I was introduced to colesville travel by a person that used them for a new york trip. Colesville offered a trip to Africa. We were initially charged a rate to pay for the entire trip package. We were told several months later that the charge of the trip increased four hundred dollars, but they would give us a two hundred dollar deal due to africa's transportation expenses. When we arrived in ghana, inquiries were made, and it was indicated that since the trip was paid in u s dollars and not the country's currency, Cedes, there was no need for Colesville travel agency to request additional money from their customer. In addition, other inquiries were made by other travel agencies about the same practice. We were told that once the initial price and down payment have been quoted and made, there is no need for a travel.Agency to request months later, for more money for the trip. There were so many disappointing factors and dealing with Colesville, i.e., incomplete international travel information; itinerary updates when there were changes; impatient when asking questions; lack of concern when there were delays in travel and follow up to know if we were okay at our lodging. The trip was great, but it was due to the host company's in Africa. Their tour guide and driver was great professional and protective.Ensuring that lodging and everything that we did was timely and pleasant. If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Cindy is the most insensitive travel agent I have ever experienced. Initially, all was going well during the planning of my trip until my 80 year old mother and 84 year old father arrived in Athens, Greece. I even thanked her via email for helping me plan the trip on the day they began travel. ....little did I know what was to come. First, their room on the ship had a huge boat on their balcony. Cindy and I specifically discussed a FULL view balcony. Cindy booked whatever she wanted. Be warned when booking hotels through her. She will give you an enormous bill with ZERO breakdown of how much room rates, taxes and fees are. Till this day I don't know if I paid for my room plus other guest or not. She REFUSED to give me an itemized bill showing room rates and when asked she said she doesn't know what the room rates are. The bill she charged me is almost double the rates listed for the room she reserved. At one hotel the room didn't even have a window. She said the room was $400-$600 per night. That is not accurate by hotel management nor every website associated with the hotel. There's more... my parent's flight was scheduled back home to leave Barcelona Spain at 9am. Cindy scheduled their transportation to pick them up at 9am. Thank God we caught that mistake early. Zero apologies from Cindy for the inconvenience. Finally, she booked my SENOR parents on a return trip from Spain to Kennedy airport in NYC and a CONNECTION from LaGuardia to their home in Ft. Lauderdale with a 2.5 hour time in between. Again, the panic when we realized she didn't have their connection flight from the same airport. I called her the day of travel to see if she could help fix this mistake...no response. I never heard a word from her until 3 days later when I wrote her an email to voice my disbelief in her lack of response. Again, not a single apology. Her response was, "they could have just taken a cab to the other airport!!" She INTENTIONALLY booked and expected my 80+ year old parents to land in Kennedy, get all 6 pieces of their luggage, go through customs, find a car service and travel to LGA (during rush hour), check back in, find wheel chair service, check their bags and get to the gate in 2.5 hours. Insane!!! I understand there is human error involved in any aspect of business. It was Cindy's lack of empathy, failure to even apologize and acknowledge her mistakes that was most disheartening. You hire a travel agent so you don't have to manage every detail of your trip. If you go against most of the reviews listed here and use her...TRIPLE check your trip. I would like to share my recent experience with Cindy, CEO of Colesville Travel as a word of caution to potential travelers. I recently had the privileged of visiting London and Paris, and I must say it was far from the dream vacation I had anticipated. While everyone hopes for a seamless vacation planning process, unfortunately, that was not the case with this particular travel agent. From the very beginning, Cindy demonstrated a lack of professionalism and poor customer service, which should have been a red flag! It became evident that she was unorganized and did not prioritize her clients' needs once we paid our deposit and the draft itinerary was sent to us. Cindy failed to provide accurate information about our trip to Paris and London, leading to a series of mishaps during our trip. Before our trip, Instead of Cindy sending all of the information in one email, we received the itinerary and several emails with different attachments for the trip. Even while on the trip, we were still receiving parts of the itinerary. Documents we asked for before we left the U.S., which made it a tad confusing. We reached out to Cindy in regards to the transportation to and from the airports and training station stating we would not have adequate room for ten people, plus the