The second day we went, my husband and brother-in-law got the Sonoran Grill sandwich and they loved it. I got the peanut butter toast with banana and hemp seeds and the gym rat smoothie. Got them with machaca, shredded beef. Normally they come with a red sauce but I have had them in the past with a mixture of red and green sauces, Christmas version if you will. That is what I got. First heard of the Christmas version many, many years ago, somewhere in Southern New Mexico. It was great then, same as it was today. Presentation was great, as were the chilaquiles; possibly the best I've ever eaten. As good as the food was, the service by James, was equally as good, excellent actually. We found it and Valentina Visconti is an absolutely adorable coffee shop!! It is a fairly tiny shop with a handful of seats and tables. The staff was welcoming, super friendly and helpful as we perused the menu and desserts/pastries. I ordered a Lavender Matcha Almond Milk Latte. It was excellent and I would recommend it! The barista offered to make my drink a little sweeter, but it was perfect just as he prepared it! Feeling a little hungry, I also opted for the gluten-free carrot cake... and i am glad that I did because it was the absolute best carrot cake I have ever had hands down!
