I had a fantastic and very thorough hour long consultation which included images taken of my teeth and an exam with the very nice D John Bozek himself. I was advised of all the different options open to me, and what to expect along the way (timeline of the braces and cost of the various treatment options) It was a great visit, and the consultation was completely free. I chose to go ahead with Invisalign and within 3 weeks I was back at the office to have the braces fitted, that went great. Ann who fitted them that day and has looked after me at all of my subsequent visits so far, is simply fabulous, I really look forward to my visits back to see her, she is professional, informative and caring and takes great time to explain everything and answer any questions. I am 4 months into my Invisalign journey now and I am so happy that I did it, I am starting to notice the changes in my teeth already, I find living with the braces straightforward and very manageable and I like the freedom that they afford. I love everything about my experience with Bozek Orthodontics, and I am glad I chose them, I will be choosing them again to provide my children braces. I came to Discover Orthodontics in hopes of straightening out my teeth as they moved after having…read morebraces in high school. I chose Discover because I was a patient of Dr. Bart's in the past, and really thought he provided great service and care. I was able to do a virtual consultation, where I submitted photos of my bite into a portal. Within less than 24 hours, I had a response from Dr. Bart himself, saying I was a candidate for Invisalign, in which Dr. Bart is a Diamond Invisalign provider. With this, I also received a quote for how much it would cost, and how many weeks of treatment it would roughly take. I found this to be so impressive because from a virtual consult, I got all the answers I was looking for. Easy and done! I got my initial scan, in office, in August. The staff are always lovely, helpful, and you can tell they take great pride in their work space. It's spotless. With COVID restrictions, of course masks are required, but they also take temperatures, have moved chairs in the waiting room appropriately, and to be honest, I have never had a patient sit in the chair beside me. My treatment is not finished quite yet, but when it is I'll be sure to update this review with my final final thoughts. I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Bart and Discover for your orthodontic needs!

Their services are always done in a hygienic and timely manner and I never felt like I left unknowing something about my treatment. They also offer little goodies like hand sanitizer and chapstick that made the process of going to the dentist more enjoyable and easy. Everyone from the screener at the front, to the receptionists, to the financial head, and all the dentists and dental hygienists are extremely friendly. Time went by quickly during all my appointments there and I felt good. Overall, I would recommend Red Hill to anyone looking for an orthodontist.

When I was at the desk they called it a "deductible". Insurance company confirmed this was the actual charge. Reception Ashley/Kim refused to admit wrongdoing and place the onus on the insurance company. I was given the "too bad, so sad" response. My insurance covers 100% so I knew these people were pulling charges from nowhere. In a nutshell, they lied to me and took no accountability for their actions. PS they take your picture if you're a new patient... I found that to be creepy. Don't go here!!!!

When I was 12 years old I was told I needed braces. After being referred to another orthodontist in…read moreHamilton, I was told I would need jaw surgery before getting the braces (I had a bit of an overbite). My parents refused to do the surgery at such a young age and I tried another orthodontist about 4 years later. This orthodontist also would not work on me without referring me to a surgeon so I, again, suffered with crooked teeth for 4 more years! Finally, at age 20, my boyfriend told me about his orthodontist, and I went to see Dr. Schacher. Right away I was told that surgery was unnecessary and was given multiple options as to how I could acquire braces and fix my bite without extensive surgery. I was given x-rays and molds of my teeth and eventually, a plan was given to me on how we would straighten my teeth. Dr. Schacher started out by having me wear a "bite plate" for 6 months. What this is, is basically a small wire bar that goes across the roof of your mouth, with a little piece of plastic preventing you from biting down too far. Eventually, when the bite plate is removed, your bite is how it should be!! While I had my bite plate, I was referred to an oral surgeon named Dr. Boyko, who removed my wisdom teeth as well as two others in the front (teeth need to be removed before braces to allow for more room for the teeth to move). After my mouth healed from my teeth being removed, I had my bite plate removed and finally got my braces. For almost 3 years I had braces and finally got them taken off in January of 2011. I am extremely happy with the results and truly believe that it wouldn't be possible without Dr. Schacher! Now, aside from the Orthodontist himself, the environment of his offices (he has 3) are so extremely friendly, you won't want to leave. You walk in and are instantly welcomed by his amazing receptionists and other employees. Everyone understands your needs and caters to them any way they can. They have flat screen TVs in front of the dental chairs so you can watch Disney movies while you have work done during your appointment (it is always Disney movies playing as most people with braces are much younger than I was when I had mine). They are currently working on installing a movie theatre inside the Barton Street (Stoney Creek) office, just like Dr. Schacher's other office in Brantford. You can get different colour elastics for your braces so your teeth can be a different colour after each appointment. Even though I was in my 20s while I had braces, I still took advantage of the colour options (what can I say, you can actually have fun with this!). I truly believe that if you or your child needs braces, you should give Dr. Schacher a chance. I could have had braces when I was 12 years old and didn't, because I had never heard of this amazing man and my other referrals obviously aren't as experienced as Dr. Schacher is. I should also mention that the fee you pay for his services is never going to grow. You decide upon a cost for your procedures and that is what you pay. If you break your bite plate, braces or retainers, you will get them replaced for free. The only additional fees you may encounter will be for referrals to the oral surgeon if you also need teeth removed.

Fast forward couple years later Dr. Schacher has fixed my teeth without any of the above. The whole experience was amazing, the team is so friendly and helpful. No surgery, and incredibly accommodating. They even have a literal movie theatre as their waiting room for patients with the same movie playing on screens all around the office. I can't recommend it enough.