number of luggage we would have. She ensured us that the two vehicles would be large enough to accommodate all of us plus our luggage. Well, it wasn't! Each time we were picked up, we had to cram our luggage in these vehicles, to include holding some of it. At one location we had one car and one van pick us up. This was clearly not enough room. We had to pay for an Uber to ensure everyone was able to get to the train station. Although our accommodations weren't bad, we were in undesirable areas. Neither of the accommodations were centrally located. We had to spend additional time and money on transportation to reach the major attractions and experience the true essence of London and Paris, which could have been avoided with proper planning and organization on the part of the agent. It was frustrating to be situated far from the vibrant heart of the cities, making it challenging to immerse in the beauty and culture. Our accommodations in Paris were located next to the Ukraine Embassy, which was not safe for us considering the current events happening in Ukraine. The heavy police presence made it incredibly challenging to secure a taxi and get around the area smoothly. As a traveler, convenience and ease of transportation are key factors in determining the success of a hotel stay. It would have been helpful if the travel agent had provided this information beforehand, allowing us to make an informed decision or request alternative accommodation options. London - Cindy scheduled the Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath with Entrances and Free Time tour on a Tuesday, which we were unable to experience the full tour due to Windsor Castle being closed. As the travel agent, Cindy should have rearranged our itinerary to ensure we were able to experience everything that was promised to us for this trip. Paris - Cindy made a crucial error by scheduling a boat trip on the wrong day. We were excited about the dinner cruise on the Seine River as we were celebrating one of the couple's anniversary. When we reached out to Cindy, she stated she would get back with us. When we did not receive a responses, I reached back out to her that is when she became very rude and disrespectful, yelling things as "DID'T I TELL YOU TO WAIT," along with several other comments and hung up on one of us. This mix-up caused major embarrassment and disappointment as we sat and waiting in the lobby for over an hour to hear back from her, which we never did. The customer service representative was able to get us on the boat that night, with no help from Cindy. To add to the frustration, we were dismayed to discover that the Eiffel Tower was unexpectedly closed during my visit. This iconic symbol of Paris was a pivotal part of our trip. We were scheduled to tour and eat lunch at the Eiffel Tower and also a boat cruise. We have reached out to Cindy but has not received a response back as of yet regarding out refund. Overall, my experience with Colesville Travel was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Cindy's unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and failure to provide the services promised have left us feeling very disappointed. Our inquiries were met with delayed or even no responses. Instead of showing empathy and taking responsibility for her mistakes, Cindy responded rudely and dismissively to our concerns. The scheduling errors, the inconvenient hotel location, the closure of the Eiffel Tower, the excessive transportation costs, and the rude behavior of the travel agent all contributed to a deeply unsatisfying experience. Due to COVID, my family and I had to cancel our graduation trips and engagement parties (all booked through Colesville travel), and we have YET to receive our refunds. My group requested a refund in in March of 2020, it is now mid July! That is 4 months of no response from Cynthia and pure frustration. If I could give no stars I would. Took the recent Dubai trip and my experience was horrible. The accommodations are the worse!!! Excursions that we were booked on were unorganized and the buses were nasty. Definitely low cost for the money spent. Cindy informed us about a mandatory New Year's Eve party 8 days before leaving for Dubai. How can the hotel you staying in make you go to a mandatory party at the hotel and then charge your room $125 for this party. The hotel assured us Cindy made these arrangements when she booked us at this hotel. However, Cindy of course denied this but this was typical of Cindy. Dishonest and never take ownership. The host she provided us with was unprofessional and came with lots of drama from his personal life. We paid for an additional tour and the company never came out and Cindy refused to reimburse us. I'm a frequent traveler and this travel agent is the worse I've dealt with. Needless to say I will not be using her again and the other people that booked with her felt the same. Well, after several discussions regarding international travel with my colleagues, I made it known I was a novice, since I knew would probably be traveling solo, with the exception of about 150 plus on an airline. Then I was recommended to Cynthia Amin-Hall of Colesville Travel. I got in contact with Cynthia (or 'Cyn') and explained where I wanted to go in Asia (Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong) but was unsure how to organize my Asian adventures. That's where Cynthia's professionalism and extensive knowledge became essential throughout the itinerary, lodging, sightseeing, tours and attending specific events process, like the Songkran (Water) Festival, the Full Moon Party and the Chinese New Year. Through several conversations (via voice or email), within and/or external normal business hours, Cynthia and her hand-picked staff at Colesville Travel was always there to answer my questions, address my concerns and provide reassurance to calm my (and my family) fears/concerns. This post is long overdue.. I will say I agree 100% with the other people who says Colesville Travel (Cindy) is the Worst & i do mean the Worst Travel agency I have EVER dealt with. I wish i could give it a negative star rating one star is too generous!! I have used Cindy for 3 trips in the past none of the trips were awesome or even great but as a female who travels solo i was attracted to the tours because i knew there would be other people traveling on the tours - & i try to support black businesses- however i will say i should have stop dealing with Colesville Travel after my 1st trip with Cindy. This yelp review is about the black Paris trip i took back in October 2017 - as a single person i paid $4,000 for the trip which did not include airfare. I don't know where to begin but this trip was a low budget trip from start to finish. The Paris part of the trip was low budget but acceptable not great or awesome just acceptable. Once we left Paris we took a 9 hour bus ride (yes i said 9 hours) to Bordeaux - little background history i was only on Paris/France for 10 days & i spent over 19 hours on a bus. Upon arriving to Bordeaux at 11 pm at night (an entire day wasted on a bus ride) the hotel booked was horrific - it was so horrible that i had to find another hotel to stay at. Please keep in mind i was in a foreign country & it was the middle of the night (I have attached a review from one of the other travelers on the trip please read to get a different perspective & point of view). I had to pay an additional $1400 on top of the $4000 i had already paid to feel safe & sleep comfortably. Hotels.com cost for the hotel Cindy booked for Bordeaux was approximately $65 USD per night - & that was the current cost which did not include any travel agent discounts. (You do the math - unethical & shady Cindy with Colesville Travel). On the tour the next day i asked Beatrice Martin our local tour guide for the day about the hotel Cindy booked for us. The look on Beatrice's face was pity- then she went on to say Cindy asked her about the hotel that was booked & she told Cindy's she did not recommend it at ALL & give Cindy other hotel suggestions- When i informed Cindy of the conversation i had with Beatrice about the Bordeaux accommodations - Cindy flat out said to me that was not true (of course i believed Beatrice). & a train ride from Paris to Bordeaux is 2 hours - i ask Cindy why we were not put on a train - i can't even remember her dumb response at this time. Note you only need one day max 2 days in Bordeaux & please take the train. Now onto Sarlat - this should be deleted from the tour all tighter - 2 or 3 hour bus ride to get there - the tour of the Baker Chateau was one hour tops (then some dumb bird show) - u can't take any pictures - not owned by the baker family (why why why was this apart of the tour) 2 days stuck in Sarlat - for a tour that took one hour & was not worth the drive or the time in France - I emailed Cindy to ask her to get me back to Paris ASAP - her response was if i left i would be on my own. Then she had the nerve to try to sell SArlot to me saying they have the huge market there. It was one HUGE FLEE MARKET - why in the world would i travel to France to go to some flee market - Hotel in Sarlot was like a old college dorm room that was in desperate need of an upgrade - another low budget hotel - Bus ride back to Paris or 9 hours another entire day wasted. Over half of my time in France was wanted on low budget activities & hotels - & Cindy took no ownership- she sent a dumb email taking some mishaps occurred during the trip.. mishaps is that what you are calling that low budget trip?? Take some ownership ($5400 not including airtime solo traveler) & Colesville Travel accepting no ownership)... I could go on & on - but i hope you get the picture - Using Colesville Travel is a personal choice but take it from someone who traveled Colesville Travel 3 times. Around this time last year a hurricane cancelled our trip to Cuba. Which reminds me, if you're looking for a travel agent/agency, do NOT book Colesville Travel. The literal worst experience. No exaggeration here. Not communicative, poor customer service, felt like they/she was getting over on us, lack of transparency, not competent at group travel planning, not reassuring at all, sometimes blatantly disrespectful, weak/unimaginative itinerary planning, takes no responsibility for mistakes, attempts to rewrite facts when we had receipts. Just yeah. No. Don't. We were 11 women, all experienced international travelers who ordinarily (and seamlessly) book our own travel. We only got a travel agent because of the former regulations