My sister had her car repaired here after hitting a deer. Her local mechanic (who had been maintaining the car for years) inspected the car thoroughly and found that all fluids were full and there were no leaks whatsoever before delivering the car to Collision Specialists. After a lengthy delay due to shortage of parts, my sister finally got her car back around Christmas. After only 25 or 30 miles, the engine light came on and the car started smelling hot so she stopped driving the car and had a friend check the engine oil as well as the transmission oil. The trans oil was about 1 quart low. My sister's mechanic then inspected the car and discovered that the engine had blown - most likely a spun engine bearing. I called Collision Specialists and was told that they did not make any repairs to the coolant or transmission cooler lines and that they never had this happen in 30 years of being in business.
