We usually do our own photos, but wanted to take the opportunity while in Maui to let him relax and have someone else take our photos for once! We've only ever hired professional photographers twice before in our 20 year marriage so choosing Cynthia was a big deal. We were both happy with what we saw from her online portfolio and reviews, and once I emailed her she was very responsive to any questions I had. The actual shoot went really well. She was really easy going and professional and made the shoot comfortable and enjoyable for all of us. Even my kids, age 6 and 9, said the photo shoot was fun! She delivered the photos in a week's time and we love them! We had a really great experience working with Cynthia and highly recommend her.

We take…read morefamily photos every single year, so we have high expectations and are pretty experienced at this. I am usually very happy with how our photos turn out, but the images Cynthia captured are hands-down the best family photos we have ever had. When we knew we would be in Maui this fall, I was determined to have our family photos done there. After searching Yelp and reviewing photographers, I came across Cynthia's work and immediately fell in love with her style. I reached out for a quote and she responded the very next day. From the start, she was friendly, informative, and incredibly easy to work with. Once we booked, she sent several location options, and we chose Napili Bay. It ended up being the perfect spot for our family. On the day of the shoot, Cynthia was warm, kind, and so much fun to work with. She made the entire experience feel relaxed and effortless, and she was especially wonderful with our nine-year-old son, easily coaxing genuine smiles and making him feel comfortable the whole time. The final photos absolutely blew us away. Not only are they stunning, natural, and full of personality, but Cynthia also went back into the images and removed strangers from the beach so it looked like we had the entire beach to ourselves. On top of that, we received all of the digital images to keep, which was such a huge bonus. She was also super affordable, even by Hawaii standards, and truly worth every penny. If you are considering booking a photo session in Hawaii, do yourself a favor and book Cynthia. You will not regret it. We will treasure these photos forever.

I looked at the fantastic photos on her website and agreed. She was easy to get in contact with. We had a phone conference for about an hour the month before to nail down exactly what my husband and I wanted, and met with her briefly the day before the ceremony to iron out the details. Jessica was fabulous. She was professional and made us (such awkward people!) comfortable. Each of our 10 wedding guests mentioned to me how much they liked her and what a great job she was doing. The pictures are unbelievable. She was ready to go at 2AM for the sunrise and we followed up the next day with a trash the dress shoot. Her choice in locations was flawless. We showed a 5 minute youtube video she put together of photos at our reception back home and our guests were floored. We got a lot of comments along the lines of "most amazing wedding photos I have ever seen." I don't know how we are going to limit the number of photos in our album, but I guess that is a good problem to have!

The communication was also excellent--they responded quickly whenever I had questions or concerns. When I received my photos, I wasn't completely happy with all of them. They happily retouched the photos I requested and even upgraded my photo package, which I really appreciated. Their willingness to make things right showed that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction.
