Unwelcoming and Hostile: We arrived to the park after a long day on the road to see a Trump 2020 flag waving at the RV park's official entrance. When we pulled in, we were approached by a park attendant person who was maskless and refused to give us any appropriate distance. When we expressed our discomfort with the situation, we were told by the park attendant that "if you're not for Trump, you better haul ass." So we left. There are too many beautiful, welcoming, and safe places in Michigan to be stuck spending the night here. read more

We are on our third season at Loranger Pines and we love it! Lori is absolutely wonderful and so accommodating! The RV park is on the smaller side, which is great because it's super quiet. No frills or thrills, but a very friendly atmosphere which is what we were looking for. Clean and kept very well maintained. Far enough out in the woods to enjoy the atmosphere, and close enough to town where you can enjoy shopping at that Tanger Outlets as well as various stores and restaurants. Not to mention the location is perfect to reach all parts of lower Michigan. Roughly a two hour drive to any part of Michigan! From our camper we've been able to spend the day in Mackinaw, Grand Rapids, Michigan Adventure, Traverse City, Tawas and more! Also close to so many lakes and rivers, there's always something to do. I'd recommend Loranger Pines whether or not you're looking for a place to camp overnight or for a season! read more
