I will say the ER department could use some help, nicer & more professional people but still good. But TODAY I unfortunately had a stillbirth & they still treated me the same as any other new mom. Once I was moved to L&D you'd think you were at an entirely different facility. I can definitely say they cherish & respect all mothers here in my eyes. Specifically this amazing & beautiful young lady named Jasiah. (maybe spelled it wrong sorry boo) she made this unfortunate experience so much easier for me it literally brought tears to my eyes because you hardly find people in the world like her nowdays. She was sweet, smart, encouraging, understanding & knowledgeable. Catered to me almost like her first child. I cried to her, she helped me walk when the other nurses just stared at me as if I'm being dramatic, she made sure I still had a piece of my heart to take home with me since I couldn't bring the life itself. I just wanna say thank you from the bottom of my heart i probably wouldn't be in a positive state of mind if it wasn't for her.

I have been to 2 different Concentra locations this year, both with work related injuries…read more One for a coworker who I took to a location in Arlington, Tx cut to his hand from a mitre saw... more recently I was taken to one in Carrollton, Tx with a work related injury, fall resulting in back injury. Both locations got us in quickly, processed us within a short amount of time, and had us both out the door, on the road home quickly. If I had been in Houston I would have been waiting for hours... urgent care in general, not any particular provider. Very pleased with the staff at both locations, on initial visits and follow up visits. I showed up at the appointed time for my follow up and basically walked in the door, signed in, turned the corner and was seen by the physical therapist immediately. I have another appointment tomorrow and expect to find the same service.

I'm here right now with my fiance who has epilepsy. I'm the one who manages his care, knows all of…read morehis medications, names of his doctors, has witnessed his seizures more times than I can count and he had a seizure at work (we work together) and they told us to take him to Concentra, they REFUSE to let me into the room with him. He is 100% unaware when he has a seizure, he's UNCONSCIOUS and is out of it when he's post-ictal. He may have broken his collarbone when he fell. He's not able to give consent when he's so out of it. An ER lets me stay beside his bed the entire time!! Id rather pay a million dollars at an ER than sit out here while he's back there having god knows what happening to him. I don't trust these a holes ... what are they hiding? He texted me and said he's completely alone. What if he has another seizure??? And they won't freaking let me go back there and be with him!! This isn't an ER, they're not monitoring him, he's not hooked up to anything... just back there on a gurney?? I'd like to bust in there and refuse to leave but I'm sure they'd have me arrested or something. Don't bring your loved one to this place unless you want to lose your mind in the waiting room.

I had a 2:10 appt and was seen in about 15 minutes. I have waited long periods of time in other offices. I really appreciate that. The nurses are nice and my physician Dr Lin is also very professional and knowledgeable.

Today I went back because my fever has not changed and I finished my antibiotics. I was refused another and told I was getting better because they didn't record a fever for me at the time of the visit, despite having run a constant low grade fever the night before. I was just told to continue taking medication to lower my fever (that hasn't worked so far) and that there's still antibiotic in my system. I definitely got the impression that the doctor during my second visit didn't care, and felt like my problems were being entirely blown off. At least there's very little wait time.

It was evident that she cared and that she had no problem with her patients taking their health into their own hands. I feel that I can tell her anything about my health without embarrassment. She is also the only doctor who has never insulted me for not being on birth control and did not pressure me to start it. Her open-mindedness and flexibility makes me value her opinion much more highly. Dr. Kumar was great to work with, intelligent, efficient, and did her best to make the most of what my insurance covers. The office made a referral for me to a rheumatologist and quickly sent my information over, and it was only a few days before the rheumatologist was calling me and ready to set up an appointment. I have lived in this neighborhood all my life and wish I had come to this office sooner! I will be staying put. I expect Dr. Kumar will be the best doctor I have had since I stopped seeing my pediatrician years ago. The office was tidy and clean and the staff was kind.
