A month before our trip to Italy I made a reservation with them to pick us up at 4:00Am to drive us to Redmond airport. They confirmed. Two days before we left I called again to reconfirm. The night before the morning we were to leave I got a text from them asking if they could pick us up at 3:45 Am instead of 4:00 because they were busy. I replied "no problem ". At 4:00 AM they hadn't shown up yet so we called them. They told us they couldn't pick us up until 45min to an hour later. "They were too busy" even though they had the reservation. Third time in a week I've been completely blown off with no phone call to say they were no longer available. The guy who answers is so rude and mean it really upset me. He hung up on me and that's not the first time. I'm trying to get some stomach relief for my family member. I need to get to the mini mart so he can get thru the night. 12/09/2022 , My wife was trying to head home and contacted Bend Taxi service due to the heavy snowfall. She waited until an co-worker offered her an ride home . She called the company to cancel the trip. When she got home the Owner left her an nasty text that was extremely unprofessional stating that she will never ride with them again. These guys basically stranded me. I made a reservation for a pickup for a late night flight into the Redmond airport. I was contacted by the driver that day confirming this. I was ghosted by the driver, never heard back from them when i messaged them again once I got into the airport. Dispatch kept insisting that my ride was on the way, and it was only when I pressed them for a timeframe that dispatch actually found a driver to come get me. The driver would have arrived over an hour after my actual reservation, at which point I found another service that could actually get me home immediately. I made the reservation so I wouldn't have to worry about this kind of stuff, but if the company can't keep the reservation, I don't believe I can trust the company. read more

Terrible experience. Scheduled transportation to Redmond airport for 3:15a pick up. Called them at 3:25a asking where they were, at which point they told us that the van we booked was not available and would send a small car; which would not fit all of us nor our ski stuff. They did not let us know when booking that their van was not available or call us in the morning of any issues. DO NOT BOOK. We barely made our flights because of Uber and Lyft. read more

I would absolutely under no circumstances ever use Bend cab again. They outsource their dispatch, and the dispatch has no regard for the fact that you may be going to the airport, even though she knows that. My driver was 25 minutes late to pick me up and he felt terrible and it was not his fault. I called the dispatch two hours before they were going to come to make sure they would be on time. I called the night before. And I called three days before that making sure I was covered. She still sent him on another fair before picking me up. Don't even bother literally the most uncaring unprofessional unreliable business in central Oregon period I would rather walk down the parkway blindfolded and naked during rush hour than ever rely on this establishment for anything left my girlfriend out in the cold for 3 hours in freezing temps just to no call no show it literally took a great deal of effort to be this lousy ,thanks for showing me walking to the airport would be more reliable I hope it hurts to be that awful. read more

Your drivers are awesome but your dispatch is not worth what you are paying them. Called and set up a a couple scheduled pickups for early am and was told that they were on thier way. Pickup up time comes and goes and no driver, so I call back asking when the driver going to show up. Sorry going to be another 20-30 min., or they forget to dispatch the driver ( happened at least 2 times.), or never picked up because they feel asleep ( happen to at least 3 people and I a couple times). About to loose a loyal costumer if it dose not get fixed. read more

Dispatch was fine. My taxi arrived on time. The driver was a loser. He asked how much I wanted to tip after we arrived at the airport. I said 20%. He tacked on an additional 5% and never said "thank you" nor did he offer to take my bags out from the cab. I typically use EnviroShuttle and they have been Awesome! I called Bend Cab because Enviroshuttlewas busy and I was given a $35 quote and the fee on arrival at my destination was $50. I Mentioned to the driver and he didnt seem to care. I called Bend Cab, driver called back and said he would refund difference. Never Happened! On top of that he (the crooked, lying driver) gave himself a $6.50 tip that I did approve of or give him because of my poor, untruthful, deceiving service. I Called the Bend Cab company a second time and they didnt help me out. I should go after them for fraud and the driver as well. Had a client that had a similar issue with them as well. Do Not use them. They are liars and cheats. read more

