who have to drive a long way. They do offer outrageous passes for parking that are 300$+ for 3 months. There is no campus life and if you are ready to be asked for money from different organizations unrelated to you every single time you walk for campus, this is the place for YOU! Plan on paying for parking, getting frustrated with the bursars office for scholarships (if they even allow you) and for an overall general sense of being pissed off. If you stay in the dorms, there have been bomb threats, random loud fire drills, and most importantly TWO SEPARATE TRAINS THAT GO OFF AT 3am and disrupt sleep every single night. Please please PLEASE see this place as it actually is which is a business. They want your money for a service and the service they provide is NOT worth what they are charging. I genuinely hope they take a look at how they are treating the students and decide to help the commuters and the students not trying to go broke for an education. I only write this review because I have had my limit. I'm done pretending like everything is ok when in reality, this is the worst experience I have ever paid for. Don't get me wrong, this is great for adults looking to score some transferable credits but not great for young students trying to find their path.

It's been over a year but I was able to get a CNA license from Ann Rose. For me it was an update…read moresince I let my license lapse. Also I was renewing as a personal caregiver and not working in a hospital or care center. I am so grateful for all of the support and encouragement. Things had changed since I last had my license. It was so much easier for me to get in a place with a small group, the one on one attention I received. Also the availability of classes I was able to choose from worked with my family. All of the staff were so helpful and kind. I truly appreciate that and I have recommended them to many different people. Others in my class had already secured a position prior to completing their training. I was able to start in my position days after my testing was complete. Not only do I have my CNA but I am also CPR CERTIFIED.

The "school's" diversity statement has changed since my day, and now includes transgender protections, so maybe today's students have a tolerable experience. Really, my entire time at Naropa "University" was a big waste of my time and money.

As a former Warren Tech student, it saddens me to say that I firmly believe allowing our child to…read moreattend was likely the worst decision we have made as parents. One with far-reaching & long-lasting ramifications that far surpass any benefit of one school year spent on this campus. The experience here took a historically outgoing and engaged student, with very well thought out plans for the future that wanted to utilize the course here as a stepping stone to an already chosen future career path and derailed it. An independent and more mature learning experience is expected from Warren Tech, but the complete and utter lack supervision, intelligence or guidance by the administration at this campus is unsurpassed. It has lead to a long, threatening journey for our child/family and turned an open, good-natured and gregarious student into to one who now struggles to trust anyone or find a path. We should have pulled our student out of their program the first semester. Hindsight is 20-20....

And now they're trying to bill a second time!!!! I payed my tuition and all other fees at the beginning of the year I should not have gotten a bill. If I was never registered for the class then why would I have been on the attendance list? Absolutely stupid I cannot believe the staff and how they still have a job fucking ridiculous.
