Not many non-dairy options, but was able to find a raspberry sherbet that was delicious. We ordered small sizes with lids since we weren't planning to stay on site to eat. They have ice cream cakes, which is cool, and lots of other options and things that you can add to your ice cream, should you choose. read more

I can't say anything about the ice cream because the service was absolutely terrible. We got there at 8:20 pm . There were two people behind the counter and three people in front of us. One girl helped customers at the speed of a snail. The other one continued to clean because I'm pretty sure she was trying to get out of there by nine. 8:55 PM still did not get our ice cream. We left. read more

Sad that cold stone has such low reviews considering I had a decent experience every time I go. My daughter and I were having a mommy and me date today and decided to get ice cream. It seemed pretty clean and of course the variety of options to choose from is overwhelming in a good way. It is slow in there so it came off that the employees didn't want to work considering the lady had to tell the other worker "they're ready" instead of him being alert but I don't really fault them on that, to me it's not a big deal. He looked at me and smiled and served us sweetly. My daughter just got cotton candy and I got the German chocolate cake creation. We got the like it size and altogether came to $12.84. Now I will say he didn't ask if I had rewards and by the time he told me the price, I had already handed my card and didn't feel like telling him at that point. But it is what it is, I'm not on that side of town enough to care too much. Now on to the taste... that German chocolate creation is to die for ! It has pecans, coconut, brownie and caramel and I am a chocolate lover so this was PERFECT! I honestly wish I could have more. My daughter loved her cotton candy ice cream but I think it was too much for her. I wish they had a kiddie size that's a bit smaller than the like it size. I think then she would have finished it. read more

Great ice cream!! Horrible experience! There was 3 young ladies working this afternoon and no one greeted customers. My daughter and I stood to the counter for maybe two minutes, and a young lady came up and asked did we want to place an order?! . As my daughter is ordering her ice cream, one of the other young ladies walked up and began to take the order of two other customers that came in. COMPLETELY overlooked me as if I was already serviced. I've heard horrible stories about the owner,so I can only assume that this is why the other employees have no sense of customer service as well. The business probably would thrive more if they were friendlier and had more training in customer service. read more

Ice cream is always great.... I'm originally from nyc and this is probably the worst cold stone I've ever been too... the employees are great, whom are not the manager... clearly he doesn't care about the presentation of his store seeing as they have had the same noise freezer thats been there since I moved here 10 yrs ago. If I was an employee I would pull my hair out. Wrote this review based on the fact it looked as if it was a girls first day... no one was helping her and she literally took out one scoop to mix in with my son marshmallows... literally by the time she put it in the cup half was already melted... I told her I wasn't paying $6 for a like it that my 3 yr old would be done with in two mouthfuls by the time we got down the road. She looked scared to add more... whatever... they need a new manager... or a new trainer. read more

Always busy. The line is always to the door. And ALWAYS just one employee!!!! This place need better Managment.

Waited 30-35 minutes patiently with a 3 year old and my husband who's a war vet with PTSD and Major anxiety for one of your workers to take another costumer and skip me and tells me oh I'm taking her you can wait for the other girl who's so busy taking door dash orders(HUH?!!) WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?! What's so different about that lady and her child?! WAS IT BECAUSE IM HISPANIC AM I NOT WHITE ENOUGH?! Or cause my husband and daughter have a different skin color what is it?!!! Y'all showed y'all behind today and got the right one! Getting in contact with corporate cause ain't no manager going to help but try to give me a percentage off some ice cream no thank you! read more

I have gone to goldstone PLENTY of times. Never have I. Experienced something like this!! I can visually see roaches crawling around the ice cream and the toppings. I told the manager and he said that he was aware of the roaches. I said the fact that you know that there are roaches crawling is ridiculous! Never again!!!!!!! And also, I understand that they haven't been getting much money because of there service and there discustingness of there store. read more

