The staff at Cold Springs have been nice but unfortunately that has been our only positive experience since buying our camper. Once we signed the paperwork everything changed. We went to our demo excited to pick up our camper and start making memories. The tech doing our demo, while nice, was not knowledgeable about our camper and on multiple occasions pointed us in the direction of Google and YouTube. We got the trailer home and it was time to unhitch it from our truck. The jack stopped working due to the battery not being fully connected- something we assumed they would have made sure was completed. There was also water found within the inline fuse making it soaking wet. That was not the end. While putting the slide out we blew a fuse and had to replace them. There was also cracks in the molding we were assured would be fixed but it wasn't. Once we were finally able to get inside, things continued to get worse. There were cobwebs all over the place, leftover food in the microwave and grill from previous owners, a dead spider in the bed among other issues. It took over two hours to clean what we expected and were told would be done prior to picking the camper up. We reached out to both the salesman and finance manager we worked with as surely this couldn't be the level of customer service they feel is appropriate. We were given their sincerest apologies and assured our feedback would be used to train staff. When our battery died during this time period they offered to replace it. Unfortunately that was not the end of our bad experience. While preparing for our first trip we had to stop at a dump station as there was waste in the black tank that hadn't been emptied. On that first camping trip the front half of the underbelly of camper peeled off. This was another concern that we noted when looking at the camper and were assured that it would be taken care of and was "fine". Instead of being able to enjoy our camper we purchased, all enthusiasm has been taken from us as we worry and stress about what's going to happen next and what else might not have been caught by us or by Cold Springs staff when they allegedly inspected the camper.  If you buy a used camper from Cold Springs PLEASE do your due diligence to make sure the camper is inspected fully and the work you were told would be done is completed. read more

What a shame. Been with them since buying an RV 4 years ago. From the get go problems. Fortunately they were receptive and took care of them from the Sales side. Service side was fine in 2021-2022 and on top of there game. Then 2023-2024 hit and what a nightmare. All service took Months and never was it fixed the first time. My last service just ended after ray (The GM) kept my RV from November 2023 to April 23 2024 (5 months). Still was not fixed. Radio, batteries dead,rusted areas, Engine light on Level system problem and they were going to let me drive off. We were considerate,never negative and patient. Now that I am asking to simply finish one last detail ray says I need to find another service ctr. So he whined in an email below. After he said communication in his dept. was a problem, I asked him to respond to me after almost a week of waiting. His EM pertaining to the SSD card: Hi Paul, I apologize , I'm sure it's still in the old radio, I will check with the girls and warranty dept on Monday and see if the old radio is still here or already got sent back for warranty, if it already got sent back I will get you another micro sd card.. He said he would get me another one. I am asking for it as Navigation is imperative. So I was waiting. Then he sends the one below saying too bad I am not getting you one because I asked what the update was and communication was still a problem. Paul, My girls have been instructed that I would communicate with you since your last visit going forward, so thats on me! with our campground and every other one we deal with opening up this week i've / we've been spread a little thin! I have been in our campground and shop all week until 8pm+ dealing with issues and will be for the next month! Its not an excuse its just my reality! If that's how the radio was sent to us, thats how it came! We would not have removed it! This was a replacement through extended warranty and not the OEM. The cards are NOT radio specific! So please use the one that you have from the old radio! I think going forward it will be in your best interest to find a different service center, we will never unfortunately live up to your expectations! Cold Springs RV is truly a great place to purchase an RV. We just purchased our second RV after 20 years with our other one. The customer service is amazing! It is a family run dealership so you are not bounced around and ignored. 20 years later you see the same friendly faces! Our salesperson Jimmy was helpful and informative. He was also very patient with the many questions we had. Even on Jimmy's day off he still would respond to us. Norm is excellent! We actually purchased our first camper 20 years ago from Norm. We got to see him again as he is a manager. He helped us and took his time to explain everything on the financing process as well as questions with the RV. May of 2024 we bought our first fifth wheel Norman and Ray, the manager for the service department and His crew were unbelievable friendly picked up the camper issues that we found one we got lied to when the stupid person that did the walk-through it I believe his name is John. I knew he was a liar. He took upon himself and wrote everything down Thought was wrong a blank piece of paper that already showed me that these people sucked. I've been waiting since July 1 warranty things to be done. I've emailed sent pictures still waiting. I'd be very very careful buying from this place. They should combine together and go work with Campers inn at least Campers inn might even be better at least call you back. read more

