No other stores I contacted, including big box stores, could get us fit in for a measure, or they didn't have carpet in-stock, and we were told to expect weeks (or longer) before install. Someone kindly recommended Carpet Clearance Warehouse, and I quickly found a carpet I liked a lot. CCW fit us in for a measure the next day, and installed the following day!! We got beautiful, high quality carpet for what seemed like a fair price. The only confusion I had was that the listed pricing said "installed" which apparently included the padding, but installation was charged additionally. I did have to ask for a written invoice, they didn't send a written quote prior to installation. The invoice I received was as verbally quoted, I was just surprised to see the installation had been itemized as a separate charge. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will use them again.

We got a call the day before our installation, to confirm the job and Eric arrived at 8:15 the next morning. He was actually early!! Eric did a really wonderful job -- our house is old, old and the vinyl was going over very old linoleum (horrid old stuff!!) Our kitchen floor was completely done by about 11:00. IT IS BEAUTIFUL!! My husband and I want to thank both Jim and Eric and let them know that we'll be back!! Thanks!! After our great experience with the vinyl flooring -- we went back, looking for carpet for our enclosed porch. As we walked in the door -- Jim welcomed us back!! Remembered us -- nice! We found carpet we love and scheduled installation for the following week. Day before installation, again a phone call to confirm. Again -- the installer was EARLY!!!! I had never heard of them, but I am sure glad they were mentioned to me! This is one of the discount carpet places that sells discontinued carpeting and it is so worth it! After visiting several different places and not being able to find anything even close to my existing carpet color, I walked in and was helped by Kay. She very quickly helped me find a similar color and quality product for my basement. she definitely knows her stuff! Not only that, but it was such a reasonable price! I think the only minimal downside was the carpet installers and their slight carelessness in getting the carpet into the basement. After forcing down a couple chunks of carpet where they scratched up the banisters and the front door they started folding it differently so that they could get it down easier in subsequent trips, but I would not say that they were extremely careful. One of the trips where one of the guys was trying to carry it down and it unrolled. Instead of going back up the stairs, re-rolling it and making it down without incident, instead they forced the carpet down the stairs. Not horrible, but not excellent either. For this I knock off a star. Dealing with everyone here was very easy, professional and there were no complications at all. Need carpet? I recommend this business highly! Go here first! The carpet meets my expectations and looks really nice!

We bought this house 7 months ago, knowing it needed a lot of work. We completed a major remodel this month with the floors as (almost) the final step. They were very respectful of our time and always let us know when they were coming. They worked long hours. We are very impressed with Jeff and his team as we had a parade of contractors over the last 5 months and most have been quite a challenge to say the least. They…read moreremoved tile in entry hall, sanded and refinished existing oak flooring in kitchen and dining area, changing the color to match the much lighter color that I chose for the family room, entry hall and dining room, and feathered the new floor into the existing wood flooring in kitchen. Dan listened well, did exactly what I asked, and he and Doug went above and beyond to minimize the mess that taking out a tile floor creates. David was very patient and helpful during the color selection, even though I was very anxious about making that decision, and he did a great job of staining in the custom color that I chose. The crew was very careful to leave no damage. The price was competitive. There were a couple of boards that I wasn't happy with and the problem was resolved to my satisfaction without my having to insist. Pryor really cares about customer service. I will definitely use them again in the future for any hardwood project.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Lifestyle Floors and Design and their (only…read morehardwood) subcontractor. Despite multiple assurances, the project was plagued with delays, unprofessional behavior, and unfinished work. Issues: Subcontractor was consistently (I should say always) late, missed multiple workdays, and provided numerous excuses and personal errands Work was left incomplete, and the quality of the work done was subpar. Also, attempts to resolve the issues with the co-owners, Laura and Donny Coram (this place switched owners sometime in October of last year), were met with excuses about the business being bankrupt or having no money. They claimed that a $2000 refund for unfinished (they ask you to pay in full) work was nearly impossible. Donny suggested asking to get funds from an insurance claim insurance or shorting employees to recoup the money, showing incredible hesitation to work with me on a simple refund. They insisted on keeping the same individual despite his incompetence while not being able to hire anyone else (or not wanting to). Lifestyle Flooring failed to deliver on their promises, causing financial loss. I strongly advise against using their services due to their poor management and lack of accountability.

We ended up needing a repair on some pieces of flooring in our living area with a lot of traffic; the owner refused to hire a crew to come fix it timely and correctly. Instead, he showed up to fix it MULTIPLE times and now my floor is worse off than ever. He used glue to fix the pieces that needed fixed. We'd reach out to ask them to honor their "lifetime warranty" and we'd hear nothing back. Once I mentioned small claims court, I got a response. By then, he was closed down. We will never go with a local owner again.
