    Tukwila prices

I was shocked when I paid. The prices are extremely ridiculous. I searched for other locations and they are the only ones ripping the prices up. Not even Bellevue has them that high. Had to put a one start so it would allow me to submit a review.

Cookie dough and chocolate overload creations

Staff and space- We received a meh greeting and the worker couldn't give me any specific differences between the sweet cream and the French vanilla flavors. (Tastes like French vanilla is a pretty lame answer.) But the place looked neat and clean. We ordered two creations. The first was loaded with mini chocolate chips, three bites of cookie dough, caramel and fudge mixed into the French vanilla. Flaw: the worker left some of my serving on the slab. Hum. I should have asked why he didn't put all if it in my bowl. Maybe he wanted a bit for himself. It was that or scrape it into the garbage. I found the chocolate chips a bit hard. I prefer the softer ones, like the Tillamook ice cream. I wished I'd just ordered a small because the medium was a bit much, and after eating half, too sweet. The other creation we ordered included chocolate ice cream with brownies and chocolate chips. I tried to like the chocolate ice cream. I gave it an honest chance. But it was bland. My husband wished he had ordered those mix-ins in vanilla instead. The bowls of ice cream or frozen yogurt run from $6.50-$8 a serving. Each additional mix-ins cost another dollar each. It's a bit much, but they do have an array of choices for a splurge. Ice cream cakes cost anywhere from $30 to $60.

We were heading home from a doctor appointment quite a ways away, and so in order to appease my daughter, we stopped for ice cream. Cold Stone ice cream is delicious! The waffle bowls are yummy. The only downfall is the price. For my daughter's small ice cream, it was over $8. This isn't something I would want to do often, but it was a nice treat.

Walking in it smelled like any other Cold Stone Creamery. I am a veteran so I ordered a triple S. Strawberry Shortcake Serenade. The attendant didn't know what that was and I told him the components of it and ended up nixing the strawberries. The utensils used were dirty and unwashed with remnants of previous creams. He lazily folded in yellow cake and whipped cream. I hastily left to enjoy my bounty. When I got to the car I saw that the "mixing-in" was less than sub par. The yellow cake was so stale it had a chalky taste. So very disappointed with this location of my favorite ice cream chain.

    The aftermath

When it comes to ice cream chains this is our favorite. The rotating flavors and versatility to create the perfect version we love. We have a few sIgnatures that we like to try different ways with other flavors of ice cream. Their rewards program is really good and they often have BOGO coupons that go to your email, plus you earn points eacH time that you can earn money off your purchase. The service is usually good and lines go quickly, but have tto make a special mention about the Southcenter Location, the staff was friendly and the owner wAS helping i g out and cleaning up the lobby. Their batthrooms were spotless as well as the entire store! Your sure to find something you will enjoy!

I really like this place, the people working there are nice and give large portion sizes. We usually wait for some sort of BOGOfree email or coupon in the mail so keep your eyes out for those. Makes it 6$ for two larges! Deals. I always get the cheesecake with pie crust as my 1 topping. Try it out!

I came into this store using the app for the buy one get one free for either a like it, a love it and I ordered a shake and a creation which I turned into a shake and the shake was more expensive than the creation but the owner ended up charging me $2.95 extra because there were more than one toppings that I turned into a shake. But as you can see from the picture, it says buy one and get one of lesser value for free. This is terrible customer service and would never go here again. I pretty much ended up only getting buy one getting the other one half off instead of the advertised BOGO deal. Don't ever go here as the owner is cheap and I don't recommend anyone going supporting this business. The owner literally came out from the back and told the employee to charge me.

I love ice cream. The best part is selecting your own toppings and seeing it be mixed in. Will always be down to get Cold Stone.

I explained I was out of state and would love to have balloons and cupcakes delivered for a birthday. We discussed how many balloons (two size 'bouquets' are available) and what colors, and how many cupcakes. We did not discuss what variety of cupcakes, just that six would be enough. An invoice was emailed to me shortly after we spoke and paid prior to delivery day. The balloons were delivered as promised, with the the cupcakes and I am told were a bit small (I had some delivered to the recipient when she lived in CA previously - clearly not the same vendor :D), and the taste was preferred over the cake she received, so that sounds like a good review. As I am not nearby, I am unable to offer first hand experience. However, the owner promptly replied to my request for service and fulfilled my request exactly as discussed. All together a success and a much appreciated service. I did look at purchasing balloons from a chain party store, but prefer to hire small local businesses when possible. The cost may have been more, but the service provided is much more personal and supporting the local economy more valuable in the long run.

They dropped off the balloons at our venue (for a fee) and it was so hassle free -- which was such a relief. The balloons even lasted days later when we took them home. A bit out of our budget but it was worth every penny. Also happy to support a small business any day.

The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.

UPDATE: 3/24/26... As a Yelp Elite member for 6 years, I…read morepride myself in giving fair reviews, whether good or bad. And with the bad, I strive to be positive on the experience that was good before giving suggestions or letting the owner know what fell short. I'm never out to bash a business. Rather, as an owner, if you pride yourself in customer service, you will take what a sincere Yelp Elite reviewer has to say, step back and see how you can improve. I just read the comments another reviewer posted a few days ago and saw that they were berated as well. I had nothing to gain from giving the review I did and it's unfortunate that you're no longer going to be in business, but there were two other people with me that came to this consensus. With that, I will reply to the unfortunate remarks slammed at me, the reviewer. Let me preface by saying I asked for a pic with the owner before tea service started. If it was said that we had a wonderful and lovely time, it was not by me but one of my friends who, when asked how everything was, couldn't think of anything else to say. Also, I wasn't going to express all of this in front of the owner at the time because I had others with me. So, to rebel and ask me if my mother is still alive and did she teach me to behave like this? Well, all I can say is your reaponse as a business owner is extremely childish and unprofessional. I didn't make the food. I reviewed it and if that means it's not the best review, so be it. It pains me not to give a business owner a good review because that's not what we as Elite members strive for. That said, lashing out is not the answer. At least I have the maturity and diplomacy to put these comments in without getting into a mud fight like you chose to do. Review..... My two girlfriends and I came here for afternoon tea. Since I'm the Yelp reviewer, I asked them for their input and so it was a consensus of the three of us. Here's what went right. It was nice to have a carafe of water at our table, there were beautiful flowers and dyed water to match in the vase, the teacups and saucers were very pretty, the owner was extremely nice. Here's what we thought needed a second look. The sign in the store advertised cheese and fruit for the afternoon tea but it didn't appear. When we asked we were told it didn't come with it but we could get some if we wanted. Please revise the sign as people do notice. Suggest you have a selection of three sandwiches rather than two of each. One was a small croissant filled with egg salad and if we hadn't been told that we thought it might be chicken. The other was a cucumber sandwich which although it's nice to have thin slices of cucumber, these were razor thin. Sort of disappointing that there was so little on a beautiful piece of bread. They scones were nothing special. Perhaps have something inside whether it be cranberry, currant etc. The sweets consisted of a Mexican wedding cake which was rather dry and was there a detection of almond extract? The orange macaron, as beautiful as it was, lacked flavor of orange. I was expecting a nice burst of something but it just wasn't there. The fondant on the petit four was much too thick, and sweet. Whatever fashion the raspberry is used, keep a bit of that tart flavor to offset the sweetness from the fondant. The effort was there, things just felt short.
