The course is very challenging and the greens are fast. Be prepared to lose a few balls, but have a lot of fun. Our favorite golf tournament is in April to help raise money for the local SPCA. It's a good time and for a good cause. You don't need a membership at Kinderton to play in this one. If you know someone who is a member you can come to the pool and pay a guest fee of $5 a person. The pool has a diving board and kid pool. There is a nice deck to host a birthday party and outside changing area and shower. For those visiting, I'm not sure if they will do a week pool guest pass, but it would be something to ask about and they should consider if they don't offer. There is a life guard on duty and the best part they have adult swim times! Not many choices in the area for pools, tennis and golf, but they do have a good facility.

Only to receive a text back saying, the board banned me from the property for 2yrs because I mentioned bringing a gun onto the property. To show you how "blacks" are viewed, I never said no such thing and no one ever asked for my truth. Instead, automatic ban. I've been complaining since new management took over how the people being allowed on the course are not following course rules, and how disrespectful the seem to be towards myself and my golfing buddies that are also members. I said to HER, "it has gotten so bad (the disrespect) that I feel like I have to play a round a golf with my gun in my bag, and that I didn't want to be part of an organization that'll how me feeling this way. And there was a witness! Instead I'm banned from the property because the BOARD could care less for its miniority members. GOLF IS A GENTLEMENS SPORT. AT KINDERTON COUNTRY CLUB, THEY MEAN ONLY WHITE GENTLEMEN.

It's overcooked and bland. Perhaps some could say the fare is homely ... but you could do better at your own home ... with a microwave. All that being said, the Club House is an important hub for people who live around here, and I wouldn't wish to knock that. But the pretensions that it is a good eatery are just silly.

Fantastic layout with a good amount of water coming into play. I could play here dozens of times…read moreand not get tired of it. May be walkable on a nice day. But the conditions were just okay. They seem to be fighting another strain of grass creeping into some of the fairways. Greens were pure though. Members don't seem to fill their divots or rake the bunkers which is sad. (One also decided to slam his car door into my car when I was in it. No reaction from him.) Nice grass driving range and putting green. Didn't see a chipping green or bunker area. I will definitely be back but will park away from everyone else. 1 almost drivable par 4. Favor the right side off the tee. 2 beautiful hole with water up the left side. 3 brutal, winding par 5. I'd say driver is not the play off the tee, but your second shot has to be far enough up the second fairway to have a shot at the green. 4 intimidating par 3 over water. 5 cool looking split fairway par 4 that climbs the hill. Green has a big elevation change in the middle. 6 dogleg right par 5. Third shot you'll see the stone wall and creek that guard the green. 7 downhill par 3 with a huge green with a ridge cutting off the right third of it. 8 uphill par 4 with an elevated green that's hard to hold. 9 you really have to thread your drive and favor the right side. 10 beautiful dogleg right with a second shot down the hill. You'll also see all the water that'll come into play later in your round. Just beautiful. 11 uphill par 5. Driver off the tee except for the longest players. 12 fantastic looking hole. Well bunkered downhill par 4 with the second shot over water. 13 tough downhill par 3. Your view of the green may be obstructed which is a different but fun feature. 14 I've never seen this many bunkers on a drivable par 4, but the fairway is very generous left of them. 15 I hope you hit a cut off the tee. Toughest par 4 in my opinion. 16 great par 5 along the water. 17 couldn't even make the bunkers from the tips with a well hit 3 wood. I hit land then it bounced back in the water. Only reason why I don't think playing the tips are for me here. 18 from the back tees, I couldn't see any of the landing area. That is a tough tee shot. The green doesn't get any easier with a big slope in the middle of it.

This might be my favorite course layout wise. The course from the back tees play just over 6000…read moreyards but with several dog leg holes it makes accuracy a premium. That, or you need to have confidence in your driver to cut the dog leg off. There are a lot of elevation changes as well. The course is not the most manicured course I've played but the greens were very good except one that looked to be fairly recently redone. ( club house attendant said they had redone all the greens in the last 3 years ). Some of the tee boxes grass was a little long as well. Most of the bunkers were in good shape. Don't let the minor negatives keep you from playing the course though. The club house attendant said the course was purchased from a foreclosure so I assume they are having to bring the course back. They are on the right track. Staff was great and talkative. Price was very reasonable and included cart rental. I will play this course again anytime I am back for work!

You can go online and find really good prices on tee times. You may not get the times you want, but you will get the price you are looking for. You will also get a few par 5 holes and a par 6. Con- too many people. We were all sitting for 20 minutes on the back tees and it takes at least an extra hour on this course if not an hour and a half. The greens are also really hard and the tee boxes don't have a lot of grass because the course is played so much. I guess it's a good problem to have for the golf course, but if you are looking to play a few quick holes and head back to the house... It's not going to happen. You will need at least five hours for this course. All and all its a good course and I recommend it, but I don't make special trips just to play this.
