Policy: "if you are over 15 mins late you will have to wait or reschedule"…read more Actuality: if you're more than 5mins late one of the extremely friendly and oh so understanding females give you zero attitude and kindly tell you to reschedule. Mind you, the sign/policy clearly says 15mins, literally at the check in window. I understand doctors time is oh so precious, but things do happen. And normally I'm very understanding, but this office does not respect the patients time. Over the summer I drive 2.5 hours home from the shore, got to my appointment 15/20 moms early, and the Dr/Whomever was administering this test (which they only do once a month), had left early. No phone call, apology, just that, "oh s/he left early"z Also, it's a shame the woman at the desk aren't more helpful, understanding, or better yet human, otherwise this office might be alright.

Now it's the Dr. of the month club. 4 different doctors the last 4 visits, each trashing the other. The 2 brothers hated each-other and weren't shy about telling you. If you want to re-fill your RX, they make you make an appointment "because they don't know you." When you go, it's nothing more than a glorified drugs-for-money exchange. They look at you, give you an RX and a bill. I finally gave up and found a new practice. They could care less about you.

Abandoned in the Pandemic. My family and I have been…read morepatients with Dr. Anthony Chianese for over a decade. I had systems of Covid and wanted to talk(just talk, not visit) the doctor to get a referral for a testing center. I was told by the front office I was not in the system, probably due to not being there for a few years. I asked if they just could re-add me in and here is my Insurance info,etc... I was told nope, "not taking on any new patients, um SORRY". I wasn't a new patient. This came from the lady in the front office. STRIKE NUMBER 3. Years ago the front office lost my daughters medical records and took the rude attitude that it was our fault they lost there own records. This came from the lady in the front office. STRIKE NUMBER 2. Years ago I went to the office for a procedure and the front office coded it wrong, meaning many calls to the insurance company, also I had to ask Chianese's office 3x's until the correct code was changed and sent. Again was treated like we were bothering the lady in the front office to correct her mistake. This came from the lady in the front office. STRIKE NUMBER 1. The common thread is that I'm guessing this same rude office lady has been with the office many years. DISCLAIMER- DR CHIANESE IS A GOOD DOCTOR - NO QUESTION THERE. BUT- he has to take responsibility on how his office is ran. GOOD NEWS-I'm feeling a lot better and doing well. BAD NEWS-Can not count on Dr. Chianese on being there when needed.(during a pandemic non the less) The gift I give this office is this story I will tell to all I know in the Cinnaminson/Delran/Riverside area. Sad part is I won't have to lie or exaggerate, just tell the true story.

I have been going to Dr. Anthony Chianese since I was 3 years old when he used to see children and…read moreadults. I'm now 39 years old. In the beginning, he cared about me and my family's well being and you could tell through his work. My father pointed out to me that everytime he goes to Dr. Chianese for a chest cold, his diagnosis was always an Upper Respiratory Infection because we were born with asthma. My father found a new family doctor. Although I moved over an hour away from the office, I didn't have a bad experience so I continued to drive to him. Over he last few years, I've notice that the service has drastically decreased. Now, Dr. Chianese is more focused on getting money from my Insurance Company instead of my well being. 36 years later, enough is enough. I requested my medical records to transfer to another doctor. I was told I would be called when they're ready for pick up. Now, 3 weeks later, I still haven't received a call or anything saying I can pick them up. Today, I call, and no one knew what I was talking about. I told the receiptionist what I was going through, how upset I was, and asked that she let Dr. Chianese know...thinking I would get a call from him. No. He didn't even bother to call me and address my concerns...after 36 YEARS of being his patient. If your seeking a doctor, KEEP LOOKING. He's not the one anymore. I think he's ready to retire because service has plummeted! If you are really looking for a doctor that cares, don't go to Dr. Chianese...because he doesn't care at all....unless your Insurance over pays. Then, he'll be your best friend...until the money runs out!