that limited lay citizens' ability to coordinate their own travel between the US and Cuba. She told us that we couldn't book a cruise to Cuba. One week before our scheduled trip, guess where our travel agent was? CUBA, ON A CRUISE. Y'all!! And then she didn't even give our group's info to the other people allegedly also working at Colesville Travel. When she connected us to a person named Judy, Judy emailed us and said not only did Cindy not leave any information for her about our trip, but that she didn't even leave contact info for herself!! It was so outrageously terrible and I cant even believe she (Cindy) is still in business. And then, there's the trip itself. Our Cuba hotel was super far from so much, she was dishonest about our ability to make itinerary adjustments (thankfully our Cuban tour operators were flexible, honest and invested in our group having a good time). My experience with Colesville Travel was AMAZING!!!!! i used Colesville Travel for my trip to Tanzania. Cindy, my travel consultant, arranged an absolutely perfect trip. She really listened to what I wanted. She took into account my needs and planned the ideal itinerary full of variety, lots of adventures and fun. It was a relaxing trip not having to worry about hiring guides, arranging transportation, or booking tours. All of our logistics were handled and executed flawlessly. Egypt/Ghana May, 2019 You read about it, you watch it on TV. I had the opportunity to visit Cairo, Egypt & Ghana. This was a trip of a lifetime. This was my first experience applying for Visas. I chose to apply at the Ghana and Egypt Embassy in Washington, DC. That was an amazing experience & made for excitement leading up to the trip. Be prepared for the paperwork. Some visas can be purchased online as well. Cynthia was professional and was available even after business hours to answer questions. She provided information to prepare for the trip and the Itinerary had meaningful facts about Egypt & Ghana and the tour. I loved the kickoff Meet & Greet before the trip. Cindy treated the group to an African Restaurant & chose different entrees for us to sample. We were provided with dos & don't and what was appropriate to wear. It was nice meeting the people in the group before traveling. Being that this was my first tour in Africa, I didn't know what to expect. I was in Awe to be in Egypt & Ghana. Our trip included Colesville Travel along with a tour guide from Cairo, Egypt and Ghana, admission to all the museums & sightseeing. All meals were included with the exception of lunch a few of the days. For this 10 day tour, we spent a majority of the time on the tour bus. I appreciate trying to see as much as possible, but it became tiresome. I would love to have had more moments to be on ground amongst the natives. I also know that with large groups, there is no way to please everybody. That's why, I appreciate the planned Itinerary. My one recommendation for future tours, would be to select a few of the top major attractions and include some down time for mental breaks & allow the guest to rest/relax. One other plus was that Cindy planned a tour in Paris during our layover going & with the return layover in Amsterdam, we took a canal river ride. That was amazing!!! When asked to provide guests and nights staying, her information such as the dates, names, and number of nights was incorrect. She was abrasive and did not provide constant information. She was at times confrontational and did not take responsibility when there was an error, and did little to make things right. There was a switch in hotels, and she claimed that it was because there were too many guests, however her information in her spreadsheet was incorrect. Yes, our family made the best of it and the accommodations were not horrible, however the arrangements were subpar compared to what was originally requested and we were charged the same price. I have used Cindy/Colesville Travel on several occasions for both group (Dubai and South Africa) and personal travel but I have to say that Cindy outdid herself in coordinating my most recent trip to Morocco and Egypt. It was amazing!!!! She was able to incorporate my recommendations for hotels, etc into a package that was seamless and flawless! My Aunt and SNL agree that this was a trip of a lifetime. Dubai Trip for New Years Eve with Cindy the owner of Colesville Travel accompanying us was an absolute nightmare! She is Dishonest, Noncommunicative, Unprofessional, Unorganized and Discurteous need I say more? You get what you pay for! If I could hwr zero stars I would. In the event that you are an experienced traveler or expecting more than a 'D' rated trip this is NOT the agency for you. We were a group of 5 and Cindy offered no options, mislead us with erroneous information and paid more attention to her traveling family than the travel guests. An example is that her and her family took the best available seats at the safari dinner and show, she personally got so drunk she was unale to contain herself. Most of all she was unable to provide adequate information on prepaid excursions and then changed the pricing the day before departure and alleged a non-disclosed cancellation fee after we arrived in Dubai the day of the dinner cruise since she was unable to provide affirmative