Cold Stone will always be a weak spot for me haha. We were in the mode for a sweet treat. Of course ice cream was great as usual. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night. People were nicely in line. And moved rather fast. Everyone was friendly. Wasn't too loud, just normal chatter. I've gone to this location multiple times and this has never happened but when I was give my order the handle part of the bag was covered in ice cream. I asked for another bag because it was just the bad I didn't want that all over my hands and my car. I feel like they could've made an effort to nearly place stuff to go. There's always an odd smell in there whenever I come here. The ice cream is always good though. I feel like they should offer a student discount since it's on University. I ordered a chocolate devotion and told the worker of my peanut and tree nut allergy. The order took about 7 extra minutes compared to my friend's (a normal, non-allergy order) who ordered after me, and when I got it, there were sprinkles cross-contaminated in it. While I couldn't taste peanut butter, I felt the reaction and got hives. Overall good ice cream and nice workers, but do not recommend if you have allergies. read more

Very bad stay in this ice cream shop, I gave a 20 bill to pay my 8$ ice cream but the cashier gave me back only 2$.... The cashier wouldn't admit her mistake and I never got my change back. The manager was not sympathetic, she never wanted to fix things, and even said she didn't have time to deal with the problem. Absolutely love it here! They have the best flavors to choose from and also pre selected options for combination flavors and toppings. You can test taste as many flavors as you like. There is seating inside and public bathrooms. The ice cream is always so fresh and so are all the toppings they provide :) I used a Groupon this visit and it worked out perfectly. This place is one of those comforting absolutes in my life. Knowing that this place exists makes me feel happy inside. Every time we have a hankering for ice cream, it's either here or Menchies, depending on the mood we are in. You know what I'm talking about. So when we come here, it's always hard to decide what we want. All of the flavors sound great, and even the flavors that are outside of my comfort zone catch my eye sometimes. Their waffle bowls are very good, but be careful, if you get the chocolate-covered waffle bowl, maybe don't get a chocolate-flavored ice cream. It's just too much. Make sure you get your Snapchat out in time for the employees to do their mixing on that cold stone, because it really is a site to behold. They have a great amount of training and are so fluid in their motions. It's going to make you want to get a cold stone installed in your house. Overall, this place is great. In terms of things that aren't business-standard, it's always clean, the employees are always nice, and the quality of mixing has always been spot on. This Coldstone seems a bit smaller than the others that I've been to in the past, although I may be wrong. They still have all the great signature flavors with an option to create your own mix. The ice cream is mixed together right in front of you so you can always ask for extra whatever if you need to. The staff members are super friendly and serve with a smile. I had no idea that there was a Cold Stone so close to UCF until recently! It's located right by Lazy Moon and Tijuana Flats. The inside is pretty small but I can't imagine it getting too too crowded. They also have a table and a few chairs outside. I always order the berry berry berry good. It's hands down my all time favorite. The employees are this location were nice and made my ice cream very quickly. -Berry Berry Berry Good- It's sweet without being too sweet and it's really refreshing when it's hot outside. It has strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries with sweet cream ice cream. They slab it on the marble, yes like marble slap ..its competitor....and make it your own creation. My brother and I took my three year old for an after dinner treat. I got her a kid sized cup with a scoop of cotton candy and a scoop of the "green stuff" and sprinkles. My daughter smiled the WHOLE time. I ordered the Apple caramal crunch, which is one of the Cold stone creations...AMAZING. I got it in a "I love it" waffle cup (that is the actual name for medium size)..and honestly every bite was soooo good. Even the waffle was tasty. The girl behind the counter was not only pleasant, but so patient, and friendly. She had a line full of cutsomers, yet managed to make each one feel like it was ALL about them. This review is specifically for the ice cream cake. We wanted to get mom the best ice cream cake ever. We got the red velvet birthday cake ice cream cake, small. It was ~$30. Sad to say, it did not win the award for the best. I would give it about a 2-3. One of my favorite Cold Stone locations! I love love their ice cream. Berry Berry Good is the perfect way to lure and bribe me to pretty much anything. Their sweet cream ice cream is to die for, and the berries mixed in taste perfect. They have a varied amount of flavors and mix ins as well as smoothies and other dessert options. They can get a little busy since they're right by UCF, so I always keep that in mind. They have a few seats inside, and one outdoor table. The staff here is always very kind and they're as quick as they can be with the orders. My only complaint would be the prices. I've noticed the difference between locations and this one tends to be one of the more pricey ones, especially for the waffle bowls and mix ins. I came here because my sister gave me a gift card! Cold stone ice cream is extremely rich and flavorful! Personally I prefer soft serve, but I do understand why many people love cold stone. It is an experience, watching your ice cream be hand made with your own favorite ingredients, on the cold slab. The presentation is probably the most striking part, because it looks so big, delicious and overwhelming! I think they do a good job of having options so that anyone who comes here can get something they'll really enjoy. I had the sweet cream ice cream with kit kats, Twix, and cookie dough, on a chocolate dipped waffle with sprinkles on top. I went for the sweet cream because all the other ice creams just seemed too sweet! This one was a little bit lighter. I recommend people to give it a try to see how they like it, it's worth the attempt. For most people they will probably hooked, for me I'd rather just stick to a soft serve ice cream dipped in chocolate. I just received my Uber Ears order and I did not know they would mix everything together. I assumed they would treat toppings as they are. TOPPED onto the ice cream. Not mixed in. There is supposed to be whipped cream, caramel, chocolate fudge syrup, and brownie chunks sitting on TOP of my ice cream. There is not so now I barely taste everything except the abundance of ice cream, pecans, and brownie chunks. It taste like they didn't even put in the whipped cream, the caramel, and chocolate fudge syrup in here. My boyfriend ordered through Uber Eats and I decided to go with the Founder's Favorite since I can't order my usual (Brownie A la Cold Stone) through the app. Everything that's included in the Founder's Favorite is basically the same as my normal ice cream order. The only difference being that instead of the warm brownie being on the bottom, it would be topped onto the ice cream. I was surprised when I saw the ice cream and especially surprised when I started eating it. There was no caramel, no chocolate fudge, and no whipped cream. I made sure to ask to put whipped cream on the top of my ice cream. This place has been inconsistent with getting my order correct so this isn't the first time this has happened. This just the first time that they've completely screwed up. Especially because they mixed everything together (they usually ask when I'm at the restaurant in person and other times they don't ask and just assume that I want it mixed so then as soon as I see them about to go and mix everything together and I halt them in their tracks so they don't fuck up my order once again). This wouldn't be a problem if cold stone would've never take Brownie A La Cold Stone off the menu. Now I have to give instructions to the employees who haven't been working there long and don't how to make it and risk getting my order screwed. I praise God though whenever there is a long time employee there who actually remembers my favorite thing that used to be on the menu. read more

