For the most part, when I'm looking for something, I tend to know which part of the store I'm going to, when I have questions, say in the plumbing department, the knowledge has been excellent. Like all places, prices can be more for somethings and better on others. Personally, I prefer L&M over the Home Depot. Ignore the one star reviews and only negative review posters, this is really a gem of a place.

Pluemer's is by far one of the biggest antique stores in northern Minnesota…read more I've been to Pluemer's many times and I'm always impressed with the huge number and variety of antiques packed into this building. It has a giant first floor and a half 2nd floor balcony area. The west side is mostly one vendor that specializes in high quality automotive and advertising type items. The prices in this area are pretty high. You won't find any deals here. He's definitely charging what you'd expect as "full-retail" in a major metropolitan area antique store. But he does have some nice stuff. The east side (and the 2nd floor) is mostly filled with the owner's items. This area has a big variety of merchandise and a lot of things you'd typically see at an antique mall. But there's a LOT of it. According to the owner, he once sold furniture out of this building -- hence, the name and the sign. But now it's 99.9% antiques with only a few antique or vintage pieces of furniture.