transportation information. Again, if you are okay with substandard travel this is the agency for you, otherwise run!! I am still waiting for a return credit on a dinner cruise fees and we returned to the US on January 3rd!!!! Took a bus trip with Colesville Travel on Saturday. We went up to New York to see Porgy & Bess. The play was beyond phenomenal, just wonderful. But this review is not about the spectacular play. This 5 star review is about the wonderful experience I had traveling with Colesville Travel. First, I am admittedly a "voluptuous girl". So I sometimes worry a bit when I have to travel. But the seats on the bus were comfortable. And more importantly my seat mate was also comfortable. Not only on the bus, but also in the orchestra level seats we had in the theater for the play. This is a HUGE plus and to me automatically worth 4 stars. But I give Colesville Travel an extra star because Cynthia Amin-Hall went out of her way to make everyone on the bus feel comfortable and well taken care of. From the honey bun and the bottle of water we received upon entering the bus, to the friendly helpful bus driver whose smooth driving skills got us there and back safe and happy even when the rains came in later that evening. The trip was planned down to the last detail. We stopped for restroom/snack breaks and we still stayed on schedule and everything worked out perfectly. Another big plus for someone like me, who has just a "touch" of the OCD. I would not use this business again! My trip was arranged by my daughter for a decent size wedding party.... First, I submitted payment info for deposit, which was not processed timely and was requested from me a second time a couple of months later (it was right the first time, just wasn't processed). Second, another member of the party was sent a paid in full receipt, then was told later they had a balance due. Third, a family booked, but after billing mistakes made by Cindy they decided to forfeit their deposits and use another agent rather than deal with the ignorant and disrespectful manner that Cindy thought was acceptable to address them and resolve. Fourth, and the straw for me, was when my daughter, the bride, was contacted and told she HAD to pay a ~$500 balance for a family member who was unable to attend after paying the initial deposit. The simple fix would have been - for the agent who is supposed to act on behalf of her client- to discuss moving the second person from that room to another room (we had several viable options!), but I guess that would have cut Cindy's commission, so it wasn't done. Further, when I contacted Cindy she stated that she "had assumed..." She made an assumption which cost a significant amount of money unnecessarily - the individual should have forfeited their deposit, done deal. Not to mention that she made statements to me that were not true. I contacted the resort asking questions and did some research on their website for policy and was able to verify that I was lied to. The impersonal touch of almost all communication being via email, sloppy mistakes with the handling of customer payment info/transactions and the costly assumptions and lack of client focus to do what is in their best interest while remaining within the parameters of the contractual agreement are reason enough for me not to patronize this business. read more

I recently went on the Girlfriend's Getaway to Costa Rica. The trip was amazing. Cindy made sure that all of our needs were met. Before leaving we had the opportunity to introduce ourselves through a private Facebook group, tour options were given to us and Cindy had an itinerary already prepared for us. We stayed at the Westin Resort and Spa in Playa Conchal and the resort was absolutely beautiful. We went with a group of almost 15 other women and Cindy made sure we had things to do together and separately from the group. This is the second trip I have booked through Cindy and we loved this one just as much as we loved the other. read more

This was my first and last time using Coleville Travel. Other than having a great time with friends, which we could do without her services, everything about the trip was a disaster. She advertised a non-stop flight and of course there was a stop going and returning. The timing was terrible. 7am flight, arrived to hotel at 1:30 and had to leave at 2pm for a 3 Stadium Tour. Returned to hotel at 6 from tour and had to wait around to meet her between 7 and 8 to receive tickets to footgame game. Well, she didnt arrive until 7:40 and when she did, did not even apologize for being late. So, once she unveiled the tickets, all hell broke loose. Not only did you advertise non stop that we did not get, what happended to the lower level seats. Very poor customer service. The hotel package I purchased from the company switched the hotel after I had purchased the hotel room. The hotel that it was switched to was cheaper on the hotels web site then what we paid and when there is a wedding party you should get a deal. When called and asked Cynthia Hall about it all she said it just $50 a person! I paid for 3 people so that's $150. So if it just $50 why don't you refund it? Bad business! DO NOT USE COLESVILLE TRAVEL/Cindy Amin for any group travel arrangements. My trip to the Dallas