Haven't been a customer of Dr. Jay for over 20 years I switched to his brother when Jay retired. As I always did with Dr. Jay, I walked in to see the doctor spoke to the woman at the front desk and then had a seat. For sitting in the waiting room she proceeds to tell A patient who is checking out how "this guy just walked in... I hate walk-ins". Not being able to believe what I had just heard I said to her "would you like me to walk out" and she replied I don't care... You do this all the time. She then began arguing with me about it claiming how she told me she does not except walk in's. No I'm not a genius but I do have a relatively somewhat functioning brain and I know for a fact had someone told me they do not except walkins I would not have driven all the way up to Kingston to "walk in". Dr. Marc came out while we were going back-and-forth and she says to the doctor "this guy wants to talk to you about me" the doctor looked at me and then laughed kind of nervously and walked back into the back offices. The woman continue to carry on now starting with me about my insurance company telling me that they are not paying the bill...... I have excellent insurance and my deductible has been met so I asked her to please give me a copy of whatever they sent her declining payment so I can forward it to the insurance company. She refused (because the claim she put in was only about a month old and I know it takes longer than that to pay these things out) but she continued yelling screamed at me that she doesn't want to argue with me and then told me to leave. I can only assume this woman must be a relative or maybe married to the doctor because I don't understand how anybody would keep such an unprofessional, rude and condescending woman employed. I honestly thought she might be insane and the doctor was doing her a favor by keeping her working. Long story short... I will never return to this office again.... It's so sad because Dr. Marc is excellent and Dr. Jay was the best. I will not however subject myself to being treated like this ever again. It's very sad.

I've had minor chiropractic care in the past, but it doesn't compare to the thorough and gentle approach at Harmony Chiropractic. A friend suggested I make an appointment with chiropractor Dr. Lisa Malfucci to see if she can help. I emailed, then called Dr. Malfucci and she was quick to respond. The office space is near Grand Central which is easy to get to. The building is corporate, but the space Dr. Malfucci uses is very professional and clean. After filling out an extensive intake form, Dr. Malfucci asked me a series of questions about my health - not just the pain in my neck. I was pretty impressed because the last chiropractor I went to made me feel rushed and just wanted to quickly address the issue. What separated Dr. Malfucci from the other chiropractor I've been to is that she takes a more gentle approach - doing a through muscle assessment and body scan and combines massage therapy into her session. She didn't just get in their and "crack" things, she carefully took the time to find out what was causing the root of my pain - specific muscles - supraspinatus and subscapularis were the culprits. I've had electro stim in the past, but what was GREAT about this place is that Dr. Malfuccia actually gave me a hands on massage targeting all of the pain in my neck and shoulder as the electro stim session was going on. When I had electro stim in the past, the doctor just attaches the electrodes and leaves you sitting. Dr. Malfucci gave a wonderful massage and was present throughout this. Afterwards, the pain in my neck was reduced by 90%, allowing me to get back to being active and function once again. Not only was Dr. Malfuccia effective, her holistic and gentle approach towards chiropractic care really made a difference. She is also very easy to talk with and makes the whole experience great. I will definitely be back.
