We have lived in Fort Myers for almost 40 years. Today Isaac and Luis were here to take care of our pool. They did a great job! They noticed the pump was a little sluggish and they found that the filter was VERY dirty. They cleaned it thoroughly; then they took apart the filter with its coverings and washed that out, too. We are blessed to have them on our route. Sincerely, Eleanor Blitzer read more

They showed up bright and early and did the job quickly and professionally and the cost was less than the estimate.

Office staff was yelled and belittled while on phone getting a quote. Very unprofessional. Hung up phone and will not do business.

This company has handled all my pool challenges. They added railings so dad could use the pool. Others didn't dare to drill into the pavers. They smoothly converted my pool from chlorine to salt. Today, Jack and James identified my pool leak and dugout the cracked pipe and rerouted the problem at a very read price. I highly recommend them. Top quality!! read more

This company did a fantastic job on resurfacing our pool. We also had Colonial change our pool from choline to salt water. We love it! Mike and Jack are so great to work with! When the resurfacing of the pool started they were out there everyday checking on the progress. They also replaced our skimmer. The crews were very experienced and did great work. We were so impressed with their service and communication that we changed our pool service over to them. We highly recommend Mike and Jack w/Colonial Pools for all your pool needs, they are the best!!! read more

I have been taking care of two 55+ communities for a period of time in North Fort Myers. In the last few years we had changed pool services to Colonial Pool and Spa. This company is excellent, lead by team Jack our pool service has never been better. Under team Jack (GM) we have the very knowledgeable Michael as our pool tech. He has keep the pools clean, chemicals balanced, pool level perfect and if any problems he reports them to Jack. With this team work we have been able to pass inspections with no violations at all. We've used Colonial Pool for many years for their prompt service done right the first time. Recently we needed a new pool pump. Cassie in the service department worked tirelessly to obtain the proper sized pump to replace the old one. She did an exemplary job to make sure we got exactly what we needed. Thank you! read more

Update - The owner visited me and gave me a full refund plus apologized for the service provided.

I wanted to pass on a compliment about the pool attendant- Charles. He is doing a great job. Very attentive to how he is cleaning the pool, very thorough, and conscientious about balancing the chemicals correctly and cleaning the pool well. read more

Great service..Nate is the best and does an excellent job taking care of our pool! I would recommend Colonial pool and Nate to do your pool.

My husband and I shopped around for a pool company to remodel our 30-year-old pool. We wanted the pool completed by the time our family came in to visit. We needed new tiles, deck, coping, interior pool finish redone, lighting, equipment, and a new look. Jack not only had the pool ready a week early! Jack was also very responsive and answered our questions, even ones we forgot to ask. For example, he explained why the lighting should be on one side of the pool instead of both. In addition, Jack was personally at the job site on many occasions to ensure the crew was doing precisely what we planned. As a result, the team was fast and professional and cleaned the work area daily until they finished. As a result, we have a pool that looks like a model home, and we could not be happier. We highly recommend Colonial Pools for anyone who wants their pool remodeled. If we could give them 100 stars, we would. They are simply the best! read more

I want to thank David for bringing the weekly service to a higher level. Always open to questions and his friendly disposition makes it a pleasant experience. David is very knowledgable and goes above and beyond to resolve issues so they don't become major issues. Everyone in the office is always friendly and helpful also. Thank you Colonial Pools for once again providing superior service. read more

I worked for Robert Brownlee, Jr. for two weeks. I was not trained properly and was ultimately fired. He paid my first paid check out of office supplies, which is illegal. I have tried to contact me. Mr.Brownlee and he has blocked all emails associated with his business. I do not plan on getting another pay check him. He also adds hundreds to his quotes and makes excuses for the additions. read more

I have been a customer of Colonial Pools for 8 years. The thing I most appreciate is their friendly, helpful customer service and their knowledge about pools. Over 8 years, their weekly maintenance personnel have all been friendly and responsive to my requests. Over the years, their technical team has also installed a salt water filter system, a pool heater, fixed a pool leak and provided parts and repairs for all systems. We are now having our second heater installed after the old one gave out. They provided me with information that was helpful in making a decision about heater brands and will be here to install it within a couple of days of purchase. I would highly recommend them for regular maintenance, repairs and equipment maintenance. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Colonial! From the office staff to the tech, everyone was polite and helpful. They kept me abreast of when they would arrive and did a great job cleaning my spa. Recommend them highly. read more

Not professional. I called and talked to Teresa about installing handrails. She said that I should look at different types of railings. I called her back with the type that I had picked. Not in stock, so I asked if I could order it from a different company and have them install it. I did that and sent a photo. They sent me an estimate with the installation fees. The next day they called me back and said that they " talked" and decided not to install it as I undercut their prices. I told them, that I didn't get their prices. All I got was the estimate for the labor. " Oh, we were going to send that, but didn't" , so now we are not doing the project anymore and have a nice day. read more

I made an appointment for a person at the business to come to my home and give an estimate to install handrails on my new pool. I had even picked out the handrails I wanted at the store. The appointment was made for a Thursday from 8:00 am to 12:00 PM. I waited all day, and no one showed up or called. They apparently are not very honest or just don't care about people. I do not do business like this. read more

I had them service the pool to remove algae and debris. They quoted me $100 for the clean up. Attach are the pictures of the pool after the work was done. The invoice is $207.26. I emailed them and receive the response from Jill, indicating that she will forward my comment to Pam (I guess the supervisor) to resolve it. I waited for quite a while and receive no response from them. I called them again complaining about the service and again receive the same invoice. I gave up talking to this company and paid them to never see or talk to them again. Be aware about the tactic of bait and switch. I am NOT recommend this company and will spread the words to my neighbors in the community. read more

Promised job would be finished in 1-1/2 weeks, 2 at the most, lol, 6 months later.... workers negligently damaged the operation of my spa, owner attempted a quick fix by altering my plumbing system, no way! Now repair they left me with is so extensive may very well be left with permanent damage. Its not what Robert Brownlee and Jack the salesman says that counts, its the actions or the inactions they take. Very persuasive and manipulative. Worth the wait to go with a reputable company with owner who is less arrogant and who has the interest of the client at heart.... pass this one by. read more

Can't say enough how helpful staff (Taylor) was and the follow through to not only find the item I needed but get it in stock and available to pickup within 24 hours. Professional and friendly. Highly recommend for any needs!!! read more