Redskin game was one of the worst experiences that I could have imagined. First she puts out false advertisement, stating that she will provide a direct flight for this trip. Then she makes changes without consulting the customer. She's unresponsive to emails and doesn't return your phone call(s) and she lies. THE CONTRACT Cindy's flyer is her contract. I received her flyer on April 25, 2013. The first deposit due by 5/30/13 and the balance due by 9/1/13. It states "Roundtrip nonstop air from BWI, 2 nights at the Hilton Arlington, TX, VIP Guided Stadium Tour, Full Hot buffet breakfast, Round Trip airport and game transfers and Lower Level Seats for $875 for double occupancy. Along with her contract is a registration form to include my email address and phone numbers. I state all of the above, because this is her offer and this is what we are agreeing to pay for. Cindy made changes to everyone's flight stating that she could not get everyone on a direct flight, after we all met the terms of her contract. In addition to changing the flights, she never contacted us directly regarding the change. The game was played on a Sunday night in which we left the stadium around 12 midnight. By the time we arrived back to the hotel and settled in, it was 1:30. She had us on a connecting flight going thru Detroit that departed Dallas at 7:00am. For this reason alone, is why I prefer a direct flight. I traveled with my wife and two other couples. On this return flight, she did not have any couples sitting together. We all had middle seats. Very uncomfortable!!!! Cindy also lied about where we would sit at the game. I called her three days before we left and asked her what section we would be seated. She responded 200 section, in which I was ok. Her flyer said lower level seating. When I/we picked up our tickets, to all of our surprise, we all were sitting in the upper 300eds. On top of that, of the 117 people she booked this travel for, none of the tickets had more than two people sitting together. So the other two couples that traveled with me were sitting in completely different sections. So I could not enjoy the game with any of my friends that I asked to come on this trip with me. For Cindy to be a travel agent, I would think that she would put her customers first, but she could care less. She offered no apology, nor was she sympathetic to any of our issues/concerns. It was also alleged that she used our travel monies to fund her trip to Africa in which she traveled about three weeks before that Dallas/Redskin trip and then tried to finalized the Dallas/Redskin trip. If only I had searched for reviews and warned my son before they engaged this company. We are in the beginning stages and it has been a mess. First, her deposits are more than the industry standard and I clearly see why. She is getting her 15% commission on the front is by making that the non-refundable deposit. So once she has her commission, there is no incentive to provide good, average or mediocre service. After the deposit is paid you get piss poor service. You know incompetence. Her bookkeeping is awful, lots of opportunity for improvement there. My mother-in-law made a payment Aug 1, and it was applied. I contacted Cindy on Aug 28 to advise her to draft another payment per my mother-in-law's request and she did. BUT after Cindy did,she noticed a payment was drafted Aug 1, so SHE decided that had to be wrong, even though she had emails to look back on to see the requests. Sounds like too many people keeping the books or perhaps the one person keeping the books needs to learn how to manage the books. After all isn't that the majority of what she does? When I initially expressed concern about writing my card information on a form and faxing or emailing it to her, she quickly informed me that she wasn't paying an extra 4% to provide clients the ability to pay securely online. BTW, I had to ask for an updated invoice and when it was received, it was dated May, not August, the month she received payment. Like I said, there is a lot of opportunity for improvement. I guess she thinks my mother-in-law can't afford to pay $400 in one month. So she cancels/reverses the payment and says not a word. When my mother-in-law, who is 89 years old,asked why she didn't contact her if she had questions, she was rude, condescending and just ignorant. Hummmm, our experience sounds very similar to the majority of the other reviews. So, Cindy sends an invoice that doesn't reflect the payment which caused us to inquire because a payment was in fact made on Aug. 28. Never once did she acknowledge she screwed up, no, it was you've ONLY paid $600 total. If you are planning a trip, DO NOT use Cindy. If you are a risk taker and decide to use her be sure to check out the cancellation policy of the hotel you are going to and compare it to Cindy's cancellation policy. You will find this interesting, the Rock Hotel Punta Cana has a cancellation policy whereby you can cancel up until 4 days before arrival and they refund all of your money however Cindy doesn't pass that on. It will be interesting to see if she tries the hotel switch-a-rue two others spoke of. I just checked the better Business Reviews for Cindy and yes, it gets worse. What was really interesting is the information about the travel