Having left my car at Brandy Automotive for repair I needed a ride home. The dispatcher asked my starting point and I told him Brandy Automotive on Lafayette. Dispatcher said cab would be there within 1/2 hour. To make sure I didn't miss it I went outside a stood in Brandys driveway for 1/2 hour, watching every sedan, van, pickup or SUV that passed me Not one cab. So after waiting all that time I called Bend cab and cancelled. The dispatcher said the cab drove by but didn't see anyone. Either the driver is a liar or the dispatch is a liar or they are both liars because I'm certain that I know what a cab looks like and not one cab drove by me. I had to take a cab from the airport and back to the airport while recently in Bend .. Both were pre-arranged rides and both times the driver was early, his car was older but very clean, and both drivers were friendly and non-scary (in driving skills and personality). We were in Sisters for a wedding and really didn't plan on transportatio. We used a local company to get us to two destinations and they were supposed to pick us up also but never answered our calls so had to walk to our hotel. The drivers are friendly and most of them seem to drive safely, but quickly. The cabs I've taken are clean and smell pleasant. Also, the drivers I've had pick me up pretty quickly. My average wait is like 5-10 mins. Very impressive. My biggest complaint is pricing. They charge like $3 per mile, and it can get pricey at times. read more

I was in Bend over the weekend and I called around 9:30 Saturday evening for a cab. Someone answered the phone. I advised I needed a cab and they asked for my location which I gave. They said ok, it'd be around 30 minutes and hung up. With Brewfest going on, I understood it would be busy. However, It was strange that they didn't ask for my name, were I was going or a contact number to contact me back. After 45 muinutes of waiting, still no cab. I tried calling the same number back again, numerous times and would continue to geta "busy" signal. Needless to say, the cab never showed up, think it would have been nice to let me know that there was a slim to NO chance of them not coming and I got to spend a lovely evening at home. Totally unreliable. Please do not trust early morning airport service with them!! Perhaps they need a better reservation system, but we scheduled a pick up for 3:30am to the airport. By 3:35am they can not come, so we called. Got some mumble-jumble about it maybe being 3:45am, so we waited. STILL no one showed. Its a good thing we had a back-up plan to get to the airport, or else flights would have been missed. What is one to do at 3:30am when your cab does not show? Its not like you can just call a friend. Cab company made NO effort to make it right, did not apologize or offer any type of help. We will be using EnviroShuttle instead from now on. Bend Cab was called to give my spouse a ride home from the ER when he was not quite himself. The cabbie Alan Bendy claimed that 2 spots on the backseat were put there by my spouse. Each spot was maybe 3-4" in diameter. I really doubt they inspect the backseat after every ride so who knows how the spots got there. Maybe my spouse did put them there but the scam I experienced was he charged me 200$ for a total detail of the cab!!!!! There was a social worker there and a few police officers and they too suspected a scam! So for cleaning the 2 spots i was charged the price for cleaning a cab inside and out! Yeah i know where that 200$ went..... right into his pocket! So if you sue Bend Cab Company BEWARE you may get scammed! read more

I used bend cab for several years and they were satisfactory. I always call days ahead. I reserved a 6 person vehicle and a regular car showed up. I called in and refreshed the man's memory-at first he argued with me. They did send a van 15 minutes later. I reserved a cab ahead and that morning dispatch called and cancelled me because of the weather. That's why we called the cab. Days ago I reserved a cab for 4:45 pm. Yesterday am I called to confirm-it was slightly snowing and didn't want to be cancelled again. He assured me all was fine. At 4:55 pm I texted "is the driver on his way?" No response. I started dialing the number and it was busy from then until 5:10 when my uber arrived. Moments later the other driver called to say he was in my driveway. I said you're 25 minutes late. He said he didn't know about that. He said I should have called to cancel. I said I tried but the phone was busy. He was so rude and hung up on me. I scheduled ride from their app in the morning, then, knowing they weren't super reliable callled to confirm. 10 minutes after they were supposed to pick us up a guy called and said they had no cabs to send to get us. I politely pointed out that they had confirmed by email and phone. The guy who called then went on a tirade saying they were the crappiest (in more coarse terms) company in town and that he just showed up in his shift and was having to tell 5 people that they would not have rides. I took one of their cabs about a week ago and it was awful. I only had a $100 bill or a credit card to pay with and the driver threw a fit. He drove me to a 7-11(it was on the way) to have them break my bill. The 7-11 couldn't do it so he said we had to go to an ATM for me to get a small bill. We were three blocks from home so I told him I wasn't going to an ATM with him- he could either take my cash or my card. He even had the correct change but he said it was going to wipe him out for the evening. He was such a jerk he thought it was better to force the customer to go to an ATM than for him to take the cash and go break it after we were out of the cab. Or he could take my credit card but that he said wasn't an option because of all the fees he has to pay for that. What a creep this guy was. Use someone else. Bend Cab's drivers aren't all bad probably but this guy was a slimeball. read more
