I also paid for their best warranty called the GOLD WARRANTY, which is good for 50 years. This job was done six years ago, so the faulty installation of the drip edge should have been covered. They did not install the drip edge correctly, and they will not pay for the repairs that I had to have done, which came to $2,242.02. They nailed the drip edge into the molding and the facia, but it should have been nailed into what they call the decking or the underlayment. I watched a GAF video that showed that the nailing should have been other than what they did, but they would not pay for the repairs that I had ti have done and paid for already. I sent them several pictures of their faulty work and the repairs that are under way. They refused to give me any satisfaction. They said that they didn't do anything wrong, so I sent them a GAF video on how to install the drip edge, which showed that they installed it wrong. I spoke to GAF several times, but they assured me that it was not their fault, which I totally agree with. It was the installers - Coastal Carolina Roofing Experts. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau of North Carolina to file a complaint with them. We paid good money for their GOLD WARRANTY, but it was a waste of money, because they would not honor it, even after they told me that THE WARRANTY DID COVER "MATERIAL AND INSTALLATION." I paid $16,638 for this roofing job back in 2019. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY. I tried to call the telephone numbers at the top of our contract with them; two of them were disconnected and the other one was a car dealer in Toronto, Canada! GOOD LUCK!

Before Sean's inspection, we were advised of the initial inspection cost and were able to schedule a specific date/time to meet him at the property. We were definitely impressed by his professionalism. His structural report provided us with the data needed to negotiate an appropriate purchase price for a house with deferred maintenance. After our purchase, Sean and his crew got to work immediately to repair structural damage, install an efficient drainage system and seal the crawl space. With the wet spring we've had this year, we've learned our new sump pump runs 24/7! I think we've discovered the fountain of youth under our house! Sean's always been responsive and worked to resolve the additional moisture issues. All covered by his initial quote, so he stands by his work. There have been times when Sean's shown up unannounced; however, it's always been for something we've requested. As long as he's following up with us, I'm ok with his unscheduled visits, because it means the work is being done. Bottom line, if you want it done right, you better call Sean!
