"Iced Coffee" means either an iced Americano or an Iced Latte. I chose the former. Before anyone took my order, I waited approximately five or six minutes. Since I was in no rush, I didn't mind. What impressed me was the number of servers who asked me if I was alright. The entry area bustled with the back and forth of servers providing water to the patrons. The dessert case looked tantalizing! I also noticed that all coffee drinks contain two shots! I was guaranteed a nice Americano. My time to order arrived, and not long after, I walked out with my very satisfying iced drink. What a beautiful setting, looking out on Galway Bay, but you can also eat at the back of the restaurant which overflows into a conservatory style eating area looking out on a gorgeous cottage style garden, packed with herbs, flowers and plants of all descriptions. The food is absolutely delicious, from the array of open sandwiches to the huge selection of mouth-watering cakes, scones and cheesecakes on display - all freshly made and so hard to resist - biggest difficulty is trying to decide which slice of cake to choose. The crockery is all old style and mostly Victorian vintage which adds to the charm of the place. Downside is it can be very busy if you arrive midday/lunchtime and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, plus I feel it is a little bit pricey but the quality of the food is probably worth it.

Seating for around 20 people inside with additional searing outside if the weather cooperates. The vegetable soup was a hearty blended soup of mixed vegetables. Perfect for this rainy day. Our sons had pancakes which only came with 2 which was disappointing. Service was a bit slow but friendly and accommodating.

Eggs Benedict with fresh eggs and a hollandaise so tasty it defied my taste buds to identify the source of its greatness. Fresh juice, and a piping hot pot of Irish breakfast.
