Same with the hosts, when they are here they are constantly working to keep the campground clean and enjoyable. Every time there is a big storm they come to check on me and my dogs to make sure we're doing okay. There is a 4 mile trail on the property too which people ride their side by sides on and is beautiful to walk on. There are many ponds on the property as well. There is one that has a swing, a slide, a fountain, and a deck which is a beautiful spot to spend your time. This isn't your ordinary urban campground, it is in the woods and they have chosen to not use chemicals on site so everything is all natural, which also means that there are a lot of bugs. This is the absolute most perfect campground if you're looking for something in between rustic camping and glamping.

I gave the campground 3 stars only because we only used the cabin to sleep at. We didn't explore nor have a campfire. The cabin was small. My wife called it rustic, probably because of the 20 spiders I had to kill before her or my daughter would go to sleep. I did see a toad in the shower. The shower in the cabin was small and had enough hot water for one 15 minute shower. I didn't use the bathrooms/showers next door.

They should fix that, even though sign are posted that they are slippery. The pool was great, warm, clean. Activities could be improved upon however. People do not read the paper or even remember to pick one up and nobody reads the whitewash board with printed activities listed on it. We lost our power twice throughout the whole campground for a few hours each time but all in all it gave everyone an opportunity to get out and about and gab with their neighbors. Playground equipment is need of minor repair but the kids liked it anyways. This park is for the older generation by far compared to their other parks. Clean, neat, quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much. They are working on this park to improve it like making pretty wooden benches to sit on, a volley ball court, and other things. It is a work in progress. I give this park four stars at this time.