Came during open store hours, it was 9:20pm and it says they don't close until 10. I walked up and tried to open the doors, the employee working was sitting on the counter on her phone and didn't even try to acknowledge me. Like I'm literally here willing to give you guys my money and you ave your doors closed during store hours. What's wrong with you? read more

Owner/ manager is extremely rude to customers as well as his staff. Never in my life have I met such an angry man. I do not recommend this place at all! Seriously if the older gentleman with glasses is working, turn and walk away! He said he couldn't get good help, I wonder why, you're such a hateful soul. Treat your employees better!!! read more

Love this place !!! Their ice cream is one of the best I've ever eaten. Very clean and neat inside, ice cream looks very presentable. However I gave 3 stars because the older gentleman who was working there today, Edward had a very nasty attitude with us. Later on, I called and found that Edward was actually the manager of this store. He was poorly dressed, had on regular jeans and a frumpy shirt, looked very unprepared and unprofessional for work today. He rushed us while we were trying to pick our ice cream & i am uncertain as to why because there were no customers in the line behind us. I feel bad for the employees who work here, no wonder why they always have a 'Now Hiring' sign up because who would want to work for this guy anyway? Overall I love the ice cream but received poor customer service today. I would visit again as long as this guy isn't here. read more

I came here with my best friend because I love cold stone. When we were standing in line I can visually see the roaches crawling all over the ice cream toppings. I contemplated staying or going but then they just kept coming out of the corners. Baby roaches crawling. We decided it was so unsanitary we asked the cashier. And she said "they've had roaches and they were aware but the construction has caused them to come out". One, there was no construction being done at all near or in cold stone and two, they were baby roaches which means there is probably hundreds more. If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. I would never come back. I recommend going to marble slab down the road. read more

I don't know what it is about Cold Stone, but I just do not like it. The staff are slow, the ice cream is WAY overpriced (i.e. only one free topping?), the "fresh" cones taste stale, and the portion's are either too big or too small. Keep driving until you get to Marble Slab....much better ice cream, happier staff, less expensive, and higher quality. Don't eat here unless you are just trying to use up a gift card. read more

Well honestly I would give no stars, the owner was a complete jerk, he was working alone so that was the first red flag,, when we walked in he was on his cellular phone staring at the door, he didn't greet us , his whole demeanor was like I have a pick up order , who's first, talking to me and a friend. He went ahead and ordered then the pick up order guy came in and the look this bastard gave us was full off shit,, he even salted down marble slab when clearly marble slab has way better customer service for one they have workers..ok 2nd of all no one wants your sucky service, hot milk cream and over priced bullish you serve on those cheap ass cups, this is personal for me because he was a rude jerk HONESTLY he shout """SHUT IT DOWN""""" read more

This place is completely understaffed. They also make up the prices once you get to the register. My husband got a "like it" and paid $6.08 when the ice cream is only around $5. I know tax is not $1.08. I ordered a love it and only paid $5.98. I did not plan my day around being jibbed at coldstone. I would recommend avoiding this location at all costs. read more

Dear Management, PLEASE hire enough staff to actually run the place! No matter how many times I trek across Broad River, the line is always ridiculous and the staff always looks dismal and overwhelmed. I come here from alllllllll the way across town because no doubt, the product is superb. But 2 scoopers on an 80 degree day is bad for business. They're 150 kids at Irmo High looking for summer jobs right now. Find 5 happy ones and HIRE THEM ASAP!!! Cold Stone used to be a happy place where the staff sang for tips and smiled voluntarily. I feel bad for the kids who can't help but be sad when they look up to see 30 pissed people wondering where their co-workers are. I hope you guys get it together before summer really shows up. If you want great ice cream, don't care about service, and have 30 minutes to spare, this is the place for you... read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My partner and I visited this location a few months ago. We witnessed several roaches in the establishment. My partner alerted the owner and he told us that he would have the business exterminated. We decided to give it another try yesterday. When we walked in we weren't greeted at all. An older guy was working. The only thing out of his mouth was who's first. He didn't mix in any of the toppings and was very short. Not a good experience at all. read more

