Gave us the wrong birthday cake (no there was no name requested on the cake just "Happy Birthday". Called the store in Wyoming and Paseo when we noticed. Only wanted our money back. I was told we could pick up a gift card. I drove 30 miles from out of town for the gift card only to be told " they knew nothing about the gift card" The people that work there are rude and so is their so called management. Which according to Gene, he holds the highest position for Cold Stone Creamery other than CEO. The complete lack of customer service ESPECIALLY, when they were 100% in the wrong on all levels is mind blowing to me. I will no longer give business to any Cold Stone. DO BETTER read more

This place is very inviting with the wonderful pictures and colorful menu items and the way it's arrange. They have various flavors of ice Cream and nondairy options. They also offer ice cream cakes. However, be aware that prices are insanely high and when you pay you are forced to put a tip. The ice cream itself the cup of about 4-6 ounces or so with two add on toppings was 12 bucks! Thai tony little cup of ice cream for my toddler ended costing me 12 bucks. The flavors and taste was not surprising or outstanding to make me want to go back and spend an insane amount of money of something that should be half of its price. read more

The lobby area was extremely dirty. All the tables appeared to be sticky and had food on them. The male that took our order was respectful but did not use gloves (all three employees were not wearing gloves) when making our ice cream, he also decided to cough into one of the bowls as he was handing it to us. He appeared to be under the influence judging by the movements of his jaw/tongue and appearance of his teeth. I do not recommend this cold stone. There are much better places to get ice cream elsewhere. read more

This place has always been fairly overpriced but at least the portions were reasonable. The kids cup of ice cream I just received could not have been more than a tablespoon of ice cream with 3 strawberries for a total of $4.50. Customer service was great, but I just can't justify going here with these portions. read more

Would give the last star to them because they're awesome but they allowed a woman with a dog who was clearly not a service dog inside. I am allergic to dogs and had to leave immediately after realizing they weren't going to ask her to leave. If a hair flew into my ice cream I could be hospitalized, this is against health codes for a reason. read more

Great place to order birthday cakes, as it's a cake and ice cream in one! We don't eat a ton of ice cream on the premises, nor would I be tempted to do so in the future as the cleanliness is hit or miss. But the ice cream cakes slap, and they are always ready when promised. Thanks so much for all of the cakes over the years! read more

Store hours 11:00 open. Made a special trip today to buy a gift - arrived at 11:10. Place was locked up and not open. My guess is that they are either out of business or that they need a new manager. I do not recommend. read more

This is what you will get at this coldstone. They are horrible here- I dunno if this is based on racism or laziness but this is not fair. Manager teddi refused to give a refund, or even give us a full box. Horrible horrible. This location is a franchisee and I will be reporting to the corporate office. If they are using the coldstone name they should deliver on the coldstone quality and customer service. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT SPEND UR MONEY HERE. read more

I love this place. Founder's Favorite and anything coffee or vanilla flavored. You can choose from the menu item combinations, or make your own for them to mix in the ice cream you choose. You can also get prepacked pints and more. You can order ice cream cakes! I might have to go up there right now...lol read more

It's coldstone! What else is there to really say. The ice cream is consistent and the toppings are generally pretty safe. This spot seems to be always playing early 2000s throwbacks so the nostalgia of coldstone really hits home. The staff were friendly and were very helpful. Nothing spectacular but nothing disappointing too read more

Again, had another gift card (see previous Cold Stone post). My dad and I came here- I was to order an ice cream creation, he a frozen yogurt. He couldn't get a straight answer from the worker (a young male) as to whether or not it had trace of milk in it and didn't want to chance it, so we left empty handed. I decided to return a few weeks later to use up the gift card and came back on a 90 degree day (sounds perfect, right?). I got some sort of peanut butter creation. Unfortunately, Cold Stone doesn't provide you with a to-go lids ans said peanut butter creation became sticky peanut butter puddle all over my hands and cup holder during the 10 minute drive home. I swear if I was speeding I would've had the perfect excuse that my ice cream melted. (The Cold Stone website also provides a lot of entertainment. Now, here me out. Picture you have a big test to study for that you're trying to procrastinate for. Simply go on to the Cold Stone website and voila. I remember this place was a fan favorite! We would stop in and have our ice cream mixed. It was fun and we had a great interaction with folks behind the counter. As the kids got older, we didn't go as often but we thought we'd make a special trip tonight. What a mistake that was! Not only was the girl behind the counter a little salty twit, our order was wrong and it was just an overall crap experience. Slamming orders onto the counter, saying "Hhhhh" when the next person would come up to order, making no effort to be pleasant, and just being an overall snot! This little girl made all the right gestures and sounds showing her discontent. The gal that ordered before us should have been an indicator of what we should expect. Cold Stone used to be a cool place.....key words......USED TO BE! Looks like we won't be going back since it would seem how they've taken a downhill scoop! read more