This Cold Stone near UCF is small and they don't seem to have a lot of choices compared to the store in Lake Mary, but either way the staff was friendly and we got our orders quickly. The quality of the product was the same and I didn't really expect my difference between any other store since they are franchised. Cold Stone used to be my favorite place to get ice cream but now I prefer to get a tub from Publix and my own toppings, but for a go-to place when in a hurry or trying to get an ice cream fix you can trust their product to fill the void. read more

Love this place! It's definitely my favorite chain ice cream spot to go to. I'm a fan of soft ice cream as opposed to hard, so to be able to pick out as many awesome toppings as I want and then have it delivered to me at the perfect creamy, soft texture is heavenly. However, if you're purely a fan of simple, plain ice cream I think that you'll be better satisfied elsewhere. Cold Stone is great for my ice cream tastes, but the ice cream itself doesn't impress me greatly. I am a fan purely for the toppings and the method of preparation. I haven't eaten cold stone in a while. Basically since I moved down from New York. First I would like to say the customer service was horrible. There wasn't a "hello welcome to cold stone" or any suggestions whatsoever. I ended up getting the "hot for cookies " which is $7.50 plus tax. I added a waffle cone total was close to $10 dollars. The "manager" name is Jorge. I literally took one bite out the entire thing. The cookie was very hard. The dough was cold. There wasn't much ice cream on it. As a matter of fact there was way more whip cream than there was ice cream. This would be the first and last time they receive any service from me. I went back and told the "manager" Jorge I was not happy with the way the order was made. Instead of saying " I apologize" and providing suggestions to make me a happy customer he simply said "there's nothing I can do. What do you want a refund? well I can't give you a refund." Ok well what else is there that you mr. Manager can do to ensure this customer leaves happy. This is the worst experience ever. Don't ever come here. Honestly the cold stone in Florida mall is way better. I will call corporate and let them know about this incident. My review is for the sorbet because I'm lactose intolerant. For those who want ice cream this is a good place to go for the variety. They have expanded to include sorbet flavors which I would like to take advantage of. But on the occasions I have visited they have a very limited selection of one or two flavors. None of which have been very good. What kind of flavor is pink champagne? It was like eating syrup with a tinge of acidity for the illusion of flavor. The raspberry is passable with mix ins but also overwhelmingly syrupy alone. Their bread and butter is ice cream and that they do well. Maybe one day the sorbet's will catch up. read more
