We thought that wasn't a good business practice, but he successfully fixed our hot tub and told our go-to hot tub service company that he was trying to steal business from them. We called him out another time for a repair, but he outsourced someone else to fix our hot tub who actually made the issue worse by breaking the threading off a component. He attached a part that wasn't even compatible with our hot tub. There's a 1 year warranty clause on the invoice, but Marco never returned our call after weeks of calling. So we spent over $1000 for this scam. We tried to look up the certification he sent us and noticed that his certification number was crossed off. Seems like he's hiding something because we couldn't verify anything about him. Bottom line, he's not consistent or trustworthy and has slimy business practices. You can call any other hot tub maintenance company around Big Bear and Blue Star/Marco has a bad reputation for this. You'll end up spending even more money and wasting time hiring Blue Star/Marco. Work with anyone else but this place!

They said they care about people and want to share their knowledge with people so households can manage there own pools. Today I text them and ask if when they come next time if they can try too vacuum a little more because there was a lot of dirt and debris still on the bottom of the pool and they respond saying they can no longer service my pool. I'm like what?? I asked why? is it because I asked you to vacuum more next time? They said management made a decision not to service my pool the day after they left which was Tuesday. I said that doesn't make sense can you at least tell me what chemicals to continue with and not leave me hanging and they responded saying to call a pool professional! They might treat existing long time customers well but new ones no! Stay away just a warning . I had given them a post dated check for services also! I have asked them for the phone number to their district manager so I can call and speak to them about this experience they declined to provide information. I don't want others going through this. Perry told me that he would be by today, and sounded friendly on the phone, and happy to assist. I sent him my address as requested, and not a world back, and 10 hours later no show. I understand people get busy but communication, and letting us know you could not have make it would have been the right thing to do as a business owner. I am glad he did not show after all because if this is how he operates, I can only assume the quality of work could be in question too.
