He bought the business' hatdearned reputation and much to his advantage, two dedicated and skilled painters. The female crew member whose rural and empoverished homelife groomed her to see the ability to overextend herself as a sole source of worth, willingly suffered misogony via multiple channels including: pay despairity, various styles of verbal assault ranging from sexual harrassment to gas lit delineation of reality , and a disproportionate distribution of responsibility to her rather than her male counterparts. Distracted by forced deadlines, emphasis on speed rather than real craft and working for someone I could not respect, I was blindsided by bigotry while working on an exterior project at Don's residence. My soul's assailant: a large blackface lawn ornament laid out before me. Struck dumb by the hatred and bloody echoes eminating from the artifact, my heart revealed what my mind had veiled: Don's misogyny, his solicitation of skilled labor AND racism grew from a common source of evil no part of me would entertain much less assist. I quit soon after. No call no show. A resignation as shameful as my silence in the face of passive aggressive oppression. I failed as the mother of a black son, failed as the beloved daughter of Cincinnati's radical and self empowered feminist family and dishonored generations of dedication and skilled trade excellence. Thank you Yelp for providing this opportunity to warn potential clients of the dark and morally destructive entity living behind Don's jolly and childlike agreeability, vocabulary choices basic enough to mimic modesty, and low ball bids that secure the income earned off the backs of the very workers bearing the burden of his blindeyed, poorly planned and consistently inrealistic project deadlines.

Totally unprofessional and did not follow through on all promises. Did not paint walls behind washer and dryer in laundry room. Quality of work was very low. If I could make a sign and stand outside of his business to warn everyone about him and his terrible company and rude behavior I would. He definitely does not like children and we gave him complete freedom on the home to paint by leaving and he allowed such sloppy half assed work to be done. Paint was sprayed on my floors from brush strokes. Paint was on everything. They gave less than a 24 hour notice they were coming and definitely did not bother to cover anything when painting. Very disappointed in their work. Do not do not do not recommend to anyone. They made an already stressful thing a million times worse.

I had paint splatter all over my belongings. After they left I did a load of laundry. The sink overflowed because they left their rags in my utility sink. So I had to pull my washer and dryer out to clean up all the water on my floor. Then saw that they did not paint the bottom portion of the walls in the laundry room hoping I would just see above the washer and dryer painted and never know what couldn't be see was painted. The owner came back to fix it. We had a doorbell box on the living room that was painted by the previous owners. Now we have to paint it as well. We asked if they would please paint it while painting the living room walls. They did not. So I asked him to please do it while finishing the laundry room. He painted it the kitchen color. We pointed it out before he left and claimed he had to wait for it to dry and he will be back to fix it. Never came back never returned our calls. Left us with not paint left over from the living room to do it ourself. Irony is he told us a story about how he stood on the side of the road with a sign complaining about a car dealership and if he had an office I would have done the same I was so disappointed in being treated the way he treated us.
