I then learned it was best to reserve a taxi for very early morning or late night arrivals because taxis aren't readily available like they are at larger airports. Troy returned my call after I left a message. He provided friendly, outstanding, and thorough communication on the phone and via text when arranging a ride for my daughter, who was to arrive around midnight from San Diego at the Redmond Airport to attend a family wedding the following day in Bend. I was worried that her flight might run late, and Troy said his flat-rate service included waiting for late arrivals, even if it meant the flight was 2 hours late. That was a big relief. True to his word, her flight was about 30 minutes late, and he was tracking the flight on his phone. He was ready and waiting outside as soon as she exited the airport. Even though they were tired from a long day of work and travel, my daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed his pleasant company that included interesting commentary about the area, just like a tour guide. His caring for us girls didn't go unnoticed either- he made sure all girls were accounted for every time we got on the bus, used his flashlight to make sure we didn't fall off the bus when getting off, and made sure we were safe getting back on the bus, shielding us from oncoming cars. Gail set my mind at ease and gave me many options to consider. The hotel was adorable and within walking distance of the consulate and the flights were just when I needed. She also went above and beyond travel agent duties in helping me with the visa process, which is really no fun, and rather intimidating. Gail is my new go to travel gal, totally recommend.
