I went here for the 3 years I lived in Ontario, and I can't say enough good things about this practice. They are the rare medical practice that has it all - friendly, efficient staff, top notch preventative care and patient education as well as treatment, and very competent administrators, so you don't have to worry about billing hassles with your insurance after your appointment is over. What's more, if you make an appointment, there is no waiting around in the office forever to see someone - they saw me at the scheduled time or within a few minutes thereof every single time I went there, even the time or two that I was a few minutes late!
The staff is so nice - they make an effort to get to know all patients by name, and they are always friendly and helpful.
The techs and the dentist do a good job with preventative care and do a great job of educating patients - for example, of explaining the long-term importance of scaling to remove plaque along the gumlines. What's great is that they do all of this with an eye to costs and what your insurance will cover - for me, since I had an annual cap on coverage, they set up a preventative schedule that was both medically sound and able to be covered, in its entirety, by my dental insurance. We made a plan to split some of the preventative work over 2 coverage years, for example, so I wouldn't have big out-of-pocket expenses.
Not-so-pleasant treatments like fillings were done efficiently, and I didn't have tenderness at the novocain injection site as I have with some other dentists.
Additional bonus: Dr. Day is also well-versed in some cosmetic dentistry. I did Invisalign through him, and I am happy with the results.
If I still lived in Ontario, I'd still be going to Dr. Day. As it is, I am still trying to find a dental practice that can hold a candle to this one. They set the standard and they set it high. read more
