Unbelievable! Curtious, fare rates ,and clean. Wore a mask and listens to your every need. He is diligent, thoughtful and respectful. Safe and calls ahead. Wants women passengers to know what he looks like. In addition, his cars make and license are shared -if asked. He is Self employed, but willing to drive out of range ,if you promise cash in-hand or good faith with full name. Trusts "cash in hand" before he sees cash, but he is no fool to scammers (beware) . A true "gentleman " and at my age of 40 , I'd choose him over competition. (5 stars). Very disappointed. I used his service because of the good reviews, so hopefully leaving a bad one will warn others to NOT use his service. Extremely rude and inappropriate!! Do yourself a favor and call an uber! In response to your comment: My mother is the one who used your service. I set it up for, because she is disabled and has Parkinson's. I understand your frustration with her lack of speed to get to your cab, but perhaps you could have been a little more understanding when you can clearly see she is disabled and using a walker. She complained that you were very rude, and scolded her about "what not to do, etc." I wouldn't have left a bad review, until the crossing guard in front of my house watched you treat her inappropriately by getting out and throwing her walker in our front yard. You could have easily set it in front of her on the side walk. The fact that the crossing guard felt the need to approach my husband and tell him how you treated her the next day is what lead me to write this review. I love the colony and support small business, but unfortunately I was very disappointed in your lack of service. read more

I call John The Colony cab driver everytime I need a cab. I call him directly first and only call the company if he's unavailable. His car is clean. He's clean. He drives safely. He's on time. He's American born...why is this important to me? I've been in others cabs where the drivers scared me with their iratic/bad driving learned in foreign countries where such things are OK. My criteria is...I want someone who drives safely and understands American driving laws, understands the language, is dependable, uses the air conditioning and is clean both in the car and how they keep themselves....You are trapped in a car with someone then you want them to smell clean...yes thats something we just assume is a given isn't it? But, never assume. To be fair, not all the foreign cab drivers are bad, some were very nice, but it's potluck who shows up and you can't control the outcome. In my experience I saw more bad than good when I blindly ordered a cab, so having a good, SAFE, regular driver with John is wonderful. You always know what to expect. The Colony, Little Elm, Frisco areas are hard to get a cab in, so it's a big plus to have someone who works this area on a daily basis and can arrive in an appropriate amount of time.