insurance. When we inquired about it before paying our deposit, Cindy said we couldn't buy it until she received our deposits because she needed our dates of birth in order to quote a price.......and you guessed it, she NEVER said another word about it. This business would be a great one to be featured on channel 2! Perhaps I can make that happen. I have read your reviews and seems like your using pictures to cover your horrible service. People don't pay their money to not take pictures or make a good time out of all the confusion and Inconvenience you put people through. It's someone's wedding we will of course make the best of it. Her wedding was beautiful and so is she.BUT your part in it wasn't great at all! From the money problems, from you having people pay for rooms that wasn't even available and telling them months later. Also you talk very aggressive over the phone. Anyone who uses Colesville Travel will be very disappointed with the service and refund policy. My cousin planned a getaway wedding in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands around April 28, 2016 for up to five days. I needed to cancel my trip because of death in the family and because the travel agent never clarified that we were responsible for our airfare. Though I didn't purchase travel insurance, I notified the travel agent of cancellation on April 14, 2016. Two weeks before the trip, I told the agent that my father and I would not be able to attend the wedding. The agent and Go Go World Wide Vacations decided that they were going to keep $1,620 that my father and I out and also lied to my cousin that they were working on getting someone else to take my father and I place on the trip so we would get our money back. The agent, Cynthia Amin-Hall and Go Go World Wide Vacations haven't responded to numerous attempts by American Express and Citizens Bank to receive a refund. I don't have a problem paying a $150.00 non-refundable fee for the service but $1,620 is criminal. Take my word for it, RUN AWAY FAST if Colesville Travel and Go Go World Wide Vacations have anything to do with your trip. read more

Whatever you do this is not the travel agent to be used at all. I planned a trip to Australia and many of us decided not to go. Some of us put our deposits and money paid towards the Australia trip to another one and some just got a refund. 1 person decided to leave the money they had paid to Colesville Travel (Cynthia Amin) in her account with them until she decided on another trip. About 6 months later, she decided she just wanted to get a refund, understanding that she would loose her deposit of $300. The Travel Agent refused to give her the money back saying she should have said something earlier. She must have spent her money because she refuses to give her the difference of $2700 which is less the nonrefundable portion of the trip. We pointed Cynthia to what was on her website about loosing the deposit and were fine with loosing that just to plan a trip that did not warrant a travel agent, but she still refused to pay the money. Steer clear of this company and any travel services associated with her name because this is not a reputable business. read more

I do not recommend using Colesville Travel for your travel needs, or for any other needs for that matter. Cynthia Amin Hall is unprofessional and did not provide the services that she advertised. I used to operate a travel business myself, and I'm also a seasoned traveler, so I am very familiar with how all of this is supposed to work. I went on her Dallas/Reskins trip from Washington, DC to Dallas, TX. I could have arranged this trip for me and my husband myself for about the same price she advertised, but I was excited about traveling and watching the game with friends. The first undeliverable was that we did not get the direct flight as promised. Because of the layover (going from DC to ATL, and then to Dallas), our total flight was about 7 hours! Plus, my original seat was not next to my husband. I had to request a seat change just so we could sit together. Once we got to the hotel, we had to rush to check in and catch the bus to take the stadium tour -- which we were never given information about. There were 3 assigned times for the tours and she never gave me, or the people in my group, the time of our tour. We were lucky that we were able to make the tour. The last group was not able to make it, and I don't believe they received a refund or some type of consolation for missing one of the 2 highlights of the trip. Even if you are not a Cowboys fan, everyone goes out there to see the stadium. The next undeliverable was that she advertised lower level seating, but our seats were in the 300 section. I've been to several sporting and arena events and know that lower level seating means 100 or 200 level. Everyone in my group, and everyone else that I spoke to that went on Cynthia's trip had seats in the 300 section. I don't care how she tries to rationalize this, she knows that the 300 level is not lower level seating. And to make matters worse, she shows up at 7:40 pm in the hotel lobby when she told us that she would be there between 7-8 to issue the tickets. She came without an apology or remorse for having us all wait for so long. Also, she offered no explanation for