Clean, the beds were comfy. The room could use some upgrades with USB and C ports and outlets by the desk. Other than that, it was quite pleasant. We were able to see the courtyard, the bridge and the icy water. We enjoyed the winter views. During our stay, each person who worked there were all helpful, friendly and welcoming. This time I visited for my birthday weekend with my family we arrived to our hotel room we were experiencing some technical issues with our television our wonderful staff member Muka helped us remediate the issue within seconds. She escorted us to our new room which was immaculately clean in the residence. She explained everything based on the house layout the house was amazing with a beautiful view I highly suggest if you don't stay in one of the Waterview rooms I suggest one of the beautiful houses that adorn the property the view in the winter is gorgeous I can only imagine the summer I'm truly shocked by the reviews I have to say although we didn't try the restaurant and decided to explore around town this establishment is in a beautiful location not far from Port Huron the rooms are handicap accessible it's beautiful I have to say I highly recommend checking this out it's a great wedding venue as well there's parking on the street as well as in the parking lot and it has some great historical sites. He might answer the phone and even ask you to text him when you're looking to stay because he isn't in the office. This is a fisherman's paradise. The parking lot out back is large enough to park your truck, boat and trailer. Fantastic!!! It get's better, they have a fish cleaning station and a trophy board for perfect picture opportunities. There is also power out at the parking lot so that you can charge your boat/trolling motor over night. SUPER CONVENIENT!! When staying here they make you feel like you're right at home. There is a common area with a tv, kitchen, dining room, shuffle board, ping pong table, books, board games and so much more. This is free for anyone to use while staying here. Our room was great. There was a sink, microwave and full size refrigerator/freezer, couch, tv and dining table in one large area. There was a separate bedroom and bathroom as well. I loved it. I highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Gross Ile! If you're a fisherman or guide you should really consider staying here. Book early because they fill up fast for the fishing season.
