Dr. Brian Moore is the consumate professional physician. I have yet to address a topic in his field that he is not familiar with. This is extremely reassuring to anyone who is concerned about how "up on things" their medical professional is. It also allows his patients to have the most up to date information presented to them. I have been a patient since 2004 and have always had the utmost confidence in my choice of Dr. Moore to oversee my health. He is a very caring and attentive doctor, you will receive his undivided attention which is uncommon in the medical field today. The best thing is his experience, you can't buy experience and Dr Moore selflessly shares all of his. I strongly advise an initial consultation to see for yourself that there are still some great doctor's locally who care deeply for their patients.

Yelp struggles with posting positive reviews as they want this establishment to pay for them…read more Below is one they have decided they would like to hold from the page by Shannon. "Brian Pollack is an incredible asset to our community. His expertise and deep commitment to helping others make him a standout therapist. I genuinely appreciate his willingness to continually learn from his peers and the community, ensuring he provides the best possible care for his clients. I am generally not one to write negative reviews without first speaking to someone involved with…read morethe business to resolve matters. Unfortunately, I tried that here and it did not work. I was a client of Brian Pollack's for several years (2015-early 2019). While many things happened that were helpful, he often used victim-blaming language in regards to my trauma history (including telling me I shouldn't drink and should set better boundaries), he violated HIPAA at one point, and he left several voicemails for my current therapist panicking about how I was doing with recovery based on information given by my mother, who at that point was not supposed to be contacting him. I have emailed him about these things, and his response the first time I mentioned the victim blaming statements amounted to "therapy is tough," and the most recent time, he responded, "I appreciate you taking the time to write this. I wish you all the best." He has never acknowledged the harm caused or apologized. I do not consider him to be truly trauma-informed, or to be willing to take responsibility and own up for his mistakes as a clinician. I have heard similar experiences from others (particularly in regard to victim blaming and refusing to apologize) as I have begun talking to people who also worked with him at RWJ and on an outpatient basis. While Brian knows eating disorders very well, I caution anyone with a trauma history from working with him, and want people to know that he does not accept responsibility for missteps.
