We are in the process of remodeling our downstairs bathroom. We had a contractor come in who gave…read moreus an estimate and then set us loose to go find tiles and accessories for the bathroom. For the most part I am a practical person. . . But sometimes I like to go a bit above and beyond. Our friend recommended that we make an appointment with the designer at 84 Lumber. That is what we did. The showroom is on the top floor and let me say that their designs are beautiful. I was honest and told the designer, Kristin, that I didn't have an idea in mind but I would know what I wanted when I saw it. I'm sure for a designer those words are frustrating to hear. However, she was extremely patient with me. She started showing me samples. At first I was like . . ."wellllll these are nice . . .but not me." Then BAM! I saw it! The tile I knew was meant for me! I started getting excited! Kristin saw where my mind was going and started pulling tile to accompany the one I picked for the shower walls. It became apparent that I am big on texture. I wanted texture everywhere! In a little over an hour I had picked shower tile, accent tile for the shower, shower floor tile, bathroom floor tile and grout. I was beyond happy with my choices. I asked the designer what she thought of my choices and she said they were very nice. My husband said, "you have to say that!" She said that if she had not liked a choice I was making or thought it didn't flow she would have tried to steer me in a different direction. That was nice to know. I know that my tastes are different than most peoples. I don't want what everyone else has. It was nice to know though, that she would have been honest if my choices didn't look nice together. Our tile is ordered and will be in soon. I can't wait to see the finished product!!! Now, of course I want to remodel my main bathroom . . . . . LOL

Crown Steel said the customer walked away and had put down $8000. We were told we would get a great deal because they needed to move it out. We were never told that the down payment was non-refundable. Suppose it was in the fine print. In thinking things through we decided the logistics of having a quanset hut wasn't feasible for us as an older couple. We called Crown Steel and they said they don't normally refund deposits but to write an email letter and they would consider it since we hadn't ordered a custom quanset. We did and we never heard from them again. They collected $3700 from us for doing nothing.

I took it off, cleaned it, and when I went to put it back on it fell off the deck. We were unable to find it. so off I went to find a replacement. This is the store I found. They not only had a replacement nozzle, it was a nozzle that had a bigger opening to let you get your job done quicker!!! Who wouldn't love that??? The gentleman who was helping us was very nice. He chatted with us a little bit. I wish I had more time to look around the store because they had a lot to look at. We saw stone facing outside and we looked at it because we want it on the lowest section of our home where the concrete is. We will definitely go back to buy it from there.
