It is clear that she has a wealth of experience dealing with children who may be apprehensive about getting a haircut. She is gentle, efficient, quick, and above all good natured. It's almost as if she knows how your child will react better than you do! The salon also features a small slide and plenty of toys. I didn't have to wait though, they took me right away. They also had two kids working the register who spoke french so communications wasn't an issue (only the lady who washed my hair couldn't speak english/french, the guy who cut my hair talked to me in english). The lady who washed my hair was really thorough but gentle. She even dried my ears with the towel which I don't think anyone else has ever done before. After that I switched chairs and a man asked me what I was looking for (get rid of split ends) and he started cutting my hair. He was efficient and quick ( a bit too quick, he did poke me hard in the face twice). And at the end he curled the ends a bit which was really nice. It make it look really cute. I had forgotten to read the sign and it was 28$, more than I usually want to pay for a haircut but that was my fault. Overall, I was satisfied with the cut and the service. Not only did they ruin my hair with choppy layers but also the customer service is terrible ! I couldn't stop crying after my haircut and first visit and the owner Sam reached out to me asking for me to go visit again. He wanted to "fix" my haircut and I went on the same day as I appreciated the gesture. There was NO APOLOGY whatsoever . I got soaked in the rain the second time I went (as it was raining) . Sam started lecturing me on the fact that I'm young, my hair will grow back etc . They did not even offer some hot water or anything. There are two owners . One is a woman and the other is a man named Sam. The woman gave me a haircut and she chopped everything off! I said I did not want conditioner and she kept saying I need it. Also, I didn't want layers she gave me layers. I wrote it down in French, exactly the haircut I wanted but she refused to read it. Sam refused to apologize for any of this- my discomfort, the time I spent visiting them the horrible haircut. According to him, it was not horrible. They said I was lucky to get to sit on their chair. I never met such arrogant and self obsessed hair dressers. Never visit them again. Avoid at all cost if you care about your hair. Now I have a choppy cheap chair it. Sam didn't have a curve scissors to adjust the layers. They are not well educated in the hair space at all. Worst haircut of my life.