providing upper level seating when she clearly sold us all on the expectation that we would get lower level seating. The final blow was that none of the seats were together! That was one of the main attractions to group trips like this. What she provided, I could have done myself for cheaper, and seats in the lower level. I know this because I went last year and sat in the 118 section. I really believe that Cynthia got way over her head and did not expect the high intrest that she received based on the information she provided in her flyer, and she didn't know how to handle such a high demand. And instead of asking for help, she got greedy. I understand that sometimes everything does not go as planned -- things happen. But her attitude towards her "clients" and about the situation was absolutely unprofessional, she was totally ambivalent to all of our disappointment, and did nothing to try to alleviate any of the problems. Had she been honest and just told everyone up front that she could not get the lower level seats as she promised and apologized for all of the other mishaps, and maybe offer a T-shirt to everyone just to show some type of regret for the inconvenience, perhaps we all would have received this a little better. That's what real professionals do that run a thriving and successful business. Instead, she runs this business as if she is doing her clients a favor. Travel agents come a dime a dozen. Had she done this proeperly, she could have earned repeat customers in the future. And at the very least, this could have been an annual trip for her business. My experience was one I would not wish on an enemy. In short, this was the most expensive trip I NEVER took! I booked an all-inclusive trip through this pseudo business with a group for a birthday celebration to Cabo. Although the travel plans were set without any issue, the dishonesty of the agent, Cindy, became apparent once I contacted her to cancel my trip. I explained that there was a death in my family and the funeral services were scheduled to be held on the day the group was set to travel. Since I paid for travel insurance, Cindy assured me I would receive a full refund for the trip excluding the travel insurance fees. After weeks of calls and emails to her, Cindy eventually emailed to tell me to expect a refund of less than HALF of the money I paid for the trip. When I inquired why, Cindy claimed she didn't know, took no responsibility then proceeded to blame the third-party company she booked travel through; a company I had never heard of. I immediately called the third-party company directly. After they reviewed their records, the operator for the company clearly explained "the travel agent NEVER cancelled lodging, meals, transportation or entertainment; she only cancelled air travel which is the refund you will be receiving." After informing Cindy of what I learned, she again denied responsibility then claimed I was being charged so that the costs for the group didn't increase. If this sounds ridiculous, it is. I could go on about the base, rude, indignant and piss poor customer service, the complete disrespect and disregard this woman showed towards me and my money and the feeling of helplessness I had to endure. Cindy offered no apologies, accepted no responsibility and showed no decency throughout this entire process. After making an initial deposit, the owner would never respond to my phone calls or emails about details of the trip (i.e. travel insurance, cancellation requirements). First of all let me say that you should NEVER use Colesville Travel for anything! Cynthia, the person who runs Colesville is a very unprofessional and uncaring individual. What was offered for the Dallas trip (Oct. 12-14, 2013) was NOTHING like what was received. The direct flights, lower level seating at the game, football stadium tours, etc. all of that was a LIE. I believe that she didn't know what she was getting into and rather than letting people know what was going on she, in turn, messed up the whole Dallas trip for the majority of the people. Familes didn't sit together on flights, or just were on different flights altogether. Some people didn't even have airfare and had to find that out themselves! So many disappointments. I traveled with Colesville Travel on the London portion of the London/Paris/Rome portion of the group tour. My portion of the trip was well organized, starting with an informative pre-trip orientation with the group. I spent 3 days with the group. The tours were very informative, with comfortable coaches, well-versed and friendly tour guides. The highlight of the trip was a Black history tour of Brixton. The hotel was in a good location, convenient to restaurants and transportation. The daily hearty breakfast was a plus. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was ok, but the furnishings and carpet were dated and worn. Cindy arranged for us to stay in London for 7 nights. Everything went smoothly, including the transfer she booked for us to get back to the airport. The only problem: Being tired after a long flight, and after taking a mini-tour of the city to kill time, the rooms were not ready when we arrived at the hotel. My suggestion would be to arrange flights so that arrival would be closer to check-in times. read more
