We have been customers for decades. The service has always been over the top wonderful until a day ago. I needed a replacement collar strap for a Sport Pro system we purchased in 2019. "Vanessa" claimed I could not have purchased the unit from them. Even after I gave her our account number, invoice number, and item number, pictures, etc., she still claimed I could not have purchased from them. So, after asking for something compatible and receiving no response, I Googled and got my own info and relayed it to her. Again, no effort or helpfulness from "Vanessa". It's too bad the wonderful small businesses get sold to bigger companies who in turn hire ignorant, lazy customer service reps. Needless to say that I will never be doing business there again. I bought the Dogtra 1900S from collar clinic..It is VERY bulky and uncomfortable for the dog.It is recommended to wear it high up on the back of their neck and it has to be VERY tight to stay in place. It stopped working after less then 30 days. I didn't begin to use it for about a month after I received it. It took me a while to reach out and ask what my options are..... The only option is to ship it to California for repairs and pay for the shipping and wait 2-3 weeks....I am not pleased with the quality of the product and I would say customer service is non existent from Dogtra..I am going to purchase a mini educator elsewhere.... read more

Duck season was fast approaching and I had been procrastinating sending my Dogtra duel dog collars in for repairs. Checked their user friendly web site printed out the repair sheet and called to confirm a couple of requests. Rick was very helpful and the entire repair and transaction took 7 days. Collars came back and everything was perfect. They even put a new Orange collar on the number 2 dog unit. These guys are in the customer service biz and it shows. A very professional operation. I purchased an expensive training/tracking collar and when I got it home, it looked like it had been tampered with. It also did not work properly and the compass function would calibrate at all. I took it back and they exchanged it for a different model, no questions asked.