Great customer service and management team does a great job working with customers to put new owners in their first RV

Brought our camper back on July 24th to have some work done it and because of some leaking issues. Felt great leaving it there after a long talk with one of the employees. Between then and now, there has been very little communication with them and 4 different stories told to us, when we were finally able to get a hold of someone. Long story short, they said they did a spray test and found out two entry points for the leaking issue. Come to find out, when we decided to stop by unannounced yesterday, Sept. 7th To confront someone and find out what was going on (no one could provide answers) and find out where it was being kept, only to find out it has been kept on an open lot in the far back unprotected from the weather & UNLOCKED!!! Why would a RV service shop leave a camper they know has leaking issues in an open lot unprotected from the rain for almost 46 days!! Not even Giving us a call, letting us know that they can't get to it anytime soon and giving us the option of removing it. NEVER recommending this place to anyone! Thanks for the added water damage Cold Springs!!! When we got home, we opened up our camper and slid out the bump out only to find the water damage. We brought it in for was tripled in size thanks to their stupidity of leaving it unprotected in the rain for almost 2 months. Thank god we got it last night because it ended up pouring shortly after we got home and we don't live too far from the service shop, so it would have sat there again for yet another rain storm unprotected!! And let's not talk about the massive amount of dead carpenter ants that were everywhere inside when we opened up at the lot!! read more

From start to finish a stellar overall experience! We started with Jeff in sales and were in contact with many other departments. It's a tough time with all the COVID related issues, but the Cold Springs team were very communicative and honest all around. Thanks go out to Kristin, Ray, Norm, Dennis and anybody else whose name escapes me. Norm did not pressure us when we were deciding on an ESP, yet was very helpful and informative. We also stayed a couple of nights in their neighboring campground resort to "break in" our new to us used coach. They may have had some delays due to Covid but they are using that as an excuse out of lack of help and unprofessional habits. They take your money and give you nothing but a headache in return. I would NEVER recommend anyone buy anything from here. I know many people that have gotten ripped off from this dealership both campers from the campground and others that bought something and travel with it. Made an appointment for a water heater replacement in new RV. Called 3 days before bringing it up there (5 hour round trip) to make sure they had received the water heater. 8 calls later, I called the water heater distributer in IN, only to be told that Cold Springs never ordered it! I called Cold Springs parts department and was told to talk to service. When I talked to service, they told me that they had to check with Parts!?!? They tap danced around their lie to the point where I just gave up. read more

I just bought a new camper this year And when I went to use it Memorial Day weekend I had no water pressure I also damaged the awning so when I brought it in to have the awning replaced They also checked the water system by hooking a hose up to the camper and running the water in the sink It turns out everything was fine with the water system My problem was the $74 bill I got for 5 minutes worth of work To check the water I don't know if the mechanics work on a commission but they will nickel and dime you MY advice is try to fix it yourself read more

Absolute nightmare.... if you're an rv owner or thinking about ownership do not under any circumstances go to Cold Springs RV. We unfortunately did and paid the price. We took our 2017 Highland Ridge 5th wheel to them on 7/1/19 which we had purchased elsewhere and was assured by there service manager they required 5 - 7 days to repair. They kept the rv until 10/15/19 which meant the seasonal spot we had paid $5,000.00 for we did not get to use.. The campground where we had paid for the year was closing and we had to fight with them to store our rv for the winter. Naturally they charged us to winterize the rv which we would have had done for free at our campground. They told us it was completely done on 10/17/19. We drove up there on 10/18/19 and the work they performed looked like a kindergarten child had done it. We expressed how bad it was and they told us they would redo it. Most of the work they supposedly performed we still have no idea if they did since we have not had our rv back. Fast forward to 5/13/20. We contacted them to tell them we were picking up our rv to bring it to the campground and were informed that the rv awning which was the main reason we took it to them in the first place was never repaired. They literally lied continuously to us. Not only was it not repaired but now they need to order parts to repair it with no dates on when they will be available but that we must bring the rv back to them when the parts arrive which is a 4 hour trip each way. Again they take no responsibility for their actions telling us it's not there fault but blaming it on Highland Ridge. Naturally they never offer to migrate our loss of time or money... Worst experience we ever had with any rv dealer. read more