I love cold stone and this has amazing ice cream like all of the stores, but the service is not the best. A blonde teen was our server and looked so annoyed when we came in. My friends ordered their things and then I ordered. I told her what I wanted and she didn't ask if I wanted a cone or cup or anything. She just got a small cup and put in my ice cream, which wasn't even filled up. I was so confused, but I was fine with it. Then when she was helping each person in my group to pay, only three, she was rushing all of. She was rolling her eyes and tapping her finger nails trying to rush us. Which confused me since no one was in like behind us...besides the bad service the ice cream was amazing! I will be coming back, but not to this place. read more

If you like your ice cream served with scoops that fall on the floor, go here. Otherwise, stay far away from this place and it's terrible manager. I was in line for about 25 minutes, which was extremely long considering there were only a few customers ahead of me. The manager was so frustrating to watch as he micromanaged each employee there, which severely slowed everyone down. His main focus was on what appeared to be a new hire. She was very slow, but she seemed to be the only one actually taking orders. She scooped some peanut butter to mix in some ice cream and the manager came over and berated her for getting too much and made her put some back. A little while later, someone ordered ice cream with fruit mixed in and he took over to demonstrate how to properly mix it in. As he was explaining he dropped one of the scoops on the ground and proceeded to use it on the cold slab again, before putting it right back it in the bucket of water without ever cleaning it. He was so tedious being in everyone else's business but he neglected basic health protocol with his own work. My wife and I were so disgusted that after nearly 30 minutes of standing in line, we left. Yelp says they have a 100% health rating, but I think you should stay away from this location. read more

I am a customer that understands the occasional delay. I understand absenteeism and no-shows. These present opportunities to impress. Not tonight. On April 2, 2018 between 7p and 8p I stood in line with my 83 year old mother, while one employee worked tirelessly serving all the customers. Another employee puttered around doing small tasks as the line grew longer. She took time to talk to friends and others. She ignored customers in line. I assume there are guidelines on when to step in to serve based on the number of customers waiting. That did not happen. We waited nearly 40 minutes to be served. We left a tip as the one girl worked hard. It's a shame the tips are shared as this one employee deserved none of it. It was odd there were no others present except two young female employees. The lack of supervision created this situation. Love the ice cream but will be driving a bit further to Marble Slab read more

Very disappointing. I am in town for work and just wanted some ice cream after a long day. This location closes at 10pm. I walked in at 9:30pm and was told the marble slab part closes at 9:30pm every night and could only get plain ice cream. Even though I did not think this was the case I said no problem. I asked if I could do two flavors in a small. The girl helping me told me no initially and then decided to give me the two flavors. I would normally not give my money or business when I can detect bad service or employees that display attitude but I was tired and just wanted some ice cream. The drawers were being counted and employees were cleaning a half hour before close when I walked in. Coupled with the attitude it was clear they simply didn't want anymore customers for the night. I still said please and thank you even though I did not receive the same common courtesies. I would have been better off getting Haagen-Dazs from the grocery store. Next time that's exactly what I'll do. read more

Ive been the many cold stone across the US and only at this location do they not mix your ice cream and toppings you select(even though all the pictures advertised with their signature creations are mixed). Also, you can't order two flavors in the smallest size, it has to be in a medium cup or bigger. Pretty sure the purpose of the "cold stone" is so they can mix the ice cream and toppings and it will still stay cold. read more

Worth the wait because the line was crazy. The ice cream was crazy good and the cup cakes help me make new friends at work.

A rated for cleanliness. Owner supports our troops with a Fallen Comrade Table. Thank you...

Great ice cream with lots of fun toppings for kids and kids at heart! Bethany assisted us and was exceptionally sweet. Great experience!
