They told me they were 99% sure what it was based off how I described the operation and, unfortunately, I'd most likely need a new furnace. But they would send someone out next day to make sure since it was getting cold out. They came out next day and ran through the test with me, explaining what was wrong. We determined I did need a new furnace, why my current one couldn't be repaired, talked options and made an order. They were back out the next week, in peek season, to install my new furnace. I had Heat just in time for the cold snap. Everyone I dealt with was professional and honest and I was so impressed I chose them to do all the heating and cooling work on my new construction the following year. There was a listing for Barnard Heating & Cooling (Nathan Barnard), which started business in 2024 and he stated he has 13 years' experience in HVAC and he was open on Thanksgiving Day; so, I called him and explained the situation. He checked it out, knowing that I needed a new furnace, he said he could install a new Heil furnace the following Monday and quoted a fair price. I told him to write it up. So, Monday, he installed the new furnace with no problems. What a difference; heats the house quickly. Nathan "Nate" Barnard is very professional and personable. The absolutely the best contractor I have ever worked with. I highly recommend Barnard Heating & Cooling. Way to go, Nate. 5 stars. Gary P.