Never did the original work RV was dropped off for after two weeks of being there. Didn't return my voice messages timely, or at all. They felt it important to question my accuracy on if I really called by checking the 'phone call log' so I showed him my placed call list on my cell phone. I regret not researching the reviews before bring it there. After dropping it off I told a friend where we were having the work done. They were mortified and asked me if it was too late to get it out of there. Lesson learned, never again. The salespeople in the dealership seemed very nice and were helpful. read more

We took our class B RV here for a macerator hose replacement, free first time customer seal check, propane tank refill, and two issues with curtain clip and front blind track. We supplied the hose, and the tank and existing hose were clean and had been winterized. We had done this job ourselves once before in under an hour but could not attempt this time due to weather. They are not a Winnebago dealer and could not do anything including ordering parts for the blind and curtain issues. The propane tank was only filled to 3/4. The paint above the propane door was scratched and they charged us 2 hours for a job that could have been done in under an hour. All in all it was a very frustrating experience and we will not return. read more

Brought in my Allegro Bay for warranty repair on my leveler jack. The service department took a look at it and said all it needed was a little fluid. We paid the fee, did some camping and again had the same problem. We took it back in again for warranty repairs for the same issue. When we dropped it off the person at the desk said that there would be a $100 diagnostic fee that would only be charged if no warranty problem was found... if they found a problem covered by the warranty then the warranty would cover the fee. When we picked it up, they again said all it needed was some fluid. We paid the service fees along with the $100 diagnostic fee and went on our way. A few days later, on a trip to Maine the problem was still there. Going thru Epsom, NH, we stopped at Bill's RV and had them look at it. They discovered a faulty part, called the warranty company, got authorization that the service was covered and did the repairs. Everything has been working great since then. Bottom line? Two ruined vacations, and several useless trips to Cold Springs for warranty work. Needless to say, I'll never do business with Cold Springs RV again. read more

They leave all of their units open for you to shop and enjoy the layouts, unlike the Big multiple state dealers that need to escort you to each unit to unlock . Recently we purchased a 9 year used Motorhome from Cold Springs RV. A nine year old unit could indeed be a risky buy. During our decision making some reports caused us concern; but, we liked the unit and felt the reports might be onesided or dated. In retrospect our gut was right as Cold Springs treated us very well. The salesman was very open and honest in showing the unit and pointing out any concerns we could face and areas Cold Springs would address prior to delivery. We also feel we were presented a very fair sale pprice. After delivery we had some issues with the generator and refrigerator. These were things that could easliy be missed during prepartion and we were concerned Cold Springs might not assume responsibility; however, it turns out we are very pleased with the level of responsibility they did assume. The service staff was very competent, professional, and courteous. The refrigerator issue was intermittent and took more than one trip -- on each the staff was understanding of our inconvienence (we live 95 miles away) and did their best to ensure we were happy. The repairs were not inexpensive yet we were never approached with bills. We believe Cold Springs must have improved its staffing and business model in recent years as based on prior reports we would not have had the positive experiance we did. So -- why not a 5 star? It did take us more that one trip. But, in fairness it was as stated intermittent and during one of the business time of the year for RV dealers. Besides - no one really believes 5 stars anyway. We will procure our next unit fron Cold Springs as we plan to upgrade in a few years. read more

I looked for weeks at other dealers. I went to the big dealers first and felt like I was bothering them with all my questions. I am new to camping and did not know exactly what I was looking for. When I went to cold springs, all the campers were open, no one came out to pressure us. We finally found the one we liked the best. I went into the office, talked to a salesperson who asked me a bunch of questions. Come to find out, I could not tow it as it was too heavy. After a couple hours, we did find the one we loved and could tow. We picked it up the next week and have been loving it. I have sent my friends there as well, as they treat people right.
