It had been a looong time since visiting a Cold Stone. I received a gift card recently so my husband, 3 year old son and I went. We got there at noon, the time listed as when the location opened. We watched two employees notice us at the door and make no effort to speed up their opening tasks. Finally, at 12:10 the lights came on and a woman came over and unlocked the door. She didn't open the door or welcome us, just unlocked it. We opened the door, my 3- year old squealing with excitement. I smiled and said hi to the woman who was setting up some chairs. She not only did not respond at all, but she also rolled her eyes, clearly expressing her annoyance at our presence. That attitude continued throughout the process of us ordering and paying for ice cream. We continued to "kill it with kindness," thanking her, smiling, telling her to have a good day as we left. As far as Cold Stones go this one is a very good location. Always get the mud pie Mojo and never disappointed. The people who work there are very friendly and the location is very clean and they do a very good job with mixing the ice cream well and giving it a good consistency. The only reason why I don't give it five stars is because a large ice cream is $7 which is not the greatest value no matter how hood the ice cream is.
