Fairways were forgiving but also required course management especially if you are a first timer. The clubhouse and staff (I believe is the family) were amazing. They made you feel like home. I will not go back. We were looking forward to this place so much. The building is very nice, but…read morethe management staff is rude, disrespectful, and terrible. We read the advertisements about this place and looked forward to their Halloween deals. When we walked in, I noticed a flyer advertising a different deal than what we originally saw. When I asked for more information, she proceeded to get disrespectful and rude with an attitude; she raised her voice to yell at us, saying, "You need to have the flyer. It's posted online. You need to print it off and have it with you." I attempted to de-escalate the situation because I was honestly thrown off by the random disrespectful attitude toward us. I let her know we were unaware and just inquiring. While we decided to stay and enjoy our time, we will not be going back while Kim is there; she does not need to be in a position of management or working with people. Please note, it does not say we need to print it off ANYWHERE. We went back and checked. If ownership wants to make this right, either remove Kim or have her change her ways and call me with an apology, because that was unnecessary. I also took note she only seemed to do this with one particular race. Everyone else that did it, she had no problem with and treated kindly.

This 14,000 square foot complex opened in 2008 on land donated by the city. It's not a great neighborhood in terms of smooth roads or potholes though it's near what I would call the "loft" district surrounded by more expensive condos and fancy restaurants. There is plenty of parking. The park has flat bars, quarter pipes, a concrete platform with ledge and a 8' deep concrete bowl. It is surrounded by 8 foot wrought iron fencing and a bunch of benches inside. The place is covered with graffiti but I think it adds to the charm. Bring your skateboard, BMX bike or scooter and do whatever it is that kids do here. Tip: Please wear a helmet for safety, mkay? [Review 15091 overall, 593 of 2021, number 1307 in Virginia.]
