This place is so bad. Ever since I have came here all I have had is problem after problem with…read morethese people. My flat was mouldy. All up the walls and all in the shower. The flat smelt. Everywhere was so dirty we went through cloths and cloths to clean this place. I got given a broken fridge and a broken freezer which then I wasted £160 on food because it all went bad and it took them weeks to get my fridge sorted and my girlfriends dad gave me a freezer which then at first they told me I had to remove straight the way because they didn't get me one. There rules are bad too. They don't care about you and all they care about is there money. Which they should have checked before someone moves in here. They say everything they do here is to help you but really you have no freedom which you should have as an adult you can't have guests round until 5 o'clock which isn't beneficial and young children cat come over which is bad because I have really young family members. My family would not be able to come around because there would have been more than two people here in one go. At first they would let themselves into my flat without me knowing the staff here don't care about you at all they can be very rude. When they found out my girlfriend was pregnant with my baby they didn't congratulate or anything they just said okay bye. It's taken them over a month to come and sort out my mould everything is so delayed. Neighbours here are always so loud when I try to explain something they choose not to listen to me. I really do not recommend this place. I tell my 16 plus worker to help me out and I don't think they listen to her either it isn't fair at all Do Not Come Here

I stayed for one night in this "hotel" whilst visiting family. Having reached the age of 54 I have…read morestayed in many good and not so good establishments. I am usually only moved to write reviews when they are good but on this occasion I felt it was only right to warn others about this awful hotel. The place stank of cigarettes meaning that they were either not sticking to the legal requirements or that they had not cleaned the soft furnishings since these requirements came into being. The wallpaper was torm. The curtains falling off the window. It was not possible to open the window for much needed ventilation due to secondary double glazing. Even the bathroom smelt of smoke- it was like sleeping in an ashtray. There was no duvet although the sheets seemed clean. The top sheet was covered by a disgusting old blanket and on top of this was a dirty looking coverlet. This hotel has not been decorated since at least the 90's and I have no idea how it achieved 4 stars from the English tourist board. If it hadn't been late at night when I arrived then I would definately have looked elsewhere. The charge was £40 per night WITHOUT breakfast. There are much better hostels. I decided not to have breakfast as the smell of cooking oil from the kitchen was off putting. The landlady although co-operative was clearly unhappy receiving a late night arrival berating me for not phoning first despite the fact that her receipt had no phone number on it! If you are thinking of staying here- be warned!! I do hope the English tourist board will contact this awful version of Fawlty Towers! Mrs. G Davies