This ice cream was so sweet it was impossible to taste anything but sugar. I understand that ice cream is meant to be sweet, but this was so overwhelming that I couldn't finish it. It feels like sugar was used to substitute flavor. It also left an aftertaste of manufactured sweetness and corn syrup in my mouth. read more

We came in to buy ice cream for 5 individuals, and after decided to buy ice cream cookies to go. We were having a generally good time, but as we were leaving, the container of ice cream sandwiches was accidently dropped, popped open and spilled out all over the floor. We went back to see if they would replace our $12 cookie sandwiches. The manager Adriana told me, "Um, I don't think we can just give you new ones." Then instead of offering any kind of help, I had to prod her to call the general manager to see if she could give us new ones. Then she told me that the general manager said he would "call her back." So after 20 minutes of waiting, we decided to purchase a new ones and leave. This is some really unfortunate customer service. Guess I won't be going back to Cold Stone. read more

I will not be back! The girl at the counter on 1/19 at 7:15 was rude and you could tell she hates her job. I politely asked for Half gallon of Oreo overload. She said "that's going to take me awhile" very rudely. After she started mixing it she said she was out of chocolate chips. I asked her to put more Oreos in. I paid and she was rude. Kept my cool and was polite. Well, just got home..there is hardly any Oreos!!!! It's just ice cream with chocolate syrup! It's expensive and I will NOT go there. This one girl working on 12/15 at 7:30 at night was so rude. She asked questions abruptly and as I asked for my order was terribly rude altogether about making my order. As I she started making my order I asked for lids on my cups then she continued to ignore and put Saran Wrap on them instead without a word from her. She gave me my total and was rude about me putting in a phone number, told me the total again, then as I finished and did not want a receipt I did not hear a word from her as I left the store. Overall I love this place as it has nice people with super good ice cream, but whoever this girl is needs to get out because she isn't helping the business whatsoever. read more

I visited your 8100 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albq., NM 87113 location today where the manager cursed at me because I wanted to pay with a $50 bill & then threatened to call the cops when I asked for customer service number. More details: I visited this location at around 2:30pm. I had just come from the USPS store from next door where I opened a belated birthday card that had a $50 bill in it. I went next door to this Cold Stone. A short Brunette greeted me. I asked that she make me a strawberry flavored one. She started to make it and then I noticed a sign that read "no bills larger than a $20." She appeared just as I finished reading the sign. I said I'm sorry, all I have is this $50 bill. She replied that I was gonna have to go to the bank then. And I said I was not going to do that. Then she said she had signs clearly posted and rudely pointed to it. I told her that I would just take my business else where then. I started to walk out the door as I hear her yell "Bye Bitch!" And I hear her throwing the ice cream loudly into a trash can. I turned around and said excuse me. And she ran to the back room. I said again, excuse me and then asked for her supervisor. From the back room, she yelled "I'm the fucking manager and if you don't leave, I'm calling the cops." I asked for corporate and she threatened to call the cops again. So I googled the customer service number and made the complaint on the spot while she stayed in the back. I'm writing my complaint here so that everyone knows what kind of management Cold Stone employs. I will not be returning and I have made sure to tell everyone I know. Bye Cold Stone. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - My $6 half cup of disappointment. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Today we decided to have cold stone not the first time that we have had it but today we decided to choose this location. And we ordered and immediately the worker was bothered by what we ordered, and when it was done we didn't even know it was done because she just put it there without telling us it was finished so we were looking around just kind of not really paying much attention we saw that it was done. And I ordered a love it that's the size of the ice cream cup and she gave me a like it and when I asked her about it she said "oh I must've just put it in a smaller cup" so my first thought was well I paid for the medium cup not the small cup and she has the audacity to say well I could make you some more just put some more in there I just chose to use the smaller cup when we paid for the medium cup. We were in awe by her not taking accountability for her mistake and not correcting it instead she just said yeah I decided to put in a smaller cup when we paid for the medium cup which was quite ridiculous and very unprofessional. We ended up leaving with the smaller cup because we were more shocked but wanted to post this hoping it'll help others! read more